[2024 Chiang Mai Stay] Travel Guide for Cross Chiang Mai Riverside (Updated Nov)
Cross Chiang Mai Riverside, Chiang Mai Hotel which is better than design

Cross Chiang Mai Riverside
A hotel in Chiang Mai that has more than just good design.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city, in the Fa Ham district, along the Ping River. Its design is eye-catching with red bricks resembling the gate of a pier, and brick walls with perforated windows that allow just enough light to shine through. The ceiling is made of exposed concrete, with circular openings like a pagoda. The lobby area is dimly lit, which I think is intentional because as soon as we leave this area, the light gradually brightens up, like a new day starting, leaving all worries behind and fully embracing the relaxing trip.
I strolled around the hotel, feeling relaxed and carefree. It's not surprising that this hotel has won several design awards. At first glance, one might wonder how this design could be beautiful (I was also skeptical at first, haha), but as I observed and listened to the staff explain, I understood. The design was meticulously thought out, incorporating the identity of Chiang Mai with architectural design. What I love the most is the playful perforated walls that allow natural light to enter the building. Plus, if you look from the outside, you can see a large 100-year-old tamarind tree with its branches and leaves swaying in the wind, which is simply breathtaking. I highly recommend my friends to experience it for themselves...

Chiang Mai hotel.
Located on the banks of the Mae Ping River, the hotel's chic design is stunning from the moment you arrive! The hotel was originally a historic sake brewery in Chiang Mai, and the designer discovered many ancient elements and structures that have survived to this day.
Facing a quiet garden, the terrace offers views of the Mae Ping River. Enjoy a leisurely stroll in the sunshine!
The hotel also has a Michelin-recommended riverside restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows, Oxygen Dining Room, with a great atmosphere. It's a great place for photos, afternoon tea, or dinner.

This boutique design hotel on the east bank of the Mae Ping River in Chiang Mai is so beautiful~ It looks good no matter how you take pictures!
I booked more than a dozen hotels for my slow life vacation in Chiang Mai in September. Today I will share the Cross Chiang Mai Riverside Resort on the east bank of the Mae Ping River. This hotel is from design to service. , All make me linger, I will definitely come back if I have the opportunity!
The Mae Ping River is the source of the Mekong River in Thailand. It originates from the mountains in the north of Chiang Mai, then passes through the city of Chiang Mai, flows through the northern highlands of Thailand, and finally reaches the central plains, where it flows into the sea from Bangkok. There are many characteristic coffee shops or snack shops along the coast. Finding a comfortable shop by the river, tasting delicious food while admiring the beautiful scenery by the river, is also an excellent way to experience the leisurely lifestyle of Chiang Mai.
The Cross Chiang Mai Riverside Resort is located on the banks of the Mae Ping River. It opened in 2017. The chic design is quite amazing! The location is very advantageous, you can easily go to various areas of Chiang Mai, only 20 minutes drive from Chiang Mai International Airport, only 10 minutes drive to the old city, and only 10 minutes drive from the famous night market in Chiang Mai.
The original site of the hotel was a long-established rice wine factory in Chiang Mai. The designer found many antique elements and structures left on the original site of the building. The hotel and the designer worked together to protect these historical features and make better use of them. , And organically integrate them into the hotel, such as the rows of 120-year-old ancient trees in the courtyard. I live in a distinguished river view suite, the room faces a quiet garden, and the terrace can sit and watch the Mae Ping River view~ The weather is fine, and I feel comfortable walking in the courtyard!

The resorts in Thailand are so beautiful that they are perfect for checking in
In the northern part of Thailand, there is a city named Chiang Mai, which is famous for its unique culture, cuisine, and tranquil environment. However, in this bustling city, there is a place that exists like a refreshing stream, bringing peace and comfort to those who visit - the Chiang Mai Riverside Resort.
The Chiang Mai Riverside Resort is located in the center of Chiang Mai city, close to the Chiang Mai River. Every inch of this land has been meticulously sculpted by nature, creating a beautiful tapestry. From a distance, the resort looks like a boat moored in the heart of a lake, quietly waiting for the arrival of guests.
As you enter the resort, you will be captivated by its design. The design philosophy of the resort is 'dancing harmoniously with nature,' so both the architectural style and the decorations are imbued with a natural essence. Here, you can see green plants surrounding each room, hear the crisp sound of water flowing through streams, and feel the cool breeze on your cheeks.
The facilities at the Chiang Mai Riverside Resort are also very comprehensive. There are various types of rooms to choose from, whether you prefer a luxurious suite or a simple cabin, you can find a satisfying option here. In addition, the resort offers a variety of recreational facilities, such as swimming pools, gyms, SPA centers, etc., allowing you to maintain your physical and mental health while enjoying your vacation.
However, what impressed me the most was the service at the Chiang Mai Riverside Resort. The staff here are very warm and friendly. With their professionalism and service, they make you feel at home. Whether you need help booking a trip or recommendations for local cuisine, they will do their best to meet your needs.
Overall, the Chiang Mai Riverside Resort is a place that brings tranquility and comfort. Here, you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the serenity of nature; you can relax in the comfortable rooms and enjoy a wonderful vacation; you can find fun in various recreational facilities and add color to your life. #hotelreview This was by far the best resort we've stayed at in Chiang Mai! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, and even set up decorations in the restaurant for my boyfriends birthday to surprise him. The room was clean, modern and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! The best part was the Oxygen dining restaurant by the river, the food and cocktails were SO delicious! Thank you for making our weekend so special! We will definitely be coming back :)#awesomepic #couplestrip #deliciousfood
