🚿 The Appelles toiletries used in the hotel have a strong fragrance, which makes people feel as if they are in the midst of instinctive desires. The entire hotel's decoration style is new Chinese style, the design team should be foreigners, because this design is not like the traditional Chinese style of implicit introversion, but obviously bright and luxurious! It introduces the Western design style!
For me, I quite like this style. It's better to be bright. Many Chinese-style hotels I've stayed in before were too dim, such as Beijing's Yihe Aman Hotel, Hangzhou's Fayun Aman Hotel, Huangshan's Yurun Hanyue Building, and Lijiang's Banyan Tree. These hotels are darker in color and lighting, not bright and generous enough!
Brand: The brand of Diaoyutai Hotel is positioned as luxurious, benchmarked with Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis.
Price: The basic room on weekdays is around 1500 yuan.
Location: Near the Old Stone Man, with sea view.

Staying at Diaoyutai is like embarking on a cultural journey of Chinese courtesy.
With the calligraphy of 'Diaoyutai' personally inscribed by Emperor Qianlong as the core brand identity, from the Chinese-style courtyard at the entrance to the lobby and then to the guest rooms, the hotel accurately and vividly interprets elegance, tranquility, and simplicity. The scent of sandalwood and cedar, the sculpture 'Qi Yun' by Sui Jianguo, the round fireplace, the curio shelf in the lobby, and a variety of richly painted ceramic dishes. Not to mention those details that can be seen everywhere: the wall painted with the distant view of Laoshan, the hand-painted lotus screen, the camellia embroidery, etc., make people want to pay tribute to Chinese aesthetics every step of the way.
If you come to Qingdao during the National Day Golden Week, I recommend staying here. Look at the sea from a high altitude, drink tea and eat pastries, taste Diaoyutai cuisine. After staying in the sea view room at MGM for two nights, I switched to the Diaoyutai Hotel. The two hotels belonging to the same group are in the same building, with two entrances sharing different floors. The front desk of the Diaoyutai Hotel is on the 51st floor, and the Fangfei Garden Restaurant is also on the 51st floor. The rooms are distributed on the 32-39 floors, and our sea view double bed room was arranged on the 33rd floor.
Unlike the modern and trendy MGM, the design of Diaoyutai is more low-key and stable, without losing its elegance. The interior layout of the room is more practical, and the decoration taste is not so strong.
During the stay, I happened to encounter a photographer invited by the designer team kpf to take overall photos of the hotel. The photographer's perspective is unique, the control of details is professional, and the photo presentation effect is very good. I, who watched for a long time on the side, learned a lot. I personally really like the lobby of the Diaoyutai on the 51st floor. The design uses red, blue, and gold colors cleverly. The use of hand-embroidered soft furnishings and the auspicious cloud pattern on the glass changes with the light. The details and the blue sky and white clouds outside the window and the endless sea view are very shocking! I chatted with the design team staff and the lobby manager. Different people and different perspectives interpret the design concept of the 51st floor. As a guest in the hotel, I think the presentation effect is great, but I prefer the 51st floor after four in the afternoon. I, who have eaten afternoon tea for two consecutive days, said it was not enough.
