[2025 Shanghai Attraction] Travel Guide for Disney Town (Updated Mar)

| Enter the park at 8:30 and conquer the three top attractions || Just returned from Disneyland, didn't buy early entry tickets, but entering at 8:30 was still very smooth, much faster than I imagined‼️ ⏰My Super Timetable: 8:30 Enter the park and head straight to Zootopia 10:20 Seven Dwarfs Mine Train 11:30 TRON Lightcycle Power Run (Fewer people at noon!) 12:00 Parade 16:00 Dinner at Disneytown (Multiple entries and exits allowed with park ticket) 🙋‍♀️Play the remaining attractions as you like, whichever you get to. We rode Winnie the Pooh Hunny Pots twice, it's very photogenic. Each wait was 20 minutes. 🙂‍↔️ps: The parade is at 12:00 noon, but you need to find a spot early. After 3pm, the queue times are generally shorter, so some second-round attractions can be scheduled for the evening. 🙋‍♀️Recommended Photo Spots: In front of the castle (Fewer people in the morning) Alice in Wonderland Maze (Beautiful lighting) Carousel (Super dreamy at night) Zootopia Police Department entrance! ‼️Tips: 1️⃣Be sure to eat a full breakfast and bring lunch directly into the park. Strong-smelling foods are not allowed. Bread, steamed buns, etc. are okay. Bring a water bottle (no more than 500ml), there's drinking water inside. This way, you can go eat around 4pm, avoiding peak dining times. Heytea, various noodles and rice dishes are available, and the prices are the same as outside. 2️⃣The fireworks are different now, but they still start at 9:15pm. Find a spot 1 hour in advance if you want to watch the fireworks, or the good spots will be gone. 3️⃣Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, 30,000 steps a day is no joke! 4️⃣There's luggage storage at the park entrance, 80 per day. 5️⃣Shortcut to Zootopia: After entering the park, walk straight to the castle, go through the right side of the castle, at the three-way intersection by the Pirates of the Caribbean shipwreck, take the middle path, and you'll reach the Zootopia entrance.

If you are a Lego fan then you must check out the Lego store at Disneytown in Shanghai! It’s two floors packed with Lego sculptures, Lego games and Lego sets! For ¥999 you can have your picture taken and turned into a Lego set! It was such a cool experience! The first floor has a giant Mulan Lego sculpture that is easily 17 feet tall! it was amazing to see in person! Myself and some friends went to Disney in February 2022 and it was COLD (2 degrees Celsius). Going again during golden week, October 2022, was a nice change with highs of 36 degrees Celsius and we were prepared for the obviously large amount of people who were also making their way to Disney that day. We stayed at the same hotel as last time (Starway hotel) and left the hotel at 6am for our early entrance of 7am. During golden week, prices of Disney tickets were high, but we also bought the early pass in addition to our ticket. This meant at 7am, we were at the very front of the queue to enter Disney and it was worth it! 2 rides on TRON, a ride on Pirates of the Caribbean, a ride on the 7 dwarves mine train and a ride on the rapids , even before the park opened for the public at 8:30am. If you’re with friends or a group, you can also buy the ‘priority access’ pass on the APP, which allows you to pay for individual ride tickets to ‘queue jump’, which is shown in one of the photos above where instead of waiting 65 minutes, we waited 5 (and paid an additional 110¥ per person). In Summer, nearing Halloween, they had themed ‘turkey legs’ and ELSA and ANNA themed ice cream. Our favorite restaurant is still the MARVEL superheroes restaurant by TRON. Disneyland Is a perfect plan to spend a crazy but fun afternoon in Shanghai. This place is not located in down town, however It can be reached easily by taxi or public transport. Get up early for this park as you might want to spend all the afternoon there. It’s a place that is worthy to see both: during day and night time as the lights makes the place look stunning. Bring comfortable walking shoes because you will be likely moving around or standing for quite a long time. Also plenty of water is essential to hydrate constantly as this place feels extreme hot if you visit in summer. Hey everyone! I recently took my kids to Shanghai Disney Resort, and it was a blast! I'm sharing this guide with you so you can have an amazing, stress-free trip too! 🚗Transportation We took the high-speed train to Shanghai and then transferred to Metro Line 11, which goes directly to the Disney Resort entrance. Super convenient! They're more affordable and often provide shuttle service to and from Disney. 🎠Itinerary Once inside the park, head to Adventure Isle and experience Soaring Over the Horizon. The glasses-free 5D effects take you and your kids on a "flight" over world-famous landmarks. The immersive experience is incredible! Next, go to Treasure Cove and try Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure. The boat ride simulates a naval battle with super realistic special effects. My kids rode it twice! We came across moodytiger, a store we had shopped at before, and they had just launched a new limited edition New Year Koi set. The shop assistant introduced four series, and the little one chose the "Red" series, symbolizing good luck from the start of the New Year. With the koi print adding an extra touch of luck, we got a parent-child outfit to catch the good fortune! After trying on the clothes, the little one admired themselves for a while and took photos with the cute store mascots, feeling very happy. Wearing the new clothes, we took lots of photos while playing at Disneytown. We passed through a lantern-lit corridor and stood next to a giant New Year decoration, with the red koi print standing out in the festive atmosphere. A lot of people don't know about it and carry a bag. You can bring a foldable canvas bag or a transparent plastic bag and carry the items you want to bring into the park in your hand. Once you're in the park, you can put your things in your bag. This trick can save you an hour and a half, and you don't even need to buy an early access card! Isn't that great? 🎢 Recommended Order of Rides First, go on the TRON Lightcycle Power Run (the wait is about 20 minutes), then go on Roaring Rapids (about 20 minutes), then Soaring Over the Horizon (the wait is about 105 minutes), and then Pirates of the Caribbean (40 minutes).
