We booked the Xinhepu private room, which has a large floor-to-ceiling window with a view of the Canton Tower. 🥢 The old-fashioned authentic taste and new-style ingredients and cooking methods are my summary of the restaurant's food. Roast goose is the signature dish here. The bright color in the photo can reproduce the deliciousness on the spot. The skin is crispy and the meat is tender, with multiple layers of good taste. The crispy pork intestines are stir-fried with leeks. When you take a bite, the tip of your tongue bounces back with a Q feeling. The most interesting dish is the peach sweet and sour pork that my friend insisted on ordering. I didn't think it was necessary to order this dish here, but I was amazed when it was served. You have to use a spoon to knock open the peach shell ice cream, dip it in the old-fashioned cream ice cream, and eat the sweet and sour pork, with dried kiwi as a side dish. The sweet and sour taste is very appetizing. The black gold mint char siu is not as delicious as I expected. I thought it would be tender, but there is much more lean meat than fat, which is not the fat-to-lean ratio I like. I heard that pig liver is the signature side dish here, so we also ordered a pig liver and meatloaf platter, with a thick pig liver as the highlight! I prefer the tender meatloaf. The seafood here is also outstanding. Whether it is yellow croaker or mantis shrimp, they are all fresh and delicious.
