[2024 Abashiri Stay] Travel Guide for Dormy Inn Abashiri (Updated Dec)
Abashiri, Hokkaido—Dormy Inn Hot Spring Hotel♨️
It takes about 10 minutes to walk slowly from Abashiri Station to the hotel. If you like to take a slow walk like this, you can also see the city, but if you are carrying luggage during snowy times, you have to consider the snow on the road😆
You can store your luggage before check-in time. The hotel is very close to the bus terminal. It only takes 3 minutes to walk. It is very convenient to take the bus to various points. In addition, I would like to mention that the hotel is very friendly. When the C/I actually checked in, he informed that the luggage was already in the room❤️
The room is not big, with an average-sized double bed and can only accommodate a 29-inch suitcase. The hotel has a bathhouse, so there is no bathtub in the room, so if you want to take a bath, you have to go to the bathhouse. If you need supplies, you have to get them in the lobby on the first floor. Welcome drinks are also prepared in the lobby on the first floor. It’s really comfortable to drink hot coffee in the cold weather😊
The public bathhouse also has an outdoor open-air hot spring. It didn't snow when we went there. Soaking in the hot spring in the snow should have a unique flavor☺️After bathing, you can eat popsicles from the freezer next to it, and lactic acid drinks are provided during the day.
There is Yeming Ramen from 21:30 to 23:00 in the evening. It is provided for free. There seems to be no limit on how many bowls you can eat (there are 3 bowls piled on the table next to the passenger). I think it’s better not to waste it😋
The breakfast buffet price is ¥2300. You can make your own seafood rice bowl and make-to-order omelettes. There is a large supermarket nearby, about 5 minutes' walk. It is very convenient to restock before leaving or when you first arrive💓
