It was a very quiet beach and the scenery was amazing with the waves colliding! me and my boyfriend had a great time at the beach. the con is that it is hard to get there, you have drive up a hill and then hike down a forest to get to the beach but it’s very worth it if you are spending long time there. and it is pretty secluded so there is really nth nearby if u are down at the beach. no restaurants no toilets. so if you are planning to go to Freedom beach, i would suggest you to plan ahead of what to bring down and finish your toilet business before you hike down to the beach! it is not a very easy hike up unless if you are super duper fit. #beachlife #beachlife #beachlife #phuket

White sand and clear blue sea. There are shaded places under palm trees where you can stay and not burn out under the tropical sun. On the sides of the beach, where there are stones, you can watch the fish and look at the living corals. They sell water, fruit and more. It's a long walk, but it's worth it. The slopes are equipped. Concrete steps and walkways. I recommend everyone to visit this paradise

This is known as Phuket’s best beach, and you can see why from the pics. It’s more secluded, scenic, smaller and warmer than the other beaches. You can take a long tail boat from the other beaches or try and find it yourself. I rented a scooter to go, which was fun and also cheaper than the boat option. Just google how to find it, as there are many posts. The walk up/down to the beach is only mildly strenuous and should be fine for anyone except those who may be elderly or disabled. #givethanks #givethanks

#phukettrip This is a beautiful beach and it is not overcrowded. The water is clear. The only con is that it was a hike up and down steep steps and partly unpaved trail that was a little difficult for my mother. There are a couple of restaurants and a drink bar. It rained the day we went so the pics are a little dark. There are little speedboats available for paid tours as well.

#songkran2024Freedom Beach is a nice place for rest and enjoy with sunshine and pretty views. Normally, there are busy places for tourists ,I recommend going a little bit early for quite and enjoy with take a photo. 🏃♀️➡️The way to go ,first park car or scooter up right there at the parking place and then walk down around 20-30 minutes depends on person. 🌴The road is not that much hard ,some part walk with concert but short. 🤣The way up can be tired for some people because all the way up but fine. Highly recommend there 🥰

The beach itself was a picture of tranquility, with powdery white sand fringed by gently swaying palm trees. I found the perfect spot to lay my towel and soak up the sun, lulled by the soothing sound of waves lapping against the shore. When the heat became too much to bear, I took a refreshing dip in the clear, turquoise waters, relishing the feeling of weightlessness as I floated lazily on the surface. Snorkeling along the vibrant coral reefs, I was treated to a kaleidoscope of colorful marine life, from graceful sea turtles to shimmering schools of tropical fish. As the day drew to a close, I savored a leisurely stroll along the water's edge, watching the sun dip below the horizon in a blaze of fiery hues. #thingstodo We took a long tail boat from Patong Beach to Freedom Beach which took all of 15 minutes and a cost of 200 Baht one way per person. The facilities on the beach are awesome, there is a beach bar, snorkeling equipment to rent if you don't have your own as well as a restaurant and vendors with street food on the beach. Spotlessly clean and so chilled, relaxing and beautiful. When you arrive at the beach, you arrange a time with the skipper of the long tail to come and collect you, and voila, you get taken back as smoothly as when you arrived. It was awesome This is well worth the effort to visit if you don't like the crowds and swarms of boats on other beaches. At the time when we went, the taxi can only do you at the entrance. From there you have to walk. It's 100bht to enter but you get a free bottle of water as well. It is a very steep walk down and not ideal in flip flops! Also not greatly signposted so we missed the steps and climbed down some rocks which was a bit precarious. Lots of people did this! The beach is pristine but get there morning time if you want a sunbed. There are shady places but watch the tide as it does come in a long way and won't hesitate to take your possessions away! Two restaurants there and just a freshly relaxed vibe. Conscious by writing about it, more people will go but it already is covered in Lonely Planet and Google searches rate it highly. We spent the whole day there and people were still arriving late I think to watch the sunset. Top tier beach. I loved coming here and chilling for the day! You can walk around to other beaches, resorts and 2 viewpoints are nearby too. They have a bar/restaurant on the water. 50 baht was a fine price to pay for the vibes and chilling. Free sun chairs, regular chairs and tables you can fully relax with good tunes in the background too.

If you’re looking for an adventure, a secluded beach where nature takes its course, away from the tourists, through the edge of the forest, then freedom beach is one for you! You have to pay 100 Thai Baht , however this does include a bottle of water and the guide will lead you down to the beach through the forest. Appropriate footwear is advised as the path is steep and contains rocky ground. Once at the beach you’ll find a small contained beach within a bay. There are no toilets and no restaurants, however, a few small stores to buy drinks. Phuket | most scenic beach on the island

Speaking of beaches, Phuket has quite a lot to offer with its long coastline. So which one should we really go? We have been to this one in which our friend recommended - Freedom Beach 🏝️ We are definitely in love with it and could highly recommend too! It is a paid beach so it costs 100 baht per person to enter but I think it is worth it. The way down to the beach is quite steep so you have to really be careful as it might be slippery after the rain that causes accidents. I did a drone flight here before getting down to the beach (see pic 2 and 4!). The water here is so clear and in turquoise colour, super beautiful and insane with white sand and unique rock formations at the side. This beach is definitely a good place to hangout, chill, sunbathe and go swimming - such a nice one to spend your afternoon. I mostly recommend coming before sunset so the light becomes much softer and you won’t get sunburnt that easily Tips: bring along mosquito spray because we got quite a lot of mosquito bites on the way down to the beach. 📍Freedom Beach, Phuket #phuket #thailand #awesomepic

This beach is located to the south from Patong and it’s hard to reach it as there’s a hiking path through the jungle. the taxi brings you to the entrance, where you have to pay 100 baht which includes a bottle of water. But you can skip that step if you take the next path and it’s free. At the beach you can rent chairs and umbrellas or get free mats and umbrellas in the middle of the beach (if you buy food and beverages from the same vendors). the water is very clean and warm. There’s a simple restaurant on the rocks with a great view, but you have to climb the rocks to get there. You can rent a boat 500 / person to go back to Patong or hike back to the gate to get a taxi 500/car.

This small but stunning beach boasts crystal-clear waters and is aptly named "secret" because it cannot be seen from the road where cars drive by. To get there, one must walk down the hill from the parking area, which takes about 15 minutes, but it's totally worth it! 🌊 Another option is to take a long-tailed boat from Patong Beach, which takes approximately 25 minutes, and this is the route I chose. The boat ride took us past Tri Trang Beach and Merlin Beach, allowing us to appreciate the beauty of the sea and the rocks before reaching our destination. Furthermore, there's also a beachfront restaurant called Barefoot Bistro at Freedom Beach Phuket, serving homemade-style food. The restaurant, located at the far end of the beach, has tables and seats for guests. Every dish is prepared using charcoal, and I highly recommend trying their burger and pad Thai, which are both cooked on a charcoal grill, imparting a smoky flavor to the food. Getting There - open google map and get directions! Attractions - Freedom Beach Nicest beach to do snorkeling in Phuket. You will need to hike for about 30 min to get there. Difficult hike and full of insects, but it is worth it! Try to visit this place early and leave before it gets dark. At the beach you can get coconut, beer or juice from vendors.

Freedom Beach, Phuket Wow, this place is beautiful. This is some of the clearest water I’ve ever seen; it’s shimmering blue and breathtaking. You have to hike up a big hill and through a rocky trail to get to the destination but it is so worth it. Definitely make your way here, it’s levels above the usual Patong Beach. #wintergetaway
