For my stay in Bangkok I choose Grand Mercure Hotel Atrium. The are few reasons why I choose this hotel. First of all, for me was important location. Hotel it’s just 10 minutes walk from Makkasan station of Airport Link and same distance from Phetchaburi Metro station. The second reason price included breakfast. And as a compliment from the hotel, I’ve got an upgraded room. And the third very important reason is the hotel service. From check in till check out hotel’s employees trying their best to make sure that you enjoy your stay in this hotel. One of the minuses of this hotel is that hotel’s facilities little bit outdated. #bangkoktrip

Bangkok- the city that never sleeps🇹🇭

There has been written a lot about Bangkok so I try to write my local experiences. This city never sleeps! There is always something on! If you want to have a look at normal people’s life then take a bus for THB 8 (photo 19&20) or a boat on a canal. If you need to relax go to one of the many parks like Lumphini, Chatuchak, Benchakitti. We went to Benchasiri Park (photo 3&4) which is very popular in the evening to sit at the lake and chat or have drink! I always have my hair cut (photo 18&19) at MRT Sukhumvit station! It is fast, clean and cheap! You put THB 150 into the machine, get a ticket and when your number is called it is your turn! I have been many times to Bangkok and I always want to come back Getting There - Air Rail Link from the airport THB 30-45 in the city it is best to use BTS and MRT subways Attractions - 1. Grand Palace 2. Wat Arun 3. Wat Phra Chetuphan 4. Emquarter Mall: Between 6th and 5th floor there is a kind of park (photo 20) with many plants, small rivers flowing, an excellent place to relax Hotels - 1. Grand Mercure Atrium - 5* at 4*price 🇹🇭

It is very convenient only 750 meters walking distance from Makkasan airport rail link and Phetchaburi MRT station. There is also a water taxi from Prasarnmit pier which is 600m away to Chitlom pier if you want a real local experience !The reception hall is stunning tall (photo 5&6).The rooms are 30m2 and there is a flat TV, safe, fridge and free water bottles. We had a superior room with a king size bed which was very comfortable. Book a room that includes breakfast which offers everything you can imagine including some Arabian, Indian and Chinese specialities. Everything was so delicious. If you stay at this hotel on a Friday or Saturday night try nearby Classic Room Restaurant (photo 10-12) with live jazz music. It is great fun in a great ambiance! I definitely would stay again at this hotel! Perfect Location in Bangkok

Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium is located along New Petchburi Road, 701 m from Phetchaburi MRT Station. With a swimming pool, fitness center and free WiFi in all areas, it’s a great stay for those wanting to experience BKK The rooms were so big and comfortable. Its a shame we only stayed one day. Public Restaurant offers an all-day dining menu. Guests can enjoy both a la carte and buffet dining options. Open for lunch and dinner, Benihana serves traditional Japanese sake, juicy steaks and teppanyaki-style dishes. The property is 2.8 mi from the Night Market and a 40-minute drive from Suvarnabhumi Airport. It’s 20 minutes from the Siam Paragon Mall we’re you can find all stores from the west. Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium (formerly Avani Atrium Bangkok) is a large 4-star hotel, a standard budget chain located in the heart of the city, Asoke-Phetchaburi area. The hotel is located on Phetchaburi Road near MRT Phetchaburi Station. The lobby is spacious, has a fair amount of seating, and is beautifully decorated. Deluxe Rooms Deluxe brand, 30 sq.m. The rooms here have just been renovated. They are spacious, have a perfect usable area, and have a soft, thick bed that will make you sleep comfortably. The bathroom has a shower and a Rain Shower, but no bathtub, but there is a bidet. Facilities The swimming pool is located on the 4th floor, and there is a Pool Bar. The pool is not very big, but there is enough space to relax and swim comfortably. The fitness room and yoga class are located on the 4th floor, as is the swimming pool. It is open Monday-Friday: 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Public Restaurant serves breakfast from 7:00 AM - 10:30 AM. There is a wide variety of food to choose from, but it mostly focuses on Indian food. The taste is average, but still edible. This is another interesting place to stay because it is a large 4-star hotel, inexpensive, located in the heart of Bangkok, and has complete facilities. #bkkinsider Name of Hotel - Avani Atrium Hotel Type of Room - Avani Corner Room Location - 1880 New Petchburi Road, Bangkok 10310, Thailand Avani Atrium Hotel is about 45 mins away from the Suvarnabhumi Airport if you are taking a grab/taxi and if you are coming by the Airport rail link, you will get down at Makkasan Airport Rail Link station and walk approx 10 to 15mins to reach the hotel lobby. For my this stay I booked a normal entry level room however I got upgraded to a Corner Room. The best part of the Corner Room is the stunning views that you will get from the panoramic windows, this room also comes with a huge bathroom with a corner type bathtub. Honestly I found the room to be a little dated with some wear and tear, in this regard I called the front desk and asked for a change of room to the basic Avani Premier room which I have stayed before and I am comfortable with.
