Although not many people have been there, it is called 'Little Wudang' for a reason
Nan Wudang Mountain, also known as 'Little Wudang',
is located within the territory of Longnan County, Ganzhou City, 220 kilometers from Guangzhou.
It is a scenic spot that integrates the beauty of Danxia landforms and Buddhist culture,
consisting of two areas: Wudang and Guanxi,
including four scenic areas: Wudang Peak, Yubi Peak, Qitang Mountain, Guanxi Wei, and four independent attractions: Yanyi Wei, Taiping Bridge, Wushi Wei, and Cai's Ancient Banyan.
Little Wudang Mountain has 99 peaks,
which stand tall and straight like swords and spears, pointing directly to the sky.
Between the peaks, there are winding paths.
Walking slowly along the stone steps of the mountain trail,
it takes about 40 minutes to reach the top of Wudang Peak.
The peak is connected to the rear peak, and the square area covers dozens of acres,
with a picturesque temple surrounded by red eaves and flying pavilions,
and the surrounding area is full of lush pines and cypresses.
In addition to natural beauty,
Little Wudang Mountain also has large-scale, well-preserved, and functional Hakka round houses such as Guanxi Wei and Yanyi Wei,
which are typical representatives of Hakka square residential buildings,
and have high historical, scientific, and artistic value.

In the city of enclosures, it turns out that even bridges can be like enclosed houses
9.2 Longnan Enclosed House Tour.
During the Qianlong era, the Yudai Bridge, which was a must-pass for the Gan-Yue merchant caravan, has now become a hidden spot in the deep mountains, rarely known to people. The bridge is built with a sheltered corridor in the style of Hakka enclosed houses, showing that the Hakka people are truly thorough proponents of enclosure house-ism.
Half an hour further into Xinfeng County, there is a navel orange base of Nongfu Spring, where many ginkgo and orange trees are planted. However, they only turn golden yellow in November. I believe that the combination of apricot and orange here must be very beautiful at that time.
Before heading to the Guanxi Enclosure Scenic Area, I first visited the Hakka Wine Castle and bought a few kilograms of non-heritage craft glutinous rice wine to savor at home
Finally, I arrived at the Guanxi Enclosed Houses, where the largest group of enclosed houses in southern Jiangxi is gathered. Each house is like a small fortress, with a massive scale and intricate interiors. However, one or two of the enclosed house groups are still under renovation. If they were all open, you could slowly stroll around for a whole day.

The small town of Longnan in Jiangxi, which has set Guinness World Records
Longnan, located at the southernmost point of Jiangxi Province in China, is a frontier town that has set three Guinness World Records. This city is famous for having the most, largest, and highest wonders in the world, and is known as the center of Chinese culture fusion.
In Longnan, there is the world's largest square cultural relic - Guanxi Weilou. This Weilou took 29 years to build, has a total of 282 rooms, with turret at each corner, a narrow entrance, and the rear wall is up to eight meters wide. This grand building, which looks like a folk palace, hides the unity of the Xu family's 7426 square meters. They made every effort and invested millions of silver dollars just to build this family shelter.
In addition, Longnan also has the world's tallest curtain, Nie Yiwei, which is 14.3 meters high and has a history of more than 340 years. In a peaceful environment, its unique red lanterns and wooden doors show the Hakka style.
Some people describe Longnan as an ancient Roman castle in the East. In this small town, 376 Weilou have gathered hundreds of different architectural forms from all over the world. These Weilou have witnessed the glorious history of generations of Longnan people and inherited their unique cultural heritage.
In the remote mountain villages of Longnan, traditional white-walled and black-tiled buildings are more like Siheyuan in Huizhou architecture. The eaves gather the old well shrine, showing traces of previous life. The residents used their own hands to build beautiful homes, gather different properties, and live together. And these Weilou, whether standing in the mountains or winding along the stream, converge into a harmonious courtyard. The countless flying eaves of the courtyard seem to point to the boundless sky, symbolizing the ambition of the people of Longnan and moving forward.
Longnan, this charming city, is both a blend of history and modernity, and a symbol of Chinese national unity. The Weilou here not only show the architectural styles of the world, but also condense the wisdom and strength of the Chinese people. They are the pride of the people of Longnan and the precious cultural heritage of our country. As time goes by, the Weilou of Longnan will continue to attract the attention of the world with its unique charm and become a treasure of the excellent culture of the Chinese nation.
