Lost in the Glass Forest?

This is The Hakone Glass no Mori Venetian Museaum located in Hakone. Take the train to the Hakone Yumoto station and ride the bus Hyoseki/Hakone Glass no Mori-mae bus stop (approximately 20 mins bus ride). I would recommend to buy the Hakone Free Pass as it would be more convenient and cheaper. You can admire all the gorgeous glass works in this museum. It’s decorated like a small English town and it is very pretty!

Hakone Sculpture Forest and Glass Forest Art Museum are worth a visit
The most surprising thing about coming to Japan is going to Hakone Sculpture Forest and Glass Forest Art Museum. Hakone is around Tokyo. I recommend Hakone Mount Fuji and then return to Tokyo. Taking the train to these two art museums is really beautiful and you won't regret it if you go.
We went straight to Mount Fuji after we finished, and then returned from Mount Fuji.
You can buy tickets at the entrance on the spot, which is about 80 RMB.

Hakone Venetian Glass Museum
I've visited many art museums including those specializing in glass. The Hakone Venetian Glass Museum was unique. I was afraid that the Italianate architecture and crystal installations on trees and bridges would seem kitchy, but I enjoyed walking grounds as well as visiting the exhibitions. The museum is beautifully incorporated into the natural surroundings. I found the size perfect for an hour visit to the exhibits and grounds. I skipped shopping in the stores and wasn't hungry enough for a restaurant stop so can't comment. I'd recommend as a refreshing stop to anyone interested in glass art forms.
In 2024, I want to go back to Hakone.

Hakone Venetian Glass Museum
#2024wish Went there on a weekday. Admission fee is 1800 yen per adult. Parking is 300 yen.
Good for a short visit if you have some time to spend around the area, but I wouldn't recommend going out of the way to visit it. It was quite quiet when we were there. The place was quite small, so we completed our round within an hour. The experience workshops require prior reservations, so we didn't try those. Overall, a nice place for some photo taking~.
I wish to go back in 2024.

♨️My first stop in Hakone was the art museum, they not only display art, but also quietly tell the story of Hakone.
I went to two Hakone art museums this time, one of them is the Glass Forest Art Museum
