The hotel was newly reopened back then so we were rather excited to visit it. The hotel is located above Paradigm mall which has been opened for years. And most tourist have been hoping for the hotel to be completed. Finally in November 2024 it opened! Though we felt that the buffet spread wasn’t a lot and the seating area might be enough if the hotel is in full capacity. But for the price point, there is not complaining! Short stay at Hyatt Place Johor Bahru

#hotelreview Hyatt Place is a newly opened hotel and it is located within Paradigm mall so it was very convenient. Check-in was fast and fuss-free and we managed to get our room immediately. The room is quite spacious & bright and there's a big sofa for the king room. The basic amenities were provided in the room. The staffs were all very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was okay with a spread of Western and Malay cuisine. The Nasi lemak was nice. Overall, we still had a pleasant experience and will come back if we want to do some shopping at Paradigm mall.

My best stay at Hyatt Place JB

#traveldiaries This is a super nice hotel in Johor Bahru and it is inside a shopping center. We like it and also have book a few stay here. We prefer Austin area but the hotels there are not so new so we don’t mind the travelling time. We really like the rooms at Hyatt Place Johor Bahru and we always book 2 rooms for our stay. Each room has a sofa and it is large and comfortable to sleep there. There is no bathtub but it is ok for us since we prefer standing shower. The hotel is connected to the mall and there is a shortcut to the mall but this door is only open from 10am to 10pm.

Swimming for the children, Shopping for the adults

#traveldiaries The children like the swimming pool here and as we travel in a family with grand parents and children so choosing a suitable hotel is important to us. The swimming pool at Hyatt Place Johor Bahru is great for us and the direct linked to the shopping center also suit our itinerary. The lobby at level 7 is spacious and has plenty of seating area. There is a small gym just next to the gym and sometimes we will use it but we prefer the swimming pool. The shopping center also has many facilities for the children too like ice-skating and archery.

Staff were friendly, informative and the breakfast provided was more than adequate for this brand. This was one hotel where I didn't have to adjust the AC and didn't perspire under a thick duvet cover. Environment friendly thought was everywhere from the wooden doorknob sign to the bathroom amenities. The TV was good with casting ability from your phone. Only thing that didn't work was the alarm clock but who uses that anyway? Definitely a hotel to recommend.

One Of Newest Hotel in Malaysia JB

Stay here during last few days while in JB. Nice hotel with big room and bathroom. Big and wide window bay. Room come with a 3seater sofa and a coffee table. Breakfast was on Level 7 from 7am to 1030am. Asian food and hala food. Nice place and swimming pool with a good view. Ground level was connect with Paradigm Mall and there is many cafe, retail and restaurant around around the mall.

I enjoyed my stay here as the room is quite spacious. Staying at a new hotel has its advantages as the fixtures are new and it is well maintained. I was glad I had a good view, the view of the swimming pool. It’s a relaxing view to enjoy after a long day of shopping at the mall.

Relaxing stay at Hyatt JB Paradigm Mall

#familytrips2024 A family trip out to JB is one of the easiest family getaways that can be arranged out of Singapore, on this trip I brought my parents on a short stay to celebrate their wedding anniversary at the Hyatt Place Paradigm Mall in Johor Bahru. The hotel seems quite recently renovated, and has plenty of space inside the room for luggage and shopping bags. The long sofa was a nice place for my parents to rest and we appreciated the cake to commemorate the anniversary. 🌞 Pool is a little on the small side, but at least it is a regular shape for laps. Probably more suited for young children to splash around in the shallow zone to cool down. 🍊 Breakfast buffet was adequate though not a wide spread. My parents had fun putting oranges in the juice machine for freshy pressed orange juice. #malaysia #malaysiatrip

Very good location you should try!!

This is my 1st time staying here and we had the high floor. The rooms are spacious and very clean. We had a large tv monitor and it was so comfortable watching tv from the bed. so far my fav hotel in jb, great service and ultra clean room!! Went with my family and they love it too, not only is the bed big, there’s also a sofa bed, literally can fit 3 pax if not u can literally sleep comfortably thr! The best part is the price of the hotel is not that pricey, love it! Please keep it this way🤭 we will surely return!! Didnt visit the gym but looks big n clean from the others Many food nearby too!

Lovely pool area and great location

We chose Hyatt Place for the second time now due to its convenient location of being linked to Paradigm Mall. It’s fairly new so the facilities and interiors are really nice and befitting of the Hyatt branding. We especially loved the pool area which was very clean and well maintained. Staff are lovely and greeted us even when they are just walking past which made us feel very welcome. The only thing they don’t have is room service but additional amenities and snacks are available at reception so you just have to give a call and go there to collect it. Since the hotel is connected to a mall, food options are great so we didn’t mind the lack of room service at all.

Cozy and decent room

The hotel is located above Paradigm Mall… easy & direct access to the shopping mall. The room looks new and bed is comfortable. Only downside; the amenities and free water bottle, need to be self collected at the lobby.

Hopping Good Time at Paradigm Mall

The Christmas decorations at Paradigm Mall was a great surprise! They had real statues and many sylvanian families toys on sale. Overall the mall doesnt have many shops to shop at if you're here to shop. Food options are still okay. We tried Vivo Pizza and it was kinda disappointing so we went to Aeon Tebrau instead. Overall it's good for photo opportunities but it's probably ending soon.
