Sam Roi Yot Freshwater Marsh is a unique and biodiverse wetland located in the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, in the Prachuap Khiri Khan Province of Thailand. The marsh is fed by freshwater from nearby mountains and is an important habitat for a wide range of aquatic plants and animals, including many rare and endangered species.
The marsh covers an area of approximately 36 square kilometers and is surrounded by limestone hills and the sea. The water in the marsh is shallow, with an average depth of just one meter, and is home to a variety of aquatic plants, such as water lilies, lotus, and cattails. These plants provide important habitat for a range of aquatic animals, including frogs, turtles, fish, and various invertebrates.
The Sam Roi Yot Freshwater Marsh is also an important breeding ground for many species of birds, including egrets, herons, and kingfishers. During the winter months, the marsh attracts a large number of migratory birds, which travel from as far away as Siberia to escape the harsh winter weather.
In addition to its ecological significance, the marsh is also an important resource for local communities, who rely on it for fishing and agriculture. Local fishermen use traditional methods to catch fish in the marsh, and rice fields located around the marsh benefit from the nutrient-rich water.
Visitors to the marsh can explore the area by boat or kayak, taking in the beautiful scenery and wildlife. There are also several hiking trails around the marsh, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the surrounding hills and learn about the local flora and fauna.

Beautiful beyond words 😮.
The main places're not close to each other. They're on both sides of the mountain range. Difficult to visit them all in one day.
The ticket is valid for all places in the national park for one day.
