#traveldiaries Must visit in Songkhla for the panoramic views! When we went, the lift station opened at 9am NOT 830am as listed. Tickets are return and though prices have increased it's still affordable. The lift tracks are covered so there's no view but the lift is air conditioned, which is a godsend in the killer heat (bring umbrellas). To find the royal pavilion, to the right side after the bell tower there's a downhill stairway flanked by gold dragons, walk down it to reach.
