King's Lake: A Harmonious Blend of Mountains and Water, Stunning Natural Scenery
Visiting King's Lake is not just about boating; you can also go hiking. Especially in the Upper Lake area, you must hike a bit to see even more beautiful scenery. If you want to see waterfalls, you will need to walk up and down to find them. The forest and vegetation are sights that city dwellers rarely see, so if you have the chance, you should definitely take a walk and enjoy the different natural landscapes.

King's Lake - Check-in Waterfall
King's Lake is not just a lake; it also has a waterfall. You can see it from a distance by taking an electric boat, and after walking for an hour in the upper lake area, you will see another waterfall. Some people say it's not worth going up because the waterfall is small and not very spectacular. But I think it's hidden in the mountains and forests, with sunlight streaming through the trees, making it a perfect spot for photos. However, if you arrive at the upper lake area after 11 AM, it's not recommended to go (the round trip to the waterfall takes more than an hour).

Germany's Most Beautiful Lake - Königssee
Germany's Most Beautiful Lake - Königssee
Königssee is located near the border town of Berchtesgaden, between Germany and Austria. To visit Königssee, you can start from Salzburg or Munich. The lake's location is unique, as it is completely surrounded by the Alps, offering breathtaking scenery. Blue skies, alpine meadows, and green waters create a paradise-like setting. The boats on Königssee are all electric to protect the environment. Nature lovers should not miss this spot.

Lots of tourists but worth it. Get there early and get a row boat. If you are fit enough, you will discover some of the world's most beautiful views from otherwise inaccessible areas. Go to Obersee through the lake. Amazing!!!#境外遊 #nationalpark

Another part of German that is very different is Konigssee, this place is unique. It remind me a little bit of switzerland architecture but the air quality is exactly like switzerland. The water is clean, the city pretty quiet. Surrounded by the beautiful lake, paying a visit here should worth your time. #merrychristmas

Germany's famous attraction, Königssee, surrounded by the snow-capped Alps!
Königssee, a renowned tourist spot in Germany, is located on the border between Germany and Austria. This lake is encircled by the Alps, exuding a natural ambiance! The reflection on the lake is mesmerizing, showcasing a unique, clear emerald green color! This time, I came here mainly to take a boat ride from the Königssee pier to the lower lake and visit the famous St. Bartholomew's Church. This church, primarily red and white, looks particularly striking in photos with the lake's reflection and the mountains in the background! As we are approaching winter, the Alps are also covered in various types of snow, which is quite a surprise!
For this one-day trip to Königssee, I stayed in Berchtesgaden. Booking through Trip.com's Platinum Member offers made it even more affordable! Königssee is one of Germany's most popular attractions. If you're visiting Germany, this is a must-see destination! It is the deepest and clearest lake in Germany, located in the Berchtesgaden National Park in Bavaria. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful reflections on the lake's surface and the clear green waters. The natural beauty here is truly awe-inspiring! Additionally, you can catch glimpses of parts of the Alps, and on clear days, you might even see some mountain peaks! As you stroll through the Königssee area, there are some shopping streets to explore as well. If you have the time, it's recommended to spend an entire day here, as there are plenty of photo spots to capture. Overall, Königssee is a highly recommended destination!

A Hidden Paradise - Germany's Königssee
Königssee is a picturesque natural attraction surrounded by the magnificent Alps. The lake's crystal-clear waters are like a mirror, reflecting the serene beauty around it. Sitting quietly by the lake, I felt a profound sense of peace. There are many outdoor activities available here, including boating and hiking, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in nature's splendor. I chose to hike along the lakeside path, where the scenery was breathtaking, especially the waterfalls and lush greenery. I encountered many tourists from around the world, all drawn by the area's natural beauty. As the sun set, the lake's surface shimmered with golden waves, and in that moment, I deeply felt the power and tranquility of nature. Königssee is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the serenity, and it's worth savoring for every traveler.

Germany's Königssee – A Stunning Hidden Paradise
Last time I went to Germany, my sister was eager to visit Königssee, a lake surrounded by breathtaking scenery and mountains. We asked our relatives living in Germany for the best way to get there, and it turned out that it was very convenient to travel from Salzburg, Austria. So, we first took a train from Munich to Salzburg and stayed there for a night before heading out the next day. We stayed near the train station and discovered that the direct bus to Königssee was also nearby, making it very convenient. The bus ride was only about twenty to thirty minutes. Our bus made a stop midway, and we thought we needed to transfer, but the driver, with limited English, told us to wait for ten minutes before continuing, so we stayed on the bus.
Soon, we arrived at our destination and immediately bought boat tickets. Königssee is divided into the Upper Lake (Obersee) and the Lower Lake (Salet). We first visited Obersee and then Salet. During the boat ride, the captain introduced Königssee in German. The most unforgettable part was when a person on the boat played a horn, allowing us to hear the beautiful echo from the mountains, a gift from nature.
Although it was drizzling when we visited Königssee, the mist on the mountains made the scenery look like a painting. There were many spots perfect for taking photos. Walking in the mountains, breathing in the fresh air, and absorbing the natural energy made us feel rejuvenated. The ducks in the mountains were not afraid of people and playfully gathered around my feet.
Afterward, we slowly took the boat back to Salet. It was noon, so we had a dish made from fish caught in Königssee. Although the cooking method was a bit intense, the fish was incredibly fresh. We then visited the St. Bartholoma church, which looked like a red onion. It was small inside but felt very peaceful.
If you travel to Germany, I highly recommend visiting Königssee to appreciate the beauty of nature.

King's Lake in Germany
⛱️Must-visit attraction: King's Lake
King's Lake is the deepest lake in Germany and one of the most beautiful. The lake was formed during the last glacial period by glacial erosion, giving it a long and narrow shape reminiscent of Nordic fjords. The lake is completely surrounded by the Alps. It is said that the name of King's Lake comes from the surrounding mountains: one resembles a king, another a queen, and the small hills in between are their children, with a distant peak resembling a lying witch.
🌄Travel tips: The best way to explore King's Lake is by boat or rowing, as it is a very narrow lake, 7.7 kilometers long and about 1.7 kilometers at its widest point, with a shoreline of 19.96 kilometers, nestled among towering mountains. There seems to be a hiking route, but unless you stay in the area, it is not possible to walk around the lake.
🏨Accommodation tips: There are not many accommodations by King's Lake, so you can stay in a small town a few kilometers away.
💗Other tips: Stop at the St. Bartholoma pier midway, where there is a small red-roofed church, the St. Bartholomew's Chapel. It is like a postcard, and most people get off the boat here.

The most beautiful lake ever
#myhiddengems
This was an absolute hidden gem during my travels in Europe. Part of our trip to Berchtesgaden National Park, we took a tour of the Lake Konigssee, which was the most serene leg of our trip. While my photos may not do it justice, but during certain hours the lake was so surreal.
Before you take this beautiful ride there are other things you can do in the vicinity. For instance, You get to visit the lakeside Bavarian village. They have some quaint restaurants there too. The baroque style church of St. Bartholomew.
Further you can walk to st. johann and pearl chappel. There were some very interesting guided tours too which are supposed to be extremely informative in terms of the region's history and geographical characteristics.

Germany's Most Beautiful Lake - Königssee
People who enjoy the view of lakes and mountains must go and see it, it's very beautiful. The boat tickets for the upper lake area are more expensive, but the scenery is even more stunning. However, you should pay attention to the opening hours of the upper lake area, and note that getting there involves a hike. Personally, I recommend not going all the way to the waterfall, as it is quite small and not very impressive. It's better to spend the time enjoying the views of the lake.

Hiking in the Upper Lake District of Königssee.
To get to the lower lake district of Königssee, you can take a boat, but if you want to see what the upper lake is like, you have to hike there. It takes about a few hours, and some parts of the trail are not very easy to walk on. If you want to go up, it is recommended to wear sneakers and pants. However, the scenery of the upper lake is very beautiful, the color of the water is a lighter shade of blue-green compared to the lower lake district. After reaching the farthest point of the upper lake, you can even go further to see the waterfall.

Königssee in Bavaria, Germany - A Reflection of Beauty
Königssee is located at the southeastern end of Bavaria, Germany, and its special feature is the extremely clear lake water that reflects the surrounding mountains and buildings! This time, taking a bus from Salzburg, Austria to Königssee in Germany, the scenery I saw was truly breathtaking. The water at the edge of the lake reflects the appearance of the mountains, and also reflects the clouds in the sky, full of surprises! In addition, from different angles, I also took many photos of the reflections, highly recommend visiting this Königssee!
This time, I bought the plane tickets through trip.com to get to Salzburg, and also earned trip coins! Why not download it now? Become a diamond member and earn even more coins!

No filter, the King's Lake taken by iPhone 10 is so beautiful.
In early spring, the German King's Lake is very beautiful and moving. The distant mountain peaks are still covered with thick snow, and the clear and transparent lake water reflects the inverted image of the mountains. We stayed at the Count of Anif Hotel, which is only a little over an hour's drive from the King's Lake. There is a large parking lot. After visiting the town of Schönau, we took a boat to tour the King's Lake. Looking at the red domed church from afar, reflecting between the snow-capped mountains and green water, it is really beautiful!
The church of St. Bartholomew was built in 1134 and is the symbol of Kings Lake. Located on the Hirschau peninsula on the west bank of the middle of Kings Lake, it can only be reached by boat or long journey. This church church originated in the 12th century and has become a Baroque style since the 16th century. Small and chic, famous for its special shape, the red round dome is onion. The church was named after the disciple of St. Bartholomew, a protector of the Alpine farmers and milkman, who had his statue in the church. The Watzmann peak behind the church is the second highest in Germany with a height of 2,713 meters.
Compared to the non-human fireworks on the lake, the fireworks of the St. Bartholomew station made us feel very practical. After lunch, tease the wild ducks by the lake and enjoy the rare relaxation of the journey. In addition to churches and restaurants, St. Bartholomew has many routes for walking. If you just want to roast fish to go in a hurry, it is a pity that the scenery like a 5A national park. In the autumn, the king's lake has turned over the color palette like nature, and it has a thick fog. It is full of pure colors. Red maple leaves and turquoise lakes, the first time I feel red and green is so harmonious!
Afternoon turn completely, the value of the onion head church at this time has finally returned to normal level. Like the Ramsau Chapel, it also has no special features, but it wins the right position and can play a finishing touch in the picture. In the same way, there is the chapel in Hallstatt.
[Other tips from Kings Lake]
1) There are coupons behind the tickets for Kings Lake. We were 50% off McDonald's discount coupons. Don't waste if you need it.
2) There seems to be no public toilet in the St. Bartholomew station. We went to the restaurant.
3) The best location to shoot St. Bartholomew's church is still on board. With a little lake water, you can create the feeling of "the small chapel by the lake".

[The beauty of Kings Lake is beyond imagination!
Germany has such a proverb: If God cares who, who will be born in Berchtesgaden!
The lawn full of small flowers, green, green, almost all the "green" of nature is presented in front of you, joy, excitement, happy mood, not only the paradise on earth, here It is a paradise on earth!
From the Onion Church, returning to the small town of Berchtesgaden by boat, sitting opposite a small German brother and sister on the boat, making a face with me, cute dolls let me change the stereotype of the Germans Impression...
Tour route:
From Munich, train to and from; or from Austria by car (eg Salzburg)
Recommended tour time: 1st

From the parking lot of Kings Lake, slowly walk from the parking lot to the lake, but in five minutes, you can slowly enjoy the town in five minutes, quiet and comfortable, just rained yesterday, and the King Lake cruise because of last night's The storm was blocked, and the lake would swim a few times from time to time, swimming quietly, and the lake was clear. It is a pity that this weather did not take a boat at Kings Lake. It is my regret to stay here.

After enjoying the jewel-like Shanghu Lake, the trip became very easy. I walked along the path of the Lake District and patted. Happening came, remembering the cows in the distance. The two agreed to take a cow from Kushiro. In such a delightful lake area, I breathe two clear air. When I was about to leave for the dock, I saw that the cow that I called was approaching me step by step. Then, I didnt look at me and left. I don't know why I chase after the leg, and slowly follow it behind, Niu Niu, anyway, the two are on the way, go together! This cow is familiar with the road to the dock.
At the crowd, a middle-aged couple looked at me in amazement and asked: "This cow, are you coming over?!"
I found out that King Lake The cow is very kind, as long as it doesn't touch it, it doesn't attack humans at all, because there are too many people coming in every day. I had a photo with the cattle before I left.
Yoki Huang.
On both sides of the King's Lake is a mountain, with a lawn, wildflowers and a head cow. We walked along a small road and will soon be able to reach the famous chalet area of Kings Lake. The lake with a mirror-like reflection is here. All the visitors also gathered at the wooden house on the lake to marvel at the works of nature.
Before I set off, there was a Raiders saying that Kings Lake was known as the Jiuzhaigou of Germany. in my opinion. Except that they all have a green lake, the temperament is completely different. The temperament of King Lake has a classic and magical color. Even if a knight suddenly appeared in front of me, I was not surprised.
Yoki Huang.
Counting the most beautiful viewing spots of Kings Lake, I think it is the pasture on the salet. If you know the friends of King Lake, you should know that this is the place where you can "drink milk".
In the face of such a lake like a fairy tale world, all the troubles seem to have vanished. After walking for an hour and a half, I was already thirsty. Unfortunately, this "drinking milk" place did not open when we arrived, and the cattle and sheep were not seen in the pasture.
Responsible Trip Tips
1 The legendary place to drink milk, there is a large empty grass, you can consider lying quietly here for an afternoon;
2 to go to Kings Lake to play, recommended Bring enough water and dry food, because there is really not much to find and drink here.
3 It takes more than an hour to walk from the salet to the ranch. It will pass through an irregular mountain path and need to be safe. To prevent sprains.

Kings Lake on the southern border of Germany is the most beautiful part of the German Alps, where the lake is clear
biggun.
Kings Lake is a lake that has been eroded by glaciers and is known as the most beautiful lake in Germany. It is said that the name of King Lake is derived from the surrounding mountains, one like a king, one like a queen, the middle of the hill is their children, and there is a witch peak lying in the distance. Yes, just like if your imagination is rich enough. There is really no king in the mountains here. In order to maintain the purity of the King's Lake, only electric boats, hand-boats and pedal boats were allowed to sail in the lake since 1909, and it took about five or six hours to walk. Therefore, boating has become the choice of most tourists. After disembarking, you can play along the lake, the red-top St. Bartholomews monastery, the autumn trail jungle... The view of the Kings Lake has a serenity of paradise. The cloudy days are particularly disappointing. We walked through the forests of the Kings Lake and attached to the moss-covered stumps like dogs. I especially like the damp smell in the forest, where every joint in the bone is stretching.
Yanleec.
There is a saying in Germany that the Swiss return does not look at the lake, except for the King Lake. Known for its crystal clear waters, Kings Lake is considered to be the cleanest and most beautiful lake in Germany. This is a lake that has been eroded by the glaciers, much like the fjord in northern Europe.
The best way to visit Kings Lake is to take an electric boat. The lake has a slender silhouette due to the green forests on both sides. From time to time, there are waterfalls pouring down from the top of the mountain. Cruises are like entering a fairyland.
Highlights along the way
Aurora_Rice_Ball.
Yesterday, I chatted with my friends and talked about my first experience of outbound travel. At that time, I took a small micro-single and was taken to the various scenic spots by local students.
When I went to King Lake without looking forward to it, after climbing a small hill road, I saw the view of the inner lake. The whole person was shocked to say nothing, there was no one around, so lonely wooden chair was enough for you there. Think about the life of a few hours of life, the unexpected beauty.
King Lake is located next to the small town of Berchtesgaden on the German-Austrian border, close to the Alps. This small town in the mountains is the most beautiful area in the German Alps.
Take a train from Munich, transfer via Freilassing and change to the train from Salzburg to Batesgarden. Munich Freilassing Berchtesgaden. The journey takes about 3 hours.
It is also very interesting to take the train! All the way to chat and chat is here.
After getting off the bus and taking the bus, I went to the King Lake Scenic Area. Near the lake are restaurants and shopping, very beautiful environment.
To Kings Lake, you can choose to live on the edge of the Lake District Konigssee and Obersee, or Hintersee. The advantage is to face the mountains and water directly, drink coffee at the lake, drink beer, watch the sunrise and sunset, but the disadvantage is that it is too far from the town center, there are fewer hotels, and there is little room for choice. It is recommended to live in the town of Batesgarden. There are more than 100 hotels and inns in various towns in the town. There are buses from the bus station in the town center to the surrounding area, but it takes about one hour to get there. It is best to live within half an hour's walk from the center of the town, that is, you can easily eat in the town, save money, and you can see the scenery along the way.
Kings Lake is sandwiched by steep peaks, and the boat is passing through it, not interesting. When the boat came to a cliff, the sailor blew the trumpet, and the music floated in the valley, and gracefully echoed back. It is said that the former ship will pass through the former ship, the captain will sound the gunpowder, and the gunshots will reverberate seven times, making people feel fascinated. Of course, when the weather is good, the trumpet sound can be heard twice, and the melodious sound is not free. The audience needs to pay some tips for this (usually about 1 euro).
