Chinese Courtyard
Weird place. Absolute ghost town. Don't know if it's because of COVID19 but it was completely empty and virtually shut down. It's a good option to get some peace and quiet.
Some nice traditional style chinese courtyard architecture and some nice river views. But apart from that nothing much to see. It is however a great photography location due to the setting and quietness
There are lanterns, wish ribbons, wooden staircases, traditional buildings, lotus flowers, dragons and all the other stuff you'd associate with China.

BRps
On the banks of the Chao Phraya River, there is also a place where I witnessed the history of China and Thailand. I highly recommend it. It is LHONG 1919, which is known as the Thailand Art History Terminal. Every day in this art district is a band of lights, Chinese elements are rich, I want to come here for New Year's Day, and have a fun!
It is understood that the terminal was built in 1850 by Shantou Fu, a wealthy businessman from China. It was the main terminal for the sale of Siam rice to Hong Kong, Singapore, Sai Kung and Shantou. It was also used as China and Hong Kong. The distribution of goods in Singapore and other places is also known as the "Fireboat Gallery" because of the steam-powered "fireboat" as a transport vessel. There are five long strip-shaped porch-style two-storey buildings in the area that are timeless and artistic. They were built in 1919 and LHONG 1919 (Neil 1919) was named after it.
The refurbished LHONG 1919 reopened in November 2017. I found many very distinctive shops in it, and the products sold in the store have both Thai and Chinese elements, and even Chinese elements account for the majority. From the design, texture, I am really surprised! In this art area, there is also a Mazu Temple, which has a constant incense and is also an important witness in the history of the Thai people.

Bangkok is a wonderful city. There are dilapidated buildings next to the tall buildings. There are high-end shopping malls, trendy coffee shops, and old electric poles everywhere. Modernity and history are wonderfully combined.
And when it comes to the integration of history and modernity, you have to talk about LHONG 1919, not a new land, but a pier with a hundred years of history. In order to expand the trading business, the Chen Chinese people established the terminal on the bank of the Chao Phraya River. The name is Fireboat Gallery, which is the Fireboat Dock, which is the predecessor of LHONG 1919.
The fireboat gallery that has been sleeping for more than 100 years has finally been repaired after two years. It shows people with its original appearance, and it is like crossing the old time. When she was repaired in 2017, Princess Sirindhorn came to the scene and left her signature, see P7.
