However, due to the dust kicked up by passing vehicles, it may not seem very hygienic. Additionally, as this is a tourist area, the prices are relatively high. It is recommended to opt for simpler dishes or noodles at regular eateries instead. As we debated whether to take a bamboo raft or tour the park, a tourist from Shenzhen suggested walking along the riverbank to enjoy the same beautiful scenery and close-up performances of ethnic minority songs and flute playing. We found that the riverbank offered equally stunning views with a broader perspective. The most beautiful aspect of Mingshi Tianyuan, however, is best appreciated on foot. Mingshi Tianyuan has specially designed five cycling routes of varying lengths: 'Blessing,' 'Happiness,' 'Hero,' 'Couple,' and 'Exploration.' Due to time constraints, we couldn't explore all five routes and chose the one recommended by the staff for its sunset views, which lies between the Blessing and Happiness routes. This path takes you through vast farmlands with majestic peaks in the background, perfect for photography. Given the hot weather, cycling along the route is advisable. If you choose to walk, be sure to take sun protection measures and bring enough water. Most hotels offer free bicycles, so check in advance when booking. If not, bicycles can be rented at the park entrance for 60 yuan per 3 hours. Most of the Blessing and Happiness routes have dedicated bike paths with minimal village traffic, ensuring a safe and enjoyable ride.

The best time to visit: Personally, I think Chongzuo is worth visiting all year round, but if you want to avoid the crowds, you can choose to travel in the off-season, such as from October to December, when the weather is cool and there are not many people. Travel tips: Day 1: After arriving in Chongzuo, go to the hotel to rest for a while, then you can stroll around the downtown area of Chongzuo to feel the local atmosphere. It boasts ink-painting-like countryside, mountains all around, cascading waterfalls and springs, and the cost of living is very low. This city fulfills all the fantasies of 'choosing a city to grow old in.' In such beautiful landscapes, time seems to stop flowing, and there is nothing that the landscapes of Chongzuo can't cure; if once isn't enough, then come twice! Next, follow my route and start your Chongzuo journey! 🛻 Chongzuo 3 Days 2 Nights Self-Drive Tour Itinerary Day 1: Rent a car from Chongzuo South Station and head to Detian Transnational Waterfall Group, then go to Mingshi Countryside (watch the sunset here, accommodation prices are about 200-300 yuan). Mingshi county for a touch of Vietnam

We spent three nights at Mingshi county near Vietnam border. Landscape is amazing and you are immersed among the typical southern China peaks. Life goes slows among corn fields, rivers , and local customs. some twenty minutes by car you can admire Detian transnational waterfall which border Vietnam. These waterfall are amazing and very picturesque. it is more recommended to rent a car and self drive since the area is not serviced by any public transportation and also didi or taxi are impossible to find. your local guesthouse/hotel can help you booking a car but self driving would allow more flexibility to the traveller

Mingshi Pastoral is a bit confusing. Where do you buy tickets? 😂 This guide is a route I think is pretty good. Mingshi Pastoral actually refers to an area of 20–30 km around Mingshi Village. No tickets are required to visit. I think the charm of this attraction is the pastoral scenery in the morning. I go for a run every morning here. It's amazing! 🎫 Tickets: Free 🕐 Recommended time: Morning is the best time to visit 🔘 Recommended location: Xingfu Bridge (Yulin Dam is really average) ❤ Recommended route: My route is a morning run route. The mountains there are not high, standing on the earth, stretching across the fields, a quiet fairyland. The scenery of the countryside should be synonymous with peace and nature, but this time I came to Ming Shi Tian Yuan, it really discouraged me... 1️⃣ Fees everywhere The location of Ming Shi Tian Yuan is generally accessible by car. Parking on the side of the road costs 10 yuan, even for electric bikes in some places. Renting an electric bike costs 30 yuan/hour for two people and 50 yuan/hour for three people, which I personally feel is a bit expensive. 2️⃣ Difficulty in getting a meal On holidays, the farmhouses in the scenic area are basically full. During peak hours, it may take about 1 hour for the food to be served. Maybe because of the taste, the farmhouse dishes here are really not to my liking... 3️⃣ The scenic area needs improvement Here, the main activities are car rental and cycling, but the road repairs are not very smooth. Taking a bamboo raft, there is a guide on the boat, snacks and tea, but the scenery on both sides of the river is average. In the evening, there is no other entertainment, just enjoy the countryside in peace. After this experience, I really recommend against Ming Shi Tian Yuan, but the accommodation conditions here may be more comfortable than other scenic areas nearby.

A niche tourist destination for National Day - Chongzuo.

Every year during the National Day Golden Week, all tourist attractions are packed with visitors, especially famous ones. I hate crowds. To avoid them, I searched online for a long time and finally found a niche destination - Chongzuo. Although not as famous as Guilin, Chongzuo's scenery is just as beautiful. Chongzuo is located in southwestern Guangxi, bordering the provincial capital Nanning and Vietnam. Due to time constraints, I only chose a few attractions, including Anping Xianhe, Mingshi Tianyuan, Detian Transnational Waterfall, Jingxi Goose Spring, and Gulongshan Grand Canyon. Among these attractions, the most famous is the Detian Transnational Waterfall. It also attracts the most visitors, so be sure to arrive early! We arrived at the visitor center hall around 7:00 am, and there were already 200-300 people in line. The scenic area officially opens around 8:00 am. After entering, remember to queue on the left to exchange for paper tickets. Do not queue on the right! Although the Anping Xianhe Scenic Area is not as well-developed, there are very few tourists. It is very cost-effective to find a local to charter a boat for only 200 yuan. The boat travels through the river, with beautiful scenery on both sides. The entire journey takes about 40 minutes, which is very pleasant. I think Goose Spring is just average. If you don't go to Jingxi, there's no need to go there. The waterfalls in Gulongshan Grand Canyon are not bad, and there is Tongling Waterfall next to them. If you have time, you can visit both. In general, Chongzuo does not have many tourists. If you want to find a place with few people and beautiful scenery during National Day, Chongzuo is a good choice.
