It is not difficult to drive to the waterfall by yourself~น้ำตกไทรโยคน้อย
When it comes to waterfalls in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, most people may have heard of the "Erawan Waterfall" located in the national park, but it is not convenient. It is a bit difficult to climb up to see all the waterfalls. It’s not more troublesome than driving by yourself!
Take the train in Bangkok and get off at Nam Tok station. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Namtok Sai Yok Noi/น้ำตกไทรโยคน้. It is a waterfall attraction that can be easily reached by lazy people. I think the risk is relatively low and it is suitable for everyone. Come here to play in the water, take beautiful photos, have a picnic... and more. The attractions are completely free and no tickets are required.
After getting off the train, you can enter along the track. A C56 steam train left over from World War II is preserved here for tourists to visit.
The towering trees block the sun, so the temperature in this area is basically cool and pleasant. In addition to waterfalls, there is also a terrain like a mountain stream. Both Thai locals and foreign tourists like to come here to play in the water and escape the heat. However, the water depth is not very deep, and children should be able to play in the water safely under the supervision of adults.
There are restaurants and small shops so you don’t need to bring food. There is a forest coffee shop, Saiyoknoi cafe, which uses all local alpine coffee beans and the espresso is delicious.

Sai Yok Noi Waterfall, Kanchanaburi.
Sai Yok Noi Waterfall is very beautiful with a lot of water flowing during this rainy season. The water is perfect for swimming, very cold and refreshing.💦🌊📍This is one of the most popular check-in spots right now. The hottest spot is the staircase where the waterfall flows through, which is very beautiful. The path up is easy to walk and not slippery at all. If you come early on a weekday, there aren't many people. Free admission‼️ Opens at 8:30 AM. This is another place I highly recommend visiting during the rainy season. It's not far from Bangkok and is easy to get to.

Sai Yok Noi Waterfall, Sai Yok District, is located in Sai Yok National Park. It also has another name called Khao Phang Waterfall. Many tourists visit this waterfall because it is easy to travel to. It is located on the main road from Thong Pha Phum to Sangkhla. We can walk from the road to it only 100 meters. It is a beautiful waterfall. The surrounding area is shady. It is a single-tiered waterfall that is not very big.
There are also many shops to provide services. It is also a rest stop, so it is not strange that this waterfall has a lot of tourists.

Get some rest and feel cool in Sai Yok
This is a king-sized waterfall. This location has been lauded in Thai songs and poems, and it was once visited by King Rama V. The falls are located within the Sai Yok Yai National Park, but they are three kilometers from the road, so plan on walking or riding a motorcycle to get there. You can swim in the river or glide down it between the sheer cliff faces. Truly this is a must visit place when you find yourself in Kanchanaburi, Thailand. You wouldn’t wanna miss it for sure.

A beautiful waterfall with free admission. Sai Yok Noi Waterfall (Khao Phang Waterfall)
A very beautiful waterfall. The color of the water is a little green. It's very beautiful. There are many places to play in the water and sit and relax. Plus, taking pictures with the waterfall is very beautiful.
If you come on a holiday, there may be a lot of people. 😁 We came in November. We also came on a weekday. So there weren't many people.
This may not be a very big waterfall. It has a beautiful minimalist style that invites you to play in the water and take pictures.

Take a Train Trip to Sai Yok Noi Waterfall
Sai Yok Noi Waterfall, also known as Khao Phang Waterfall, has been famous for a long time. It got its name because it formed on a limestone cliff that collapsed, creating a series of rocky steps at the base of the mountain. The water originates from a spring in the mountains and flows down a small stream, cascading over a limestone cliff about 30 meters high, spreading out over a sloping surface under the shade of various plant species. The stream is dotted with scattered bulrushes, creating an inviting atmosphere. The journey is very convenient as it is located next to the Kanchanaburi - Thong Pha Phum road, 65 kilometers from Kanchanaburi province, and 33 kilometers before reaching the national park. Alternatively, you can take a train starting from Thonburi Station and ending at Nam Tok Station in Tha Sao Subdistrict, about 500 meters from the waterfall.

Sai Yok Noi Waterfall [Sai Yok National Park] - Kanchanaburi
#VisitKanchanaburi
📍Address: Tha Sao Subdistrict, Sai Yok District / Kanchanaburi
💞 Recommended reason:
It is a single-tiered waterfall with clear water and a very nice atmosphere.
The path to the waterfall is about 100 m.
Shaded by large and small trees
Sai Yok Noi Waterfall
Also known as Khao Phang Waterfall
It has been a famous waterfall for a very long time.
The reason it is called Khao Phang Waterfall
is because it is on a limestone cliff
that collapsed and formed cascading rocks
Looking like a collapsed mountain
There is a pool at the bottom of the waterfall
It is a shallow waterfall
Children can play
There is a service to rent rubber rings to play in the water
At the point where there is a walkway up the stairs
On the right hand side, we will be able to walk and touch the waterfall from the cliff
This is limestone with a rough surface
So it is not very slippery to walk on
But some parts are slippery, so be careful when walking up

Take the train to Sai Yok Waterfall 🚞⛰️
Waterfall Tour Train Trip There is a tour train every Saturday and Sunday. The train leaves Bangkok at 6:30 a.m. It is recommended to call to book on the website or buy it at the station first. The tour train will stop at Chedi, Nakhon Pathom and continue the tour at the River Kwai Bridge and end at Sai Yok Noi Waterfall. Sai Yok Noi Waterfall, also known as Khao Phang Waterfall, is located in Sai Yok National Park, Kanchanaburi Province. It is another beautiful waterfall in Kanchanaburi. The area around the waterfall is beautiful and shady, especially during the rainy season when there is a lot of water, making it very enjoyable to play in the water. It is very worthwhile taking pictures and playing in the water. If you don't know where to go on vacation, I recommend you to relax your body and mind at the waterfall. 🥰🫶🏻✨ #waterfall #beautifulwaterfall #SaiYokNoiWaterfall
Chill With Rocky
Take a train to Sai Yok Noi Waterfall and enjoy the nature on both sides of the road.
🙏🏻For those who are bored of driving, today Biologirl invites you to take a relaxing train ride to Sai Yok Noi Waterfall.
🚂 The Death Railway, starting from Kanchanaburi Station - ending at Namtok Station 💦
🏞️When the train passes Krasae Cave, if you want to see a beautiful view, we recommend sitting on the left side of the train. During this curve, you will see the view of the Kwai Noi River and the train as it turns. Don't miss this shot! 🚞
💦🫧Our final destination is Namtok Station. Walk a little out of the station and you will see Sai Yok Noi Waterfall or Khao Phang Waterfall, which is located in the Sai Yok National Park. The waterfall itself is a collapsed limestone cliff. The source of the water is water that springs from the mountain and flows down various layers of limestone cliffs, about 35 meters high. It's great to sit and relax and take beautiful pictures.
🐓But if you're hungry, there are various shops in front of the waterfall where you can stop by to shop and eat without worrying about going hungry. It was an impressive trip.
⏰ The total travel time on the train was about 2 hours.
We didn't continue by train because we had a car pick us up at Namtok Station. The ticket price was 17 baht. 😳

Take a train to Sai Yok Noi Waterfall 🚞
If anyone is looking for a natural tourist attraction near Bangkok for a day trip, Kanchanaburi is a good choice. Taking a train to see the view along the way is another kind of fun. It will be a Kanchanaburi trip of the State Railway of Thailand. It is held every Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. The destination is Sai Yok Noi Waterfall. Along the way, we will stop at the Pathom Chedi in Nakhon Pathom Province, which will later be the Bridge over the River Kwai. Along the way, there are beautiful views of nature. When you reach the waterfall, there are many shops and restaurants to choose from. After Aim Thong, we went to play in the water. I recommend coming during the rainy season when the weather is not hot. The waterfall has cool water that is very inviting. It is a trip suitable for families as well. 🚞 #thailand #missnature #travel #SaiYokNoiWaterfall
