THE VACATIONER!
An inside look of the Pantheon
#rometrip
Pantheon is located in Roma center in Piazza della Rotonda near Trevi fountain. Pantheon is a Roman temple built to all gods. It is really a particular building that explains a lot of history and interesting things to learn especially if you like to understand more about ancientness.
The cost of the ticket is around 5 euro, but if you buy the guided tour it will cost around 25 euro. They also sell many packages, which will include the Pantheon 🏛️, Trevi Fountain ⛲️, and Spanish steps for about $30 dollars which is around 25 euro, so it is kinda convenient. However, if you like me you can kind explore many monuments for free as along as you have everything mapped down.

Precious Pantheon
One of the most famous sights in Rome, the Pantheon is a former Roman temple that is one of the few remaining buildings that have survived since ancient Roman times.
As the Pantheon is consecrated as a church, visiting the inside of the building is free, and queues may get long. Please prepare to arrive early or during less busy hours to be able to marvel as such a massive and beautiful building that was built almost 2000 years ago. Marvel at the ancient Pantheon in Rome
Your Roman adventure is never quite complete unless you visit the incredible Pantheon.
The Roman Pantheon is famous because it has the largest concrete dome in the world. The record has not been defeated by other domes until today although it has been 2000 years since the construction of the Pantheon.
with this impressive architecture and stately look,
the Piazza Della Rotonda is the name applied to call the square located at the front part of Roman Pantheon. Italy’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage has the right and responsibility to maintain and manage the building for it belongs to the state.

Pantheon Rome. Spectacular church.
The Basilica of the Pantheon is a church that has been consecrated to the catholic faith since the 13th of May 609 and since that date it has been uninterruptedly used to honour God, the private and public prayers of the faithful, and the Sunday celebration of the Eucharist, the sanctification of the Christian population through the sacraments.

The Amazing Pantheon in Rome
#eurotrip to #rome
A must see place in Rome is the Pantheon, “Temple of all Gods” which is perfectly hemispherical. What is interesting is that the diameter of the dome, 43 metres (142ft), and the distance from the floor to the top of the dome is exactly equal to its diameter.
Almost 2000 years after it was built, the Pantheon’s dome is still the world’s largest unreinforced concrete dome. The Pantheon is one of the best-preserved ancient Roman buildings and has been in continuous use throughout its history.
Since the 7th century, the Pantheon has been in use as a church dedicated to “St. Mary and the Martyrs”, also known as “Santa Maria Rotonda“.
The square in front of the Pantheon is called Piazza della Rotonda and there are a lot of nice cafes and restaurants for you to sit down and enjoy a nice coffee or a meal.

The Pantheon has art both ancient and modern. Along beside the angels of the Masters are art instillations by more current artists. What an honor it must be to get to show your works in this setting. I wonder what Raphael would have thought? #givethanks #pantheon

The ancient saying goes well. The consequence of not coming to Rome to see the Pantheon is that he was stupid when he came, and he was stupid when he went.
The Pantheon is one of the most important buildings in the world of architecture, both in Italy and around the world. It has a very important position in the history of architecture. The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence, Brunelleschi is the dome built with reference to the Pantheon. And the church of St. Francis of Paul in Naples was also built in the name of the Pantheon. There is another important point in
: Raphael's tomb, like Raphael's children's shoes can be tribute.

There are many Roman period buildings in Italy, the most complete of which is the Roman Pantheon. The building has a long history and was built in 27 BC. It has a history of more than 2,000 years and is a model of ancient Roman architecture. The main body of the Pantheon is a huge cylinder covered with a semi-circular dome. The top is open with a large circular hole. At different times of the day, the light is discharged from the top and shines in different positions in the temple, giving a kind of The sacred and solemn feeling is very shocking.

The obelisk towering over the entrance to Pantheon in the Piazza della Rotonda was originally from Ancient Egypt. The Romans installed it on a carved fountain base, and has a crucifix at its top. The complicated and superimposed appearance of this perfectly symbolizes the atmosphere of the pantheon. The Pantheon was once said by Michelangelo to be a design made by angels. The portico of the Pantheon features classical Greek columns, and the inside space is broad and vast, creating the sense that one is inside a perfect sphere. The only source of life surprisingly comes from the ceiling skylight. No matter how many times I visit, I will always lift up my head to look at the ray of light that emanates from the center of the hemispherical dome.

In mid-May, a super romantic rose petal rain is set to fall at the Pantheon in Rome!
Do you have plans to visit Rome, Italy in May? Don't miss the thousands of dreamy rose petals raining down at the Pantheon, a grand annual celebration that is both spectacular and extraordinarily beautiful, filled with a sense of the divine!
🌹Event Name: Pioggia delle rose, Pentecost at the Pantheon, Rome
📅Specific Date: The 50th day after Easter every year, which is May 19 this year
📖A little science pop:
The 50th day after Easter is celebrated with great fanfare as Pentecost Sunday. On this morning, a special ceremony is held at the Pantheon, and then rose petals are gently scattered into the Pantheon through that round opening.
➡️Guide to watching the rose petal rain at the Pantheon:
🎫Ticket Price: No need to buy tickets at all, the event is completely free
🕙Time of the Event: It starts at 10:30 in the morning, and about 1 hour later, the rose petal rain will begin to fall
🚶Queue Situation: Due to the super popularity of the event, you must queue up several hours before it starts. Last year, some people started queuing at 7 am! The Pantheon can accommodate about 500 people, and once it's full, no more can enter
🌹Details about the rose rain:
At that time, about six firefighters will climb to the top of the dome and sprinkle thousands of delicate red rose petals through the round opening of the Pantheon. The cathedral will then experience a romantic rain of rose petals until the entire floor is covered with those picturesque red petals.
If you happen to have the chance to catch this event, be sure to try and participate. It's definitely a sacred and beautiful moment not to be missed!

Taking a breath in the fast-paced rhythm, you will really fall in love with the slow life in Italy~ Italy Chapter 2
Italy is the birthplace of the Renaissance and also the country with the most world heritage sites in the world. The long history and culture make Italy one of the oldest and most charming countries in Europe. Whether it's the numerous historical civilization relics or the fascinating natural landscape, it attracts people from all over the world to travel here.
Travel Time🧭⏱️⏰
Italy is very suitable for travel all year round. July and August each year is the peak tourist season in Italy. At this time, the sunshine is sufficient, the rain is less, and friends who love sunbathing, seaside swimming and other outdoor sports can definitely have fun. Of course, the summer discount season during this period every year should not be missed. If you want to avoid the crowd and enjoy a leisurely vacation, you can choose to go in the relatively less crowded spring (April to May) and autumn (October to November). Winter is a great time for winter sports. You can go to the ski resorts in the northern Alps and the Apennines to enjoy the joy of skiing. At this time, southern Italy is very warm and also very suitable for travel.
What to wear for a trip to Italy🎽👗👚
It depends on your chosen travel time and location. Italy's summer is dry and the sun is strong, and it is cooler in the morning and evening. Carry a jacket with you in case you need it. Italy's winter is cold and rainy, so bring warm clothes and remember to bring an umbrella. In the snowy mountain areas in the north, even if you go in the summer, you need to bring enough clothes to resist the cold. On the contrary, in the Sicily area in the south, you may only need a jacket even in the severe winter. Of course, remember to check the local weather before departure and bring enough clothes according to the situation.
Some local taboosડ🌚ડ
1. Sneezing or coughing in front of others is considered impolite and annoying, so you should immediately say 'sorry' to the people around you. 2. In Italy, ladies are absolutely respected, especially in various social occasions, ladies are always given priority. At banquets, let the ladies eat first, and only when the ladies start to eat with a knife and fork can the gentlemen eat. 3. Italians avoid the number '13'. All house numbers, theater seat numbers, etc. are not allowed to have the number 13. 4. When giving souvenirs, don't give handkerchiefs, because handkerchiefs are considered ominous things used to wipe tears when loved ones part. 5. When giving flowers, avoid giving chrysanthemums, because the blooming season of chrysanthemums is when they sweep the graves; the branches and flowers of the flowers should be odd numbers. 6. More than 90% of Italians are Catholics. In order to show respect for religious beliefs, neither men nor women should wear shorts, short skirts or sleeveless shirts to visit churches or Catholic museums. 7. It is very common for Italians to be late for appointments. But if you have an appointment with an Italian, it is best to arrive a little earlier. Italians being late does not mean they can tolerate others being late. Arriving early at the appointment will also leave a good impression on the other party.

My visit to the Pantheon in Rome was an awe-inspiring journey into ancient architectural mastery. Located in the heart of the city, this iconic monument mesmerized me with its grandeur and unique design. As I stepped inside and looked up at the massive dome with its oculus, the play of light and the sense of space left me in wonder. The intricate details of the interior and the solemnity of the tomb of Raphael were moving. The Pantheon's central location and its accessible hours made it a cultural gem. It wasn't just a historic site; it was a tribute to Roman innovation and an enduring symbol of human creativity, leaving me captivated by its timelessness.

Pantheon, building in Rome that was begun in 27 BC by the statesman Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa, probably as a building of the ordinary Classical temple type—rectangular with a gabled roof supported by a colonnade on all sides. It was completely rebuilt by the emperor Hadrian sometime between AD 118 and 128, and some alterations were made in the early 3rd century by the emperors Septimius Severus and Caracalla. It is a circular building of concrete faced with brick, with a great concrete dome rising from the walls and with a front porch of Corinthian columns supporting a gabled roof with triangular pediment. Beneath the porch are huge bronze double doors, 24 feet (7 metres) high, the earliest known large examples of this type.

In the center of Rome, there is a fountain with a tall spire and a monument in the center. The base of the monument is carved with ancient Roman mythology (Fig. 9). This fountain is located at the Roman Pantheon.
The Pantheon is the only Roman Empire building that has been preserved to this day. It was built in 27-25 BC to worship the gods on Mount Olympia, a classic building from the Augustus period.
It was praised by Michelangelo as "the design of the angels". The huge hemispherical dome (Fig. 2) inside has not fallen for two thousand years and is definitely a miracle in the history of architecture.
The Pantheon is the temple where the gods are located. It has witnessed the changes in history. Several alcove offering temple-level figures, such as the tomb of the first king of Italy, Victor Emmanuel II (Fig. 7), Umberto I (figure 5) and the Italian Renaissance The tomb of the painter Raphael.
