Guo Ma Shabu Shabu Buffet 🥘

#schoolholidays I was craving for hot pot and we chanced upon Guo Ma Shabu Shabu at Paradigm Mall. It is really affordable only at RM55++ for an all you can eat buffet that includes, beef, pork, mutton, chicken, seafood and many other processed food kind of meat balls and fancy. We loved that it included nice drinks and ice cream, of course food! Everyone gets a maison cup of apple tea but you can later use it to refill other drinks. There are a variety of soup base and we could choose two since we had two pax. The restaurant is also very clean and spacious. We like that we got a four seater for two of us. Having ample of space for our dishes! The meal was so filling. The only think we refilled was drinks .

They have ranges of choices for Gyudon, Yakiniku, Yakitori, Teppanyaki and many more! Please try the chicken gyoza and kaarage chicken they were amazing! The one we went was at Paradigm Mall, JB. The service was fast and the food was great!

Paradigm Mall, situated at Johor Bahru 81200, has everything you needed for a good time. First stop, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC). Movie tickets were only RM12 (~S$3.87)! We caught Disney's Elemental and were blown away with the diney emotions. The theater was comfortable, cold (Which we like) and spacious After the movie, we went to Kinsahi Japanese Restaurant, located at Lot 3F-18. The yaki soba was shiok and satisfying, especially when they served it on a hot stone to keep it crispy and hot. And the sashimi in the raw bowl was freshyoo. The only thing was, they forgot our tempura order and served it a bit later. For dessert we went to Daily Fresh Yoghurt at Lot K-26, Level 4. heard and read about this place from fellow trip.Com posters and decided to give it a try since it’s raining and difficult to visit those coffee shops and Food courts along shophouses. took a rm5 grab ride from the point boutique hotel on a weekday after checkout and headed straight to this cafe which we have been wanting to try. chose a table overlooking the skating rink on 3F, the toddler was excited to get her baby chair while watching what’s happening in the rink. mobile scanning of QR code was the fastest way to order our food while hubby browsed through the manual menu. Hainanese curry rice was appetising for me but unlike the usual hainese curry. steam bread was fabulous and mee rebus / fried bee Hoon was average. drinks were ok but we like it that there’s option to choose customising of food (eg. less sweet, kaya, butter). we were too full to try mixue after that. #境外遊 #urbanexplorer #foodie #cafe #bucketlistreboot

Paradigm Mall, Lot 22 & 23, Level 3, Johor, Malaysia The Dubuyo is a halal Korean restaurant. The food served in the restaurant uses chicken and beef instead of pork to make authentic Korean dishes. The restaurant is very conducive and has lots of seats. It is a good place for a group of friends or a family with children to dine in. The restaurant provides an extensive menu. From set lunch to ala carte choices. The set meals seems to be more worth as it comes with a set of few dishes. They range from a bowl of rice, chicken or beef meat as the main dish, deserts, and free flow of side dish of the day. The price is very affordable too. There is another paradigm mall in Kuala Lumpur. I have been to the one at Kuala Lumpur. It was smaller than the one at Johor Bahru. The mega paradigm mall is really very huge and spectacular. There are plenty of drop off points, which look very similar to the ones at the Changi airport. In addition, there are many security guards patrolling the place to ensure the safety of the visitors. There are thousands of shops and even a blue Ice skating rink within the mall. The mall is definitely suitable for all to come. situated next to one end of the building next to the lift lobby (take the lift up from uniqlo entrance), it’s our first try at this place just in time to satisfy our ktv craving without travelling to Austin heights. rm20 per hour for a small room which is more than enough for 2 adults and a toddler, 2 microphone covers will be given once you pay up for your room. the registration counter also acts as a snack bar where you can purchase small bites and drinks to bring into your room. sound system was ok and somehow the colorful little rooms reminds me of Australia bathing houses. #urbanexplorer #境外遊 #passionpassport

The gardening section located inside the daiso was a big section. There are a wide range of flower pots, with different sizes and shapes. They even have those ceramic ones and the light plastic type. The price is less than 6myr. You can buy the smaller pots that comes in a bundle for your seeds germination. The medium ones to transplant and separate them when their first true leaves emerged. Utopia Jungle world Children Theme park is definitely their must go place to visit during their trip to the Johor Bahru. Utopia not only allowed the children to have a playful day, they also helped to bring out their creativity talent within them. They also get to learn new things by participating in the events. Apart from the interactive slides, bumper cars, they also can purchase a blank carton art, and use their creativity to beautify the workpiece and bring it back to show their parents. Price per Person - Ringgit 10-20 max! Rating - Went on a Thursday 1pm, eatery had a few tables occupied but not busy. Food We ordered via scanning qr: kaya butter toast was so savoury! Soft boiled eggs fresh and slurpy, dry curry chicken bee hoon on point with just the right balance of spiciness and nt too greasy, and herbal chicken was immersed in super flavourful sauce and so nice eaten with rice! We ended off the satisfying yet so affordable meal(RM36 for all items!) w thick hainanese milk tea. Definitely worth to visit to have local delights that doesn't leave a dent in wallet at all. Common sense has lots of cute cartoon tees for you or your kids! Also there is padini which sells really trendy and fashionable clothing at very affordable prices. Do check out paradigm mall if you haven’t! Can buy lots of things here and shop around and there are also sports shops here

#myhiddengems Paradigm mall is super huge and there’s lot of food options over here. First off there is famous Amos and I love buying their cookies back home. It’s delicious and prices slightly lower than locally. There is also llaollao and I love getting deserts over here. Cold stone is another cool dessert place. Bubble tea lovers can get koi here as well! And for those who love cakes, there is also chateraise over here.

Golden Screen cinemas

#myhiddengems During my time in Johor Bahru I watched a movie at the golden screen cinemas at paradigm mall. The movie selection here is huge and seats are actually super comfortable! Prices are also cheaper than local ones. The movie timings were also good and there were plenty to choose from (for more popular movies). Do check this place out if you are in Johor Bahru! Suggest catching a movie amidst all the eating and shopping here.

Mid autumn deco

#myhiddengems Visited paradigm mall and was In awe when I saw the mid autumn decorations in this shopping mall at Johor Bahru, Malaysia. It is so pretty and I reached when the mall just opened so it was very quiet and you can stand here to take some nice photos without any crowds or people in the background. The place is just decorated nicely and gives off a nice vibes. Recommend taking some cute pictures here with your family

JB locals favourite restaurant

This is perhaps one of the more hip and popular restaurants that is frequent by JB locals? Reasons: good ambience, affordable price, and tasty asian meals. This is Manzanita Bakery and cafe at Paradigm mall. They are famous for their signature croissants but when serving they could have toasted it more for the pastries to be more crispy. Mains wise, we opt for the pumpkin chicken rice and the laksa. Laksa is fragrant while the pumpkin chicken is creamy. Do note that water is not complimentary and chargeable. Service is ok. Definitely wouldn't mind dining in again! #travelanywhere

A Deliciously Fun Family Affair: Vivo Pizza Hits the Spot!

#malaysiatrip I took my kids to Vivo Pizza at Paradigm Mall for lunch, and we had a fantastic experience! The vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff immediately put us at ease. The kids loved the variety of toppings and watching their pizzas being made. The food was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned - we devoured every bite! The kids' menu was a great touch, and the prices were reasonable. Vivo Pizza is a great spot for families, with something for everyone. We left full and happy, already planning our next visit!

I love food! Who doesn't?

I love food! I love the texture—the velvety softness of rising bread dough—the smells, the look and the taste! It was our first time here at Vivo! Given this I guess it’s natural that I would love restaurants. I love the way they look, I love getting together with my husband and enjoying a meal together. And I love the way the restaurant holds out. Grabbed a few macarons for takeaway! experiences.

#thingstodo When we were visiting Paradigm Shopping Mall in Johor Bahru Malaysia, we decided to try Arashi Shabu Shabu restaurant for dinner - a casual, family friendly hot pot joint with mid level pricing. Pricing was affordable, and the variety was great. There were almost 10 types of soup bases to choose from and you get to cook your own individual hot pot. Highly recommended as you will not be disappointed! My rating: 4 ⭐️ out of 5!

A&W and lotsa more at jb paradigm mall

A mall with wide walks and many kids play, we visit this place almost monthly since our tcm is there. Finally tasted my long awaited A&W though the coney dog and fries with meat are too salty for our liking. There were A&W bears for purchase too, which delighted the toddlers. Don’t forget to sign up for their wct membership which you can scan receipts after spending, and exchange for a mooncake last month. Christmas snowfall and fun paradigm mall jb

It’s Xmas again and paradigm mall Johor Bahru is always full of activities and fun! Though we didn’t get to see the snowfall on a weekday, we had fun with dinosaurs and loaning their stroller at a deposit if rm30. After the toddler wants to come down and play with dinosaurs rides and Abandon the stroller, it became our bags trolley instead, so sorry about that. Bouncing castle, dinosaur rides, arts and craft corner and Mini bumper cars are all at the corner of Upper Ground above uniqlo. A grab from Ksl costs around rm18 and the trip back to city square in the evening costs around rm26. You will be amazed by the number of Apparels stores there are in the paradigm mall. Big brands such as h and m are located there too. You can spend the entire day shopping for clothing for your new year next year. They have clothing for men, women, children, and pregnant women. Telecom Atrium Roadshow

During my trip to the paradigm mall, there is an ongoing event at the level 1 atrium. The booth is by one of the Malaysian telecoms, which is the celcom. Similar to Singapore, we do have a telecom roadshow to promote their packages and ongoing promotions. Unlike the ones in Singapore, the celcom has set up a few games to attach the customer into coming in to have a round of game. This seems to be a great idea. At the same time, you can experience how fast the speed of the internet is when you are playing the game, and spot whether there is any lagging in loading the game. The road show works as the game seems to be attracting quite a number of young adults. #celebratewithtrip #tripblazers
