Phuket | This is the hotel of a lifetime for so many people.
Phuket | This is the hotel of a lifetime for so many people🏨
🙋🏻♀️It was my first time in Phuket. I didn't originally plan to stay in Patong, but I couldn't resist this forest-style hotel! Plus, it's under the InterContinental brand, so I felt reassured. The price was also good, so I booked it without hesitation!
😔My only regret is that I didn't stay in the hotel every day. I only realized how much I appreciated it in the last two days. Sunbathing and swimming in the hotel in the afternoon, getting a spa treatment in the evening, sitting at the outdoor bar or on the balcony... it was our ideal vacation.
Food✅: The breakfast was average, but the fruit was freshly cut by the staff, which was a nice touch. We had three meals at the hotel, which were much better than the food outside and not expensive. We could eat well for an average of 100 per person. There were many options for Thai, Western, and Indian food.
Facilities✅: The hotel was built in 2018 and is well maintained. There's also a unique small elevator.
Service✅: The air conditioning was turned on before we checked in, and there was a detailed check-in introduction and welcome chocolate. There's also a daily shuttle bus to the beach or mall, which can be reserved for pick-up and drop-off. The spa costs CNY 300 per person per hour, which I think is worth it. It was a very happy hour.
Location❗️: It's average. It's on a slope, so it's a bit of a hassle and hot to walk up and down every day! It's a ten-minute walk to Patong Beach, but it's very close to the mall and seafood market.
Price✅: We booked a room for early September a month in advance. The standard rooms range from about 800-1,100, and the sea view pool villas are about 2,300. The price is very good. A hotel of the same standard in Sanya would start at 1,500. Phuket is really suitable for hotel stays!!
🏨Dinso Resort, fun and playful, I'll come again next time❤️

Phuket, Thailand’s largest island, is renowned for its stunning beaches, vibrant nightlife, and rich cultural heritage. Nestled in the Andaman Sea, Phuket boasts an array of breathtaking beaches, each with its unique charm. Patong Beach is the most famous, known for its bustling atmosphere, water sports, and vibrant nightlife. For a more tranquil experience, Kata Beach and Karon Beach offer beautiful stretches of sand and crystal-clear waters, perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Kamala Beach is another gem, featuring a laid-back vibe and stunning sunset views. For those seeking adventure, Freedom Beach is a hidden treasure, accessible only by boat or a steep trail, providing a peaceful escape surrounded by lush greenery. My stay is at Avista Grande Karon Beach, you’ll be ideally located to enjoy Karon Beach’s serene atmosphere while having easy access to the lively activities and attractions nearby.
Key attractions in Phuket extend beyond its beaches. Big Buddha, a towering 45-meter-tall statue, sits atop Nakkerd Hill and offers panoramic views of the island. The vibrant old town of Phuket, with its colorful Sino-Portuguese architecture, showcases the island’s historical charm. Visitors can explore local markets, art galleries, and quaint shops while enjoying traditional street food. Phang Nga Bay, famous for its limestone cliffs and emerald-green waters, is best explored by boat, with James Bond Island being a popular stop due to its appearance in the film The Man with the Golden Gun.
Located in the Andaman Sea, Phuket enjoys a tropical climate, making it a year-round destination. However, the best time to visit is from November to February, when the weather is cooler and less humid, ideal for outdoor activities and beach lounging. The monsoon season, which runs from May to October, brings heavy rains, particularly in September and October, but this is also a great time for quieter beaches and lower prices.
Phuket is a seafood lover’s paradise, with an abundance of fresh catch available at local markets and beachfront restaurants. Visitors can indulge in a variety of dishes, from grilled fish and spicy shrimp salad to the famous Tom Yum Goong (spicy shrimp soup) and Pad Thai. The island’s night markets, such as the Phuket Weekend Market, offer an array of seafood delicacies, allowing travelers to savor the flavors of the sea in a vibrant atmosphere.

A complete guide for first-time visitors to Phuket. Save it for later!
Phuket, located in the Andaman Sea in southern Thailand, is the largest island in Thailand and the smallest province. Phuket is known as the pearl of the Andaman Sea for its charming scenery and rich tourism resources. Phuket is located in the tropics and has a humid tropical climate. It is summer all year round. From April to September each year, when the sun is directly above the equator, it is the rainy season in Phuket, especially in May, when it rains almost every day.
1. Accommodation: Phuket's tourism industry is mature, with complete accommodation facilities and a wide range of types. From beaches to towns, from five-star hotels to backpacker budget hotels, it can meet the choices of different tourists. Among them, Patong Beach has the most accommodation options. The nightlife here is rich and colorful, and there are many shopping and dining options, so it is very popular. This is also the cheapest beach in Phuket, and it costs about 2,000 baht to stay in a beach hotel here for one night. 4-5 star hotels cost about 4,000~6,000 baht. During the off-peak tourist season, you can enjoy a 40%-50% discount. There are fewer budget hotels here, most of them are a bit far from the coast, and the room rate is about 300 baht/room.
2. Transportation: On the island, you can choose public transportation such as taxis, double cars (ie minibuses) and motorcycles. In addition, renting a motorcycle or car is also a more free choice. Please pay attention to local traffic rules and precautions.
3. Itinerary planning:
- Day 1: Arrival and beach exploration. After arriving in Phuket, you can first go to your chosen accommodation to check in and take a break. Then, you can go to the nearest beach, such as Patong Beach or Bob Beach, to enjoy the sun and beach. In the evening, you can stroll along the beach and enjoy the beautiful sunset.
- Day 2: Explore Phuket Town and cultural heritage. On the second day, you can visit the main city of Phuket, Phuket Town. There are many temples of historical value here, such as Phuket Temple and Fairy Temple. You can also visit the market in Phuket Town to experience the local atmosphere.
- Day 3: One-day tour of the outlying islands. Phuket has many beautiful outlying islands, such as Phi Phi Island, Similan Island, etc. You can participate in a one-day tour to go snorkeling, diving or enjoy the beach on these outlying islands.
- Day 4: One-day tour around the island. In the inland of Phuket, you can pack a car, find the most local food, and visit the most charming scenery. You can visit Phuket's waterfalls, mountain tribes and agricultural areas to experience local culture and lifestyle.
4. Precautions: When traveling in Phuket, please pay attention to sun protection, bring sunscreen and sun hat. At the same time, please respect local culture and customs and abide by local laws and regulations. When tasting local food, please pay attention to food safety and avoid food poisoning.

Phuket Accommodation Guide, How to Choose from 4 Popular Areas?
Phuket's 4 popular accommodation areas:
⭐ Patong Beach: Phuket's Center | Lively Nightlife | Rich Entertainment Life
A mature tourist gathering place, with a row of hotels along the coastline, which is quite convenient. There are many spa massage shops, restaurants, cabaret shows, Muay Thai performances, and night markets, etc. The commercial atmosphere is very strong, and the beach is average.
⭐ Karon Beach: Surfer's First Choice | Blue Water and White Sand | Long Beach
The coastline is long and is one of the longest beaches in Phuket. The sea is azure and has fine white sandy beaches. There are not many water activities, and the atmosphere is more relaxed. The popular cliff cafes and cliff restaurants are built on the mountains of Karon Beach, where you can overlook the entire long coastline of Karon.
⭐ Kata Beach: Beautiful Sunset | Scenery | Surfing Spot
One of the best spots in Phuket to watch the sunset, with many entertainment options, close to Kata Night Market. Right at the entrance is the smart bus, adjacent to Karon Beach, about a 5-minute drive.
⭐ Phuket Town: Old Town | Michelin Food | Colorful Buildings
Various South Asian style colorful buildings, great for photography! Very suitable for shopping, check-in the same store as in the drama 'In Love'. There are also many Michelin-recommended restaurants in town, you can go to the night market and slowly experience the local culture here.

A trip to Phuket Island has changed my view of Thailand
I used to think Thailand was all superstitious and not as interesting as European culture, so I was never really interested in traveling there. However, my friends kept recommending how fun Thailand could be. Taking advantage of the recent reopening, I chose to give Phuket a try.
The result was that Phuket really surprised me.
The beauty of the Similan Islands is indescribable, and seeing the jelly-like sea for the first time completely healed me! Sitting on a beach chair, sipping coconut water, listening to the waves, and getting a Thai massage after a day of eating and wandering was just too comfortable and pleasant! The value for a 2-hour hot stone and essential oil massage for 200 is too good!
Before going, I was also worried that after three years, they might take advantage of tourists and treat Chinese people differently, but most of the locals I met were actually very warm-hearted, kind, and simple.
I encountered a fruit shop owner who ran a long way to catch up with a few Chinese girls, shouting in Thai that they couldn't understand, to give them the fruit they had bought but forgotten to take; on the day I left, the driver arranged for my airport transfer took a long detour along Kata-Karon-Patong Beach to let me see the sunset by the sea as we drove to the airport.
One or two heartwarming incidents during a trip can fill the entire journey with warmth and emotion, and sprinkle sunshine over the memories of these short five days.
My body has returned, but my heart remains in Thailand.
MAGNOLIA COPELAND
Not visiting these places in Phuket, Thailand is like not having been there at all (with guide)
Thailand has thousands of islands, but I still chose to come back to Phuket,
although it's not as niche as Elephant Island, nor as pristine as Lanta,
the diversity of Phuket really makes for a joyful experience!
-
In Phuket, besides enjoying the sea, there are multiple long coastline beaches,
if you like quiet, you can find a sea-view hotel to stay for a day,
spend a leisurely afternoon at a nearby seaside cafe,
Or you can walk around Phuket Town to feel the market culture of the town,
see Phuket's oldest temple, Wat Chalong,
and in the evening, enjoy a relaxing Thai massage.
For those who like lively activities, you can go for jungle zip-lining,
or island-hopping and snorkeling,
there are several night markets in Phuket that are cheap and delicious,
for those who love shopping, Jungceylon, Central Festival, and Big C are really all worth a rush!

Official announcement of permanent visa exemption! Enter summer in a second! This hot island that is only 4 hours away by direct flight~
Phuket is very familiar to everyone, the three major beaches here are Patong Beach, Karon Beach, and Kata Beach, which are crowded with all kinds of tourists. Although the three major beaches are beautiful, they are too noisy for those seeking tranquility. In fact, many other beaches in Phuket are also worth visiting!
For example, Mai Khao Beach, which has the longest coastline in Phuket, where you can quietly walk and enjoy the romantic sunset! It does not have the commercialization and vanity of the three major beaches, but it is full of vitality, small crabs, sea turtles, and the sea breeze are all evidence of the never-ending summer!
✈️Preparation before departure: passport, printed wine order, phone card, UnionPay savings card, carry cash 2000 rmb per person or 1w Thai baht per person
🏠 Accommodation: We chose to stay near Patong Beach, which is convenient for travel and has many places to eat and play. The hotel is very satisfied. There are two 711s within a hundred meters from the door, and the popular small hot pot is on the right side of the hotel.
👏Coming to Phuket, you must see the sea. Phuket has three major beaches, and it is very convenient to rent a car. You can rent a car for a half-day island tour (Patong Beach→Karon Beach→Kata Beach→Promthep Cape to watch the sunset)
1️⃣Kata Beach (Among the three major beaches, Kata is the favorite, with blue water, white sand, and relatively calm sea surface, suitable for lazing around)
2️⃣Karon Beach (Blue water, big waves, suitable for surfing)
3️⃣Patong Beach (The sea water is more turbid compared to the previous two, and there are the most water activities)
👏The second way to see the sea is to go out to sea🌊
✅Coral Island + Emperor Island Day Tour
The day tour reported on 🍑, only over a hundred per person, feels great, the itinerary is not rushed, very leisurely, plenty of time to play, snorkeling🤿, the sea water of Emperor Island is very blue, it is a jelly sea, but the waves are big, surfing is top-notch, Coral Island is not bad, basically no waves, soaking in the sea is too comfortable.
✅Similan Islands Day Tour
The farthest and most tossing among the island hopping tours, but it's really beautiful, white sandy beach🏖️jelly sea🌊, there are two snorkeling🤿. Depart from the hotel at six in the morning to the pier⛵️, arrive at Similan Island at about ten, and the play time is relatively short, not recommended for those with children.
✅There are also Phi Phi Island and Egg Island. The sea water of Phi Phi Island is green, with snorkeling, and there is a feeling of Guilin landscape, with mountains and seas. Egg Island is very close to Phuket Island, suitable for parent-child travel, many small fish, the beach is gentle, and the water is relatively shallow.
👏Coming to Phuket, you must go to the night market
1️⃣Phuket Old Street Weekend Night Market (Sunday 16:00-22:00)
If time can be arranged, you must go to this night market, which is very characteristic and has a great atmosphere. There are all kinds of food and fun. It is recommended to go early, the evening is more photogenic, there is sunset, the street is full of colorful lights, the bustling street, colorful architectural street.
2️⃣NAKA Night Market (Saturday and Sunday 17:00-22:00)
This night market is relatively cheaper than other night markets, a local night market, large in scale, with two areas for eating and shopping, with various special delicacies, and live resident singing.
3️⃣Frog Night Market🐸 (Monday to Saturday 17:00-23:00)
Very photogenic, with live resident singing, high face value, a variety of things are relatively complete, more tourists, the food is relatively expensive, but it is lively and the atmosphere is also good.

Phuket, Thailand: A travel experience that leaves you speechless
Phuket Island·Phuket Province is the only island in Thailand that has been granted provincial status, enjoying a reputation as a pleasant holiday destination. The island has a pure environment, with a total area of 576 square kilometers, and a tropical monsoon climate.
🌲Attraction Information:
November to April each year is the best time to visit Phuket.
🌸Recommended Travel Time:
🎀DAY1: Airport➡Karon Beach
When you come to Phuket, go to the beach to sunbathe! Rent an umbrella and two beach chairs for 200 baht! Then you can take beautiful photos. In the evening, we strolled around the streets near the beach and found a lot of delicious food.
🎀DAY2: Phuket Town ➡Patong Beach·Phuket Island
Patong is more lively, with a bustling bar street. There are also many good shops and delicious snacks.
🎀DAY3: Out to sea
On the third day, we went to Emperor Island and Coral Island, and booked the Silver Soul, the experience was very good! The space on the boat is very large, the tour guide takes good care of people, and the snorkeling coach treats each person very carefully.
🎀DAY4: Return
DAY4 is the return journey, before leaving, we bought a lot of Thai snacks at 711 to take away~ Super reluctant to leave, will definitely come to Thailand again!
✨Travel Tips:
❶ ✈️Preparation before departure: passport, print machine wine order, phone card, UnionPay savings card, carry cash 2000 rmb per person or 10,000 baht per person
❷🌊Going out to sea, it is recommended that everyone prepare a waterproof phone bag in advance, do not buy it in Thailand, bring it from China, the waterproof bag in Thailand is just a plastic bag, completely not waterproof.
❸🏠 Accommodation: We chose to stay near Patong Beach, convenient for travel, and there are many things to eat and play. Very satisfied with the hotel, less than a hundred meters away from the door there are two 711s, the right side of the hotel is the net red small hot pot.
❹🚗Taxi: grab, bolt app, taxi is really cheap, bind payment method in advance at home
🍀Experience Review:
✅Coral Island and Emperor Island: There are many sea projects, many swings for taking pictures, very good, can go together
✅Patong Beach/Karon Beach/Kata Beach: Free, the three are not very far apart, basically strolled together, suitable for taking pictures, looking at the scenery, finding a small shop to have a drink and chat is very comfortable
⭐️Travel Feelings:
It's really suitable for leisurely lying here, waking up naturally to eat a meal, then riding a motorcycle to the beach or a nice coffee shop, swimming for a while, watching the sunset in the evening.

At the beach, time pauses, and serenity takes
Yes, Potong Beach in Phuket is great for just relaxing! The soft sand and the vast shoreline provide a perfect setting for a leisurely stroll. Especially during sunrise or sunset, it can be incredibly beautiful and serene. Just be mindful of the tides and avoid walking too close to the water during high tide to ensure an enjoyable walk.
To get to Potong Beach in Phuket from the town area, you can take a taxi, a tuk-tuk, or rent a scooter. Taxis are the most convenient but might be pricier, while tuk-tuks are cheaper but might require some negotiation on the fare. Scooter rentals offer flexibility but ensure you're comfortable riding in traffic and have the required license.
Foodie? No worries! There are variety of food options available. You'll find beachfront restaurants, bars, and cafes offering both local Thai cuisine and international dishes. Fresh seafood is often a highlight, but there's a range of choices to suit different tastes and preferences. From casual beachside snacks to full-course meals, you'll have plenty to choose from while enjoying your time at Potong Beach.#BeachParadise #beachlife #Phuket

The city that is filled with Adventure
We stayed 5 days 4 night at Phuket and this place offer wonderful beaches and good.
We stayed at Phuket old town, Karon beach and the famous patong beach as well. All 3 area has given us a different taste of what Phuket can offer.
The highlight of the trip was the famous elephant reserve sanctuary located in the middle of Phuket near to patong beach. This beautiful place preserve the nature of elephant and give them a safe haven place to roam around.
Thou it’s at the pricy side per pax around 150usd. You get to spend the day with these majestic animal and learn more about how animal cruelty impacted their life and understand what’s need to be done to protect them.
Overall, I have learn so much more in Phuket about the nature compare to other places and I will definitely return here again!

Patong Beach in Thailand
Patong Beach is the most popular and famous beach of Phuket island in Thailand. It is well-maintained, with clean facilities and plenty of shade options.
The vibrant atmosphere along the shoreline is infectious, with a plethora of beach bars, restaurants, and shops offering a wide variety of delicious food and unique souvenirs. The stunning sunset views were simply breathtaking, painting the sky with vibrant hues that left me in awe.
It's important to be mindful when walking on the beach. One thing to note is that there may be oil beneath the sand, which can potentially ruin your shoes or slippers. It's advisable to pay attention to where you step and be cautious to avoid any unfortunate mishaps.

Sun, sand, rain and smiles: Phuket unveiled
Patong is a vibrant beach town in Phuket, Thailand, offering a mix of excitement and relaxation. The lively nightlife with numerous bars and clubs caters to partygoers, while the beautiful sandy beaches provide a serene escape. However, it can get crowded and noisy. Street vendors, restaurants, and shops offer a variety of options, but haggling is common. Beware of tourist traps and inflated prices. The local culture is rich, and nearby attractions like Big Buddha and Phi Phi Islands are worth exploring. Overall, Patong is ideal for those seeking a bustling beach destination with a taste of Thai culture.#patongbeach #phuket #thailand #beaches

Paradise Unveiled: A 6-Night Journey through Enchanting Phuket
During my 6-night trip to Phuket, I had the pleasure of experiencing some truly unforgettable moments with my partner. Phuket offers a multitude of romantic experiences that are perfect for couples seeking a memorable getaway. Here are some of my top recommendations:
Private Beach Picnic: Arrange a private beach picnic for you and your partner. Select a secluded spot on one of Phuket's beautiful beaches and indulge in a delicious spread of gourmet treats while relishing in the serenity of the surroundings. It's an intimate experience that will create lasting memories.
Couples Spa Retreat: Treat yourselves to a rejuvenating couples' spa retreat. Phuket boasts world-class spas that offer a range of indulgent treatments. Enjoy a relaxing massage side by side or opt for a pampering spa package that includes facials, body scrubs, and aromatic baths, leaving you both feeling completely blissed out.
Romantic Dinner on the Beach: Surprise your partner with a romantic dinner on the beach. Many resorts and restaurants offer private dining experiences right on the shoreline. With the sound of the waves, flickering candlelight, and a delectable menu of Thai or international cuisine, it's an idyllic setting for a romantic evening.
Phuket truly provides the perfect backdrop for a romantic couple's experience. The combination of breathtaking scenery, romantic activities, and warm Thai hospitality will make your trip an unforgettable one.

Patong Beach.
✅We belong to lazy travelers, mainly switching hotels for fun.
✅Patong Beach is like a paradise for our family of three, with so much delicious food and fun activities. We previously stayed at the Amari Resort and spent three days in complete relaxation mode, but after moving to Patong Beach, we started having a happy time.
✅Our hotel, Phuket Bura Resort, is very close to Patong Beach. The beach is just 50 meters away from the hotel, and there are various restaurants, pharmacies, and massage shops nearby, including a 7-Eleven. The hotel is located on the main street, making it convenient to go anywhere.
✅Every day we go to Two Brothers Restaurant for meals. The taste is really good and suits our taste. The price is also reasonable, around 1000 pigs per meal, which is not bad considering how much we eat and drink.
✅We didn't go to the bar street at night, it's not suitable with kids, we just passed by and took some photos.
✅Every night we will have a small drink at the bar across from Patong Beach.
✅Currently, my impression of Thailand is quite good. I will definitely go back again when the airfare is cheaper.
❤️Recommended hotels with good location in Patong Beach:
1️⃣ Burasari Hotel
2️⃣Phuket Holiday Hotel
⏰Suggested duration of visit: 3 days
🌸Recommended restaurant:
☑️Two Brothers Restaurant
📌Tips:
1️⃣Take measures to prevent sunburn and mosquito bites.
2️⃣Protect your belongings and personal safety.
3️⃣Go to a less remote place and stay away from the place where they sell 🍃.
4️⃣Use Bolt or Grab for taxi rides.

A new Balinese-style café has opened in Phuket 🏝️.
🏖️📸 The Cozy Cafe Phuket, located on a stunning beachfront with an unobstructed 180-degree view of the sea, has just reopened in the Tri Trang area. The Balinese-style decoration is cozy and harmonious, and there are plenty of photo opportunities.
🦄🍽️ The Cozy Cafe Phuket offers a full range of Thai and Western cuisine, breakfast, and healthy options, all at reasonable prices. The food is delicious, and we particularly love the cute glassware design. However, to receive a free glass, you must order both food and drinks, with a minimum spending of 500 baht.
⏰ Opening hours: 10:00-21:00.

SHOULD YOU VISIT PATONG, PHUKET THAILAND?🇹🇭
📍Patong, Phuket
3 Nights in Patong. And after 3 nights, I have deciphered that Patong is only good for: Shopping.
Although there are lots of activities to do, it seems as though you would be paying double in Patong, compared to other parts of Thailand.
As anticipated before arrival, what I felt Patong mainly lacked was the feeling of adventure & culture, unless you wanted to pay lots of dolla 💸
Nevertheless, we spent our days on a gorgeous rooftop pool, having the typical relaxed ‘holiday’ - even though, we’re now a month into our travels!
