Road trip to Pattaya (from BKK)

We rented a car in Bangkok for a day and decided to go all the way to Pattaya for day trip You can drive in thailand as long as you have your international driver license. So started our day with a quick breakfast in BKK, we stopped by Jaekoy restaurant. Famous among the locals, it was recommended by my friend who resided in BKK and they’re famous for their somtum (papaya salad). Affordable price and good food💛 Then we drove for 2 hours to Pattaya beach Next destination is Banlay Home cafe, a small gorgeous cafe with view of the sea. Price was slightly higher but the food and drink were good. After that, we went to aesthetically pleasing beachfront restaurant called Glass house boho. Ordered their signature cocktails. Enjoyed their sunset. Every corner is very instagrammable Finally, we had dinner at Krua rom mai thai , a local halal thai restaurant before we head back to Bangkok. Location : Glass house boho, Pattaya Amazing venue as it is located next to the beach. However, the music is quite loud and the price is quite expensive. We ended up ordering some drinks (beer and mocktails) while we enjoyed the sunset of the day. Then we moved to other restaurant for dinner. Overall, it’s worth to try. Going to Pattaya must go to the sky to see the glass sea, the sea and the sky are beautiful, the free travel guide is as follows↓. 1Take a bus from Bangkok to Pattaya 2Pattaya hotel can be chosen near Pattaya Walking Street (It's better to be two or three streets away from the red light district, it's a bit unbearable when the red light district is crazy at night) ③Take a taxi to Pattaya pier and find a speedboat to Koh Larn at any pier. I bargained to 800 Thai packs and sent us to the beach by motorcycle. 5Parasailing guide It is recommended to bring a mobile phone on the boat. After the little brother will ask if you want to take photos and videos with your mobile phone, 100 Thai people without a mobile phone will need 200 Thai. The little brother will gather a speedboat and send us to a small pier. Our boat is just 8 Chinese people. The highest density of Chinese people in Thailand is the most exciting speedboat. It feels like flying out in a very serious way to let us wear life jackets and collect our Mobile phones and sunglasses felt wrong at the time The process is to fly one by one, each person flies for about 2 minutes, flies very high, the view is really good, it is a bit exciting when you fly out without sitting still, and then you are not afraid, it is very comfortable to fly in the sky 6After playing, you can go to the beach. We went to two beaches. One has a lot of people and the most commercialized, but the sea is very blue and clear, and the sand is soft. There is another one with fewer people. There are only some Westerners. There is no commercial atmosphere. There are only shops and beach chairs. The sea water is equally clear, the sand is not so soft, but there are many fish in the sea.

My mom and aunt truly had an amazing and satisfying holiday spent in Pattaya. They went to almost all tourist attractions in the area including the Pattaya Beach. They didn't swim because the water was not really good, but the area was pretty clean. They just walked along the seashore and just enjoy the morning. Just Come to Central Pattaya Beach at night! Garden sea view resort is a very good hotel. It has big swimming pool and a private beach. The food in the morning is buffet but it has very long queue.

We walked the length of Pattaya Beach while absorbing views of the sunset - it took us over an hour to walk that stretch, but the views were nice. Along the beach side you can rent chairs and grab coconuts and drinks to cool off. Across the street are an endless array of restaurants, bars, shops, malls, and hotels. Walking along Pattaya beach, I noticed it seemed to be much cleaner that the first time I visited many many years ago, glad it was. A lot more space for people to sunbathe or sit and relax. You can see the nice mountain, sky, sea and sand. It was really nice, weather was great and I love the line up of trees, there are also beach loungers you can rent to lie down, some massage vendors around too if you want a massage by the beach. Pattaya Beach in the Morning 🏖️

Not many people will wake up after a hard party night in Pattaya, but some do. This morning I enjoyed a morning run alongside the famous Pattaya Beach. Since I stayed in the middle, I ran to the south (dolphin roundabout) and then to the north (walking street) of it. I can see that Pattaya is back to where it once used to be with a lot of Thai women and western foreigners. Night clubs also open until after midnight even on weekdays. Actually, I prefer to have a morning time at Wongamat Beach which is in the north of Pattaya because it is much less crowded. Many foreign tourists make the mistake of paying too much for anything and everything when they go to Thailand. This especially holds true in Pattaya. The main problem is that they tend to compare the prices of hotels, food, drink and anything else to what it costs back in their hometown. This can be costly for you and for the rest of the tourists. Just because you are on vacation and are a bit loose with your money, don’t just give away. Let me explain. Let’s say you go out for a seafood dinner and the total for dinner and drinks is $20. You think to yourself that this would cost at least $50 back home. So, you try to compensate by leaving a $5 or $10 tip. Big mistake. The bellhop carries your bags to your room and tells you how to operate everything in your room. You appreciate this, and compare it to hotels you have been to on business trips, and tip the kid $5. Another mistake. You meet a girl at a bar and she agrees to go home with you. You spend the night with her and when she gets ready to go in the morning, you tip her the same price you do back home. This is going to be 3 or 4 times the going rate. What happens now is that all these people start expecting these kinds of tips. Prices start to skyrocket, and the city that used to be the best place in the world for a vacation, will soon be ruined. You may think to yourself, big deal. I am just one guy on vacation and I can spend whatever I want. It is my vacation. You will just wind up ruining it for everyone else. The smart thing to do is to hang out at some of the Pattaya forums a month or two before you go and find out what the going rates are. And then, don’t overpay. Otherwise, you will be, in the words of one forum poster, a Lame Dupe Over Payer, or LDOP. Think about it. You wouldn’t pay $50 for something you know you can get for $20 back home, would you? So, why do it in Pattaya? I am not cheap, but I can’t see paying more than I have to. If you keep paying more and more, everyone will expect more and more. The consumers need to control the prices refuse to pay inflated prices. Eventually, they will figure it out and lower their expectations. Keep in mind that Thailand’s average wage is about $6 per day. Giving someone a tip equal to a day’s pay is ridiculous. Check the prices before you go and don’t compare prices to back home. I love this trip so much and I bet you if you have a chance you would be go there lol, actually this trip happened because of my friend’s brother he paid this trip for us. after we finished internship at Rayong. We have a chance to try new things like surfboard and eating delicious meals. they take me to everywhere we can go because we have a limited time just only 3 days we played so hard after we go back my body’s feel hurt but I’m so happy. wanna go back again with my friends like my friends group or maybe with someone I love, yeah we are far apart but that moment we’re on the beach but another country just hope one day we can be together lol. ❤️❤️

Then cross the Chaophraya River to Wat Arun Temple, a temple built by King Rama II in the 19th century, which is a landmark of the city of Bangkok. After that travelers will be taken to the Golden Buddha Temple,This temple is famous for having a height of 3 meters and weighing 5.5 tons of gold with a picture of a Buddha statue. The Golden Temple was built over 700 years ago during the Sukhothai period. Then shopping at MBK Mall, a shopping center where there are 2000 shops and various types of products. But on top of that you need to order in minimum 300 per person to take a photo. Their food was expensive but delicious so it is kind of acceptable. People recommend you to go once but not twice and I kinda agree. I highly recommend you to go pretty early in the morning when they just opened the cafe because of the heat and crowded people. Pattaya beach is a simple beach for me compare to where i travelled to, but this is the famous beach of pattaya. There are locals offerring a lot of water activities along the shore, there is a hapf day island tour, parasailing of different company i guess, and i tried this. At first, i just watched other tourist to do it, and i am convince why not try, other are safe as they landed back on the boat, coz we are at the deep side of the sea, and woohh conquered my fear and enjoyed the parasailing.
