en route to Philip island , my tour stopped at cowes which is a town close to Philip island to visit the cute little penguins. the town is very beautiful in fact and it’s filled with colorful shop houses that sell many variety of things such as food , restaurant bars and necessities as well as ice cream gelato. very interesting place to be at. and you can stop over here for a short break or meal such as dinner before going to visit the Philip island penguins. there is also a grocery stop so it’s very easy and convenient for the people here. the jetty is also very pretty but do note that it’s quite windy. so buckle up!

cowes is actually the largest town in Philip island. there are quite a variety of stores available here for shopping and visiting and purchasing some essentials. there is also restaurants and ice cream which is perfect for the summer weather.
overall the town looks nice and peaceful. a great stop to refresh. there’s also a jetty nearby. you can also stop by here for dinner before heading to Philip island to see the penguins if you have some time to spare.

The magical law, watching the world's smallest penguin homing in the sunset. Phillip Island, also known as Penguin Island, is an island at the mouth of the Westport Bay in southern Victoria, Australia. The east side of the island is bridged to the mainland's San Remo and resembles a dolphin. There are Penguin Ecological Reserve, Churchill Farm, Koala Conservation Center and New Nobis Center.
Phillip Island is located about 130 kilometers southeast of Melbourne. It takes about 2 hours by car. The vast Bass Strait in the south is like a gate in Westport, and it is at the entrance to the bay.
Phillip Island was formerly known as Snapper, and in 1798 the British explorer George Bass arrived on the island, the Bass Strait between Australia and Tasmania. It is named for the recognition of his contribution. In 1801, Captain James Grant landed on Grant Island after landing here. Later, in order to pay tribute to Colonel Arthur Phillip, the first Governor of New South Wales, he changed to Phillip Island. Hunting seals and whalers lived on the island in 1802 and declared the county in 1928.

Australia | Going home with the fairy little penguin swinging home
Phillip Island is located about 130 kilometers southeast of Melbourne and is also a convenient day trip destination from Melbourne. It is a natural zoo. You can watch the little penguins homing in the Penguin Parade on the island, experience the farm life at Churchill Farm, the koala in the Koala Conservation Center, and the Seal Rock. Thousands of seals. You can easily fill up in one day, don't like to drive a night car, live in a hotel on the island or live in a farm.
The scenery on the island is very beautiful. It is common to drive a small kangaroo or a wild goose.
The most popular island in Phillip Island is the fairy penguin. More than 30,000 penguins inhabit the Penguin Island Nature Reserve are the world's largest wild penguin protection base. When the sun goes down, night falls, a group of small penguins come ashore and return to their nests, which looks very cute! Don't rush after you see the little penguin on the beach. At this time, walk slowly along the walking path to the hall. You will find the little penguins on both sides of the walkway, and swing back and forth with you. They can be viewed at very close distances.
Need to remind everyone: Because the penguins are very timid, in order to avoid the frightened penguins, all tourists are prohibited from taking pictures and taking pictures. Figures 8 and 9 are from the official website of Phillip Island.

The beautiful and delicious ISOLA DI CAPRI Italian restaurant
ISOLA DI CAPRI Italian restaurant is located in the COWES town of Phillip Island. The restaurant is located in the most prosperous area of the small town of Cowes on Phillip Island. A white spire, with direct access to the sea and the beach, an authentic Italian meal, seafood pizza and spaghetti, or tiger and shrimp spaghetti, I ordered a signature seafood spaghetti 29 AUD, friend I chose a spaghetti with eggplant and vegetables for 24 yuan, which tastes good. The seafood has a lot of serving, and the waiter's service is warm and thoughtful.

[Melbourne Phillip Island, a small penguin Raiders, can take pictures! Phillip Island is a resort known as the fairy penguin, located near Melbourne. It is home to many of the world's smallest fairy penguins about 30 cm tall, so the locals also call it "Penguin Island." When the sun goes down and the night falls, a group of small penguins come ashore and return to their nests, which looks very cute.
The general online recommended penguin group is watching at night. In order to avoid the frightening of the penguin babies, all tourists are prohibited from taking photos and taking pictures. In order to capture the cute baby penguin, I found another way to get a daytime trip. I am not afraid of the light to scare the penguin baby, and I can shoot close to the scene. And the weather is pleasant during the day, and then arrange a walking on the island to spend a perfect day, the wind is beautiful, the scenery is beautiful, the shots are big, and you can encounter the kangaroo.

I like the natural peace of life. Philip Island is home to many of the world's smallest fairy penguins on Samolan Beach, southwest of the island, so many people directly call Phillip Island as Penguin Island. When the sun goes down and night falls, a group of small penguins come ashore and return to their nests. There will be a little penguin in the hall. If you are lucky, you can see the little penguin at the exhibition stand up close. Since I don't want to take pictures, I don't have any photos. I hope that when you go to see the little penguins, you should try not to take pictures, which will affect them more or less. It doesn't matter if you go to the viewing platform without taking a good position. Some people will feel bored after watching it for a while, or they will leave with the little penguin (the plank road next to it, you can always escort the little penguin until it returns to the hole). So when you are gone, you can sit slowly and get closer to the shore where the little penguin comes ashore. The baby penguin staying at home will wait in advance on the shore, waiting for the father, mother, brother and sister to go ashore, and then wobbled and walked home together. The little penguin who comes back first will also wait on the shore, waiting for the family to come together and go home together. Very worth seeing.
Tips: The place to watch the little penguins is very cold. In the words of the tour guide, this is the wind blowing from the South Pole. If it is late autumn or winter, it is best to bring a warm scarf.

Phillip Island is located more than 140 kilometers south of Melbourne, with the famous Churchill Farm, the Cape of Nobi, watching the Seagull Seals, and the Mini Penguin Park with its stunning coastline and strange reefs. Of course, you are lucky, you can lick kangaroos and other animals on the country road.
Entering Ramada Resort Phillip Island The entire resort is too wide. We live in 149 buildings. Next to a nature trail, you can watch the ranch, listen to the birdsong, and get close to the supporting outdoor pool and stadium. The beautiful blue open-air swimming pool, lawn football field, two standard tennis courts, not far from the natural pasture, good sun, fresh air. The chalet has two wooden terraces (one on each side), three bedrooms, a living room, dining room and an open kitchen. Six of us are just enough to have a villa. 320 Australian dollars a night also includes breakfast for 6 people, it is worth it. My favorite is to enjoy a rare exotic leisure life while enjoying a cup of homemade fruit wine while watching the scenery on the terrace. Traveling is not just about seeing the scenery, it is more about taste and integration into the local style, so even if a hotel will have its own scenery because of its characteristics, these bring us the aftertaste is not as simple as a trip. When we are old, these will always be happy memories - full.

Lakes Entres is indeed a very pleasant small fishing village. I planned to leave early in the morning, but it was hard to leave after lunch. In addition to the lake where we went to catch crabs and watch the lakeview yesterday, there is also a great view of ocean beach! And it is located in the center of the town, over a 20-meter-high hill, facing The magnificent Pacific Ocean, in addition to the waves, seems to have no words to describe this spectacular scenery. In figure 2, a local father and son sitting on the beach like this, listening, watching, thinking, this is the Pacific Ocean! Philip Island, two hundred kilometers away, is world-famous for watching young penguins returning home. Every day when the sun sets, it is the most spectacular scene. Hundreds of small penguins, only about 30cm, sway from the ocean back to the beach. Day after day, repeating the path of growth, the spirit of unremitting efforts is the most mysterious side of nature. Note: In order to protect the penguins from being scared, all tourists are prohibited from taking photos during the entire visit to the penguins beach.

This is the island's most famous attraction. Churchill Island
A large seaside farm. It is recommended to visit after 1 PM as many performances take place in the afternoon. The scenery is beautiful.
Maru Koala & Animal Park

Melbourne Travel Sharing~
Just returned from Melbourne, and I can't wait to share my travel experiences with you all.
Let's start with the advantages of Melbourne~ First of all, it has an incredibly diverse range of attractions. The Great Ocean Road is simply a paradise on earth! Standing on the edge of the cliff, watching the waves constantly crashing against the rocks, the grandeur of it all is indescribable. And the Twelve Apostles, standing quietly in the ocean, seem to be telling ancient stories. The penguin parade on Phillip Island is just too cute! Watching those little penguins waddle back from the shore, my heart was melting.
There are also many places in Melbourne's city center that fascinate me. Flinders Street Station, with its ancient architectural style, makes me want to take a few photos every time I pass by. St. Paul's Cathedral is even more majestic and solemn; the moment I walked in, I felt my soul being purified. And the State Library of Victoria, reading and studying there is simply a pleasure, the rich academic atmosphere is intoxicating.
Melbourne's cultural and artistic atmosphere is really amazing! Every piece of street graffiti is so creative, I feel like I'm walking in a giant art gallery. Various museums and art galleries also feasted my eyes, where I saw many exquisite artworks and felt the diverse charm of culture.
I also particularly like the pace of life here. Unlike big cities that are so busy and tense, people can leisurely drink coffee in cafes or sunbathe and read on the lawns of parks. I followed the local rhythm, slowed down, and enjoyed this tranquility and comfort. And the food is amazing! Whether it's Western cuisine or Asian food, you can find something very authentic. I tasted all kinds of snacks at the Queen Victoria Market, it was truly a feast.
However, there are some things about Melbourne that I find less than perfect. The weather is incredibly changeable! One day I went out when it was sunny, and then it started raining, making me scramble to find rain gear. So, when going to Melbourne, you must always check the weather forecast and bring several different outfits. Also, in terms of transportation, it can get a bit congested during peak hours, and if you're driving, you have to get used to left-hand driving, which can be a bit tricky at first. Additionally, during the peak tourist season, there are so many people, especially at popular attractions like the Great Ocean Road, so you must book tickets and accommodation in advance, or it could be quite troublesome.
But overall, Melbourne is truly an amazing tourist city! This trip has left me with so many wonderful memories. If you are also planning a trip, consider Melbourne, I believe you will fall in love with it too!

Phillip Island 🏝 Great for both day & night
Driving the whole way to Phillip Island during my Melbourne Trip. I would say I've enjoyed my time there just to chill and stay away from the hectic city life. It's a pity that I couldn't really find any good restaurants there 😕 The penguin tour is great with an extremely friendly staff leading us to the way, enjoying the sunset and could luckily see those cute penguins. The chocolate factory is vintage, and their hot chocolate is noiceeee.

Getting There - It is a 1.5-2 hour drive from victoria.
Attractions - There’s a chocolate factory en-route to the island + other attractions (theres 2 lookouts that you can checkout around the area+ kola bears reserve)
Hotels - Accommodation is pretty pricy due to it being a tourist attraction so you might want to make it a day trip there instead.
Food & Restaurants - My family and i brought our own home make meals for lunch and stopped by some random restaurant on the island for dinner (it wasn’t very expensive— just local prices)
Shopping- There isnt much luxury shopping around, just grocers and local shops around the island. We stopped by a local thrift store and got a good haul.
The penguin parade was really cute especially when you see them swimming up to the shore and making their way to the burrow.
Do take note:
1. It is insanely crowded especially in the general viewing ticket section. Kids & parents are fighting for the best views at the front.
2. Seating arrangement for general viewing is first-come-first-serve. So be there early to chope your place.
3. The park rangers are very strict on taking photos and flash. They would remove you immediately if you are caught with just having your phone out during the parade.
4. A trick we found during our trip is, midway through the parade, you can go to the walk ways and see the little penguins waiting for their parents. So don’t just sit there and watch from afar, go and walk around the planks and spot the babies waiting in the bushes and see the parents waddle their way.
5. Theres a season for the parade so do check it out when you plan your trip.
6. Theres a credit card charge if you pay by foreign card so if you can pay by cash.
ps: there isnt much penguin photo due to rules and regulations but i was way too excited for them.
