There is a lot to do in Port of Nagoya with the Public Aquarium being the most popular. There you can enjoy the dolphin show which is so amazing and world class dolphin performance. The entry fee is ¥2000. The amount is more than worthwhile specially when going with kids. The Port has many things to offer not just seeing many creatures of the sea but also to be educated of different species and their habitats. After going around from corner to corner of the aquarium. there is also a shopping mall and a lot of restaurants with lots of choices with their savory food to rest and refresh of tiring yet enjoyable tour inside and outside the aquarium which theme park is also located that offers many rides. 🐬🐬🐬

This is a very fantastic aquarium. There many fishes and water animals. White Dolphin Beluga, Killer Whales, Turtles and many beautiful jellyfishes. You can go for walking, couples, families and friends. The aquarium was just like an amusement park. You can enjoy with anybody. Everything was so beautiful and you can enjoy the time a lot there. Stuffs were very nice and kind. Its really great to go there especially on rainy day. The highlight of the aquarium is the shows, both indoor and outdoor. The Sardine Tornado is quite a unique, it dances with light and sound. The second best is the Beluga Show which I've never seen in any other aquarium before. For the Orca and Dolphin show is similar to others aquarium. If you want to experience them all, you need to organize the time and the routing inside the building well. All Nagoya residences are proud of this aquarium for sure!!

The aquarium provides a fantastic experience, particularly for seeing magnificent creatures like killer whales, dolphins, and belugas—species that aren’t easily found in many places. The tanks are well designed, allowing for a pleasant and up-close viewing experience. Everything are in Japanese except name of the fishes. Expect to spend around four hours if you want to catch the main shows featuring dolphins, killer whales, and sardines, while a more casual visit without the shows can be wrapped up in about 1.5 hours. The shows are very worthy to watch as they dont over work the dolphins, but also have many activities to keep the audiences engaged.

Nagoya Port Aquarium: A Must-Visit for All Ages! Explore Marine Life!
Nagoya Port Aquarium is one of the must-visit aquariums in Japan. The main attractions here include dolphins, belugas, penguins, and killer whales! We spent about four hours exploring the aquarium, enjoying various shows, including the famous dolphin show! The dolphins are very well-trained and obedient! You can watch them but please don't harm them! Follow the rules inside the venue to protect the animals! Penguins are also one of my favorite shows, and getting up close with them is a lot of fun!
We purchased our tickets for Nagoya Aquarium on Trip.com. Booking in advance is convenient and easy to use, with tickets priced at $110 each! After booking, you can also earn Trip Coins as a reward! Weekdays are less crowded, but weekends can be very busy, so it's recommended to purchase tickets in advance! Although there are many large tanks inside, it might feel like there are fewer species of creatures, but each one is quite large, so you'll still feel satisfied! Additionally, the dolphin show was very impressive! The area is quite spacious, so it's nice to take your time and rest as you go along.

Port of Nagoya Aquarium
From my hotel I had the choice to go to either Legoland or Port of Nagoya & considering the distance/price; I chose the latter. Safe to say I was not disappointed! Having visited a few aquariums already, the maintenance of the sea-animals and the dedication/friendliness with which the staff work and help visitors was great!
The exhibits with the whales, dolphins and my personal fav BELUGA’s was just great! You could just spend hours watching them In marvel! I assumed that there would be heaps of tourists but judging by the families and the amount of stuff they got there was also a lot of local crowd from Nagoya itself just to enjoy the weekend with their kids which shows it’s a very well loved spot!
There’s also a mall sort of place nearby with lots of food options and if you want to announce you’re in Nagoya to your friends and family; there’s a City name display just outside the Port of Nagoya!
Surely worth a visit and if possible try checking the times for their shows specially the “Sardine Tornado” it’s a visual spectacle #Japan #Nagoya #portofnagoyaaquarium

#nagoyatrip We chose this aquarium instead of the one near legoland and it doesn’t disappoint. Its orca and dolphins show is great and entertaining. These intelligent mammals are a sight to behold despite being in captivity. There isn’t many other sea creatures to admire like many else aquariums we been to but we are satisfied with this. Being next to the sea is so refreshing too.

NAGOYA AQUARIUM 💦🐬
To be honest, I wasn't that excited when I went there. I'm from the Philippines where we swim with Whalesharks, sooooo, the experience was okay. But, if you haven't seen Dolphins and Whalesharks, this is the place to be. They have shows everyday and the kids will surely love it.

Early in the morning, we arrived at the Nagoya Port Aquarium! When I saw the colorful "sardine storm", my girl's heart was intoxicated. Here, you can see the graceful swimming of the beluga, hear the beautiful tweet of the beluga, and meet the bottlenose dolphins that like to be spoiled, and the penguin sink that reproduces the Antarctic environment! What makes me wonder is that the penguin in the impression should be watched indoors as shown in the picture above, and it is not only indoors, but also can be released outdoors. On the lawn of the aquarium, I saw this group of cute little penguins. Visitors can watch penguins up close by on the lawn. Seeing this penguin who wants to fly and flutter, it just kills me. Hahaha~ The sun is so big, dont you know if they will feel hot?
I met a group of lovely students in front of the aquarium and asked if they could take pictures of them. When I came to the aquarium, it was like returning to my childhood. When I saw these lovely marine life, the girls heart was overflowing! z
imissqingqing.
The Nagoya Port Aquarium is very creative and is divided into the South Hall and the North Hall. The South Pavilion is based on the theme of Antarctic Travel. The North Pavilion focuses on 3.5 billion years of retrospective travel and displays marine life in different waters. The white whale here is so cute, the sardine storm is very spectacular. And the penguins here are so big that the sun goes down the grass, which is a big feature.
