River city bangkok Art : Lost in Paradise
The temptation of the world’s illusionary beauty makes us see what the veil of prejudice hides. It slowly lures us to fixate our minds on that thing until it becomes an obsession, preserving our lifestyles based on popular consumer culture, believing that what we see in society is worth enjoying. We pursue it relentlessly, forgetting the essential questions of how these things came to be, how they exist, and what they are for.
It is not wrong to be lost in the fascination stirred by the paradisiacal persuasion, but it is also beautiful to indulge in the rotating world of the trend. However, we should not forget what we genuinely want to do, and only follow the illusions that are enchanting us. Realizing the attraction’s force of things outside of us is something we should constantly contemplate and resist, so we can possess our lives based on our own volition, without being lost in the spells.

Visit this Contemporary Museum!
The best best best exhibitions I’ve ever visited! Ok that’s a little biased but I enjoyed my time here! Follow them on IG to see what exhibitions they have lined up for that week! I even bought some artworks which were affordable too! From abstract works to hyperrealism, you’ll be spoil for choice! Hehe.
You can grab here as the BTS (Saphan Thaksin) is quite a distance. Have lotsa things to carry? no worries! they have lockers for you to keep your stash! Make sure you have some smaller change!

**Exploring the Beauty of River City Bangkok**
Hey there, I'm in the heart of Bangkok, and can't wait to share this incredible experience with you. I've just embarked on a walk around River City, and it's like stepping into a different world. The city's skyline is a stunning backdrop for the bustling streets below, filled with locals going about their daily lives.
The river itself is a sight to behold, reflecting the city's vibrant energy. As I stroll along the waterfront, I can't help but take in the beauty of the surroundings. From the towering buildings to the colourful street vendors, everything seems to come together in perfect harmony.
Getting There - I suggest having a walk from Silom Road as you’ll be crossing a nice and cosy neighbourhood.
Food & Restaurants - there are lots of restaurants to choose from both on the way to the river and by the river at the waterfront.
In the meantime, if you're ever in Bangkok, make sure to visit River City. It's a great place to explore and soak up the local culture.

Crybaby Thailand Exhibition, the Crybaby is so popular in Thailand
-
Recently, the popularity of Crybaby has been soaring. I hadn't paid much attention to this IP before, but now that I'm in Thailand, it just so happens that Bangkok is hosting a Crybaby exhibition. Many friends from China want to go, and I happened to visit today. I've also made a detailed guide to give everyone some reference!
-
🎪 Exhibition Process
1️⃣ Line up to fill in information, which roughly includes: name, nationality, how you found out about the exhibition, etc., with Thai and English labels. Scan the QR code in advance and use WeChat to translate and fill it out to avoid confusion.
2️⃣ You need to take off your shoes for the exhibition. Someone at the entrance will give you a bag to carry your shoes in.
3️⃣ The front part is the exhibition and the back part is for merchandise sales.
-
🎪 Since many friends want to buy merchandise, and it sells out quickly, here are a few tips to save time:
1️⃣ Definitely scan the QR code and fill in your information in advance when lining up to enter, especially if you're not good at English, otherwise it will take up a lot of time.
2️⃣ The mall opens at 10:00. When you enter the exhibition, don't start viewing right away. Go straight to the back to buy the merchandise first, then go back to view the exhibition. Don't leave the building! If you go out, you'll have to line up again!
3️⃣ The exhibition is free, you just need to line up and fill in your information. Pay special attention that for purchasing merchandise, only credit cards (VISA and MasterCard) or local Thai electronic payments are accepted, nothing else! Not even cash!
4️⃣ If you just want to visit the exhibition, take photos, and check in, it's recommended to come in the afternoon. The mall closes at 20:00. I came at 19:00, and the merchandise was definitely sold out, but viewing the exhibition won't be like waiting in line for three to four hours in the morning.

River City Bangkok - great for art lovers
Placed in Silom, near many BTS and Chao Payra Pier, it"s very easy to access.
I book a hotel in Silom, near Thai Design and Creative Center then walk a lil to get there.
The whole place is a mall for exhibitions and antiques, with the 2nd floor of galleries: RCB, Tang Contemporary Art, etc. You can get many artistic items here from stationery, clothes to big antique piano.
We came across this family style pad Thai shop - Pad Thai Khun Ying, near River City.
It’s clean, though ran by limited staff, it makes scrumptious pad Thai, fried chicken and various Thai salad. My favourite was the mango sticky rice - huge portion for 80 baht.
If you happen to be in the area I highly recommend this place - good local food at good price family style restaurants.

The AMAZING exhibitions at River City Bangkok
There’s always art exhibitions going on over there. Really recommend for those art lovers. However, it’s also a fantastic place for photography. Need a new profile, it’s worth a try over there.
Entrance is FREE. Take your time over there and you could take the chance to go to Icon Siam for dinner as well. Have fun.

Bangkok River City
Across from the Wenhua Hotel, there is a great gallery, antique and craft shops, including antique and antique watch shops. There is also a place to learn oil painting, with a sandy beach on the ground. There is a delicate gold-plated porcelain shop. The coffee shops are all by the river with a view. There are not many tourists, but more Thai people. This is a good place for those who love art and crafts. The overall style is noble, and the silk products are also creative.
