📸 Tafan Village, a small town on the mountain
#tripแจกโรงแรมฟรี
🎞 Ta Van Village is located in the middle of a lush valley. It is a village of the Red Yao ethnic group that still firmly maintains its traditions and way of life. Houses made of bamboo and thatched grass are hidden along the hillside, blending in with nature. When you walk into the village, you will see villagers dressed in colorful tribal costumes, weaving or doing various activities diligently.
📷 In addition to experiencing the villagers' way of life, Ta Van also offers beautiful scenery of terraced rice fields that descend down the hillside. Especially during the rice planting season, the rice fields turn bright green, contrasting with the golden color of the ripe yellow rice. You can walk along the small paths through the rice fields, breathe in the fresh air, and fully enjoy the beauty of nature. And if you come at the right time, you may have the chance to watch the villagers' traditional rice farming, which is quite an impressive experience.

Hiking in Sapa During Winter
As I stepped foot in the enchanting town of Sapa during the tail end of winter season, I couldn't help but be mesmerized by the beauty of the landscape that surrounded me. The rice terraces were blanketed in thick fog, making the area look mystical.
Eager to explore this landscape, my friends and I decided to hire a hiking guide to navigate the trails. Our guide was a local Hmong lady with an infectious passion for the mountains. With her guidance, we embarked on an unforgettable adventure through the slippery rice terraces and valleys.
Every step we took revealed breathtaking vistas of jagged mountains piercing through the clouds. Our guide shared stories of her childhood and job, offering glimpses into the rich cultural heritage of the ethnic minority tribes inhabiting the region. She also had lunch with us, at a restaurant in her village. The food was simple, but delicious.
Hiking in Sapa during winter was a true test of endurance, but the rewards were immeasurable. The solitude and serenity found in nature, combined with the companionship of our guide and fellow trekkers, made this an unforgettable experience.

Winter Chills
#2023travelwish It has been my long time dream to experience winter. The first time I experienced the beauty of winter was this December when my fiancé and I went to Sa pa Vietnam. The place was amazing! It exceeded our expectation. The food were great, the coffee shops were excellent. We loved walking around the place feeling the cold breeze of the winter air. It was just sad that we didn’t get to see snow as they only have it in January until early March. Our travel wish this coming 2023 is to experience winter again, see real snow and visit places that realizes our imagination of a winter wonderland. #donnahtheexplorer #winter #vietnam #coldbreeze

Sa Pa Sisters
Situated at the Northwest of Hanoi is Sa Pa, a popular trekking site which oversees the rice field. You can go on the trek yourself or join a group led by the tribes. We took the SaPa sisters group trek where a portion of the money you paid goes to the SaPa sisters to help with their daily expenses. They really do not earn a lot 🥲 but they lead with such passion. Beautiful scenery as you trek, but be careful what you buy or you would attract a village of kids 🤪
PS. you do need a certain physical level to join the trek as some are quite difficult to get to. For the adventurous, you can choose to join the most difficult level!

Experience the Unreal Views at the Infinity Pool of Sapa Topas Ecolodge
📍Sapa Topas Ecolodge
We arrived at the lodge early in the morning and spent our time swimming until our room was ready.
The upper pool is heated, while the lower pool is normal. The heated pool was perfect for the chilly morning, but it got too hot when the sun was blazing in the afternoon. 😂
The pool area includes a pool bar, showers, restrooms, and lockers. You can enjoy these facilities even before check-in!
Sometimes, they host pool parties. We happened to be there during one, so it wasn't as peaceful as we had imagined due to the external guests and party music. However, we had a blast before the party started. 🥰

Sapa, the Switzerland of Vietnam, Topas Eco Lodge vacation was like heaven
#Ho-kang-seu #Vietnam-travel #Sapa-accommodation #Infinity-pool
The accommodation that Facebook founder Mark Zugberg
visited for his summer vacation
is Topas Ecolodge.
In addition, Topas Ecolodge, a hotel in Sapa
was selected by National Geographic as the most unique accommodation in the world,
so it was even more anticipated.
It is about 40 minutes away from Sapa city
so you have to use a dedicated shuttle.
There is no TV or Wi-Fi in the room.
The purpose of this accommodation is to “separate” from the outside world.
Since you can enjoy nature
it would be good to visit on the last day of your Sapa trip
to relieve your travel fatigue.

This small Miao town in the northernmost part of Vietnam is always rolling in the clouds and shrouded in wonderful smog. Stroll through this beautiful town, such as the fairyland. Occasionally, a minority woman dressed in traditional costumes greeted with enthusiasm. This is the warmest greeting of the city.
Walk in the streets of Sabah, whether it is a beautiful church or a warm minority woman, it can attract visitors to stop and enjoy. The beauty of Sabah is the perfect combination of beauty and simple people.
