Nan, Sapan - A Must-Visit Destination
Thailand is as beautiful as any other country in the world. This statement is not an exaggeration📍
This trip will take you to a province that sounds quiet and peaceful, but upon visiting, you'll discover the beauty of nature and the people, making you fall in love with it. Let's go to Nan province!
Start the trip by visiting Wat Phra That Khao Noi to receive blessings. The weather is great, and after receiving good energy, we head to the city district to enjoy local food in Nan. We stroll through the morning market and buy some coffee. Then, we continue our journey to the first homestay we booked, Rai Sud Mueng Po Bio Farm. This homestay offers a mountain view, surrounding us with nature. We had a comfortable sleep here on the first night. Waking up to fresh air and a delicious breakfast, we drive to our next destination, Sapan Village, known for its excellent ozone. There are many homestays here that you can book in advance on trip.com at reasonable prices. Most accommodations are wooden, and some offer packages that include dinner. You can choose according to your convenience. Along the way, we didn't miss taking photos with Highway 8 as a memento. By the afternoon, we arrived at Sapan Village. The atmosphere is peaceful, with mountain views all around, providing a sense of tranquility. We stopped for lunch while watching the flowing water. Afterward, we checked in at our accommodation, Doi Ing Dao at Dong Phaya. After a short rest, we went to visit Sapan Waterfall, which requires a walk of about 800 meters. The path is surrounded by nature, and we finally reached the waterfall with its strong flow. It was a wonderful time to be with nature and ourselves. On the morning of our return, we were greeted by a white mist, making it an unforgettable experience.

Sapun Waterfall, Nan
Nan is a province with a variety of tourist attractions, including cities, mountains, and waterfalls. Today, we'll take you to 'Sapun Waterfall' in Bo Kluea district, Nan province, which is under the care of Khun Nan National Park. The waterfall is not very large, with a total of 3 tiers (on this trip we could only reach the first tier due to heavy rain 😰). Each tier is covered with forest, making it look lush and green, soothing to the eyes and adding charm to the enticing Sapun Waterfall. Due to the humidity, the rocks are covered with moss and water ferns, making it even more beautiful, but be careful as it can be slippery. Walk carefully! For those who like trekking and adventure, there is a nature trail around the waterfall, approximately 800 meters long, for an up-close and personal experience. This place is definitely a highlight when visiting the Sapun village, and you should not miss the Sapun Waterfall.
⏰ Open for visit: 06:00-18:00 hrs.

Enjoy the sound of nature @ Sapan Waterfall
In Sapan, a serene village located in Nan, Thailand, a short hike through the forest unveils the beautiful Sapan waterfall.
Our journey in Sapan spanned a few days as we eagerly explored the wonders of this small village. The Sapan waterfall stood out as a must-see attraction during our research.
Upon arrival at the entrance, where street food and coffee carts line the area, visitors can also enjoy feeding fish in the river near the parking lodge. To reach the main waterfall, we must ascend a hill through the forest for about 20 minutes.
Every time we think about the waterfall, the sound of nature greets us, calming our souls with its peaceful melody.
Although Sapan Waterfall may be small in size, it never fails to evoke the same sense of wonder and tranquility within us.
We find ourselves motivated to simply sit and enjoy the moment of the Sapan waterfall.
