From Bustling Moscow to the Tranquil Golden Ring 🌆✨
In the evening, arrival in Moscow led to a stay at a hotel on the outskirts of the city. Moscow, one of the world's three largest cities alongside San Francisco and Mexico City, is bustling with traffic 🚗🌆.
The first stop on the second day was Sergeyev Posad, part of the Golden Ring, mainly to visit the Holy Trinity Church, one of the oldest Orthodox churches ⛪✨. The town is picturesque, with the pink church standing out, and the tulips planted in front adding to its beauty 🌷🏰. The sunny weather highlighted the colored churches against the blue sky and white clouds, creating an almost magical scene ☀️🌈. In the following days, the temperature in Russia steadily dropped, culminating in snow on the last day ❄️🌨️. Monks in black robes and many saints can be seen, devoutly kissing the holy coffin after worship and lighting a holy candle, creating a deeply ritualistic atmosphere 🕯️🙏. This environment naturally inspires quiet reflection, allowing an experience of piety and tranquility, and a connection to ancient culture 🕊️.
Compared to the metropolis of Moscow, these old towns are the heart of true Slavic culture. There are no tall buildings, only historical structures with rich stories 📜🏛️. Interesting people and events can be encountered around every corner, making wandering feel like a museum visit 🏞️🎨. Life here is slow, so slow that the passage of time becomes irrelevant ⌛. Perhaps this is the essence of life 🌿.

The sergiyev Posad in Moscow, Russia is also one of the best architectural place I have ever seen. The place can be extremely cold but the majestic view of the building offset that. I cannot get enough looking at the arts of the building here. I highly recommend you to go should you visit russia. #merrychristmas

The town of Cheryev is also known as Zagorsk. One of the satellite cities in Moscow, located 71 kilometers northeast of the city. It is a picturesque and unique city and one of the golden city of Russia.
General travel to Moscow, you will choose a Golden Circle town to visit, Golden Circle Town, starting from Moscow, to the northeast of the Volga River, composed of several ancient cities. By connecting these ancient capitals, it becomes a ring resembling a gold necklace, so it is called "Golden Ring". These ancient cities scattered north to northeast of Moscow are located in the Grand Duchy of Moscow at the time, showing the ancient capital of Russia in the Middle Ages, with a true Russian-style view.
The usual golden ring towns are Cheryev, Vladimir and Suzdal. The town of Sergeyev is the closest to Moscow, and can travel to and from the same day. Due to the rush of time, we had to choose this town.

Sergiev Posad is a 71 thousand m area located in the north east of Moscow, and features picturesque beauty along with unique buildings. Since the 14th century, it has been a witness to history, even so much as a participant in the historical disturbances of Russia. It is one of the ancient heirloom cities of Russia. Due to this being the site of the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius Monastery, it is seen as a sacred site of the Orthodox religion. This area was once more prosperous than Moscow, later once Moscow became the capital city, this area became a peaceful small town. This has been the destiny of the city, or possibly the luck of the people who live here. I won’t call it a paradise, but this a place best suited for the slow life, and I love it.

Taking a train to travel - Russian journey (5) Moscow.
From St. Petersburg to Moscow, we took the overnight train. This time we had first class seats, with two beds in a private compartment and dinner and breakfast included. It was very nice.
Moscow, the capital of Russia, is also the last stop of our trip. The scenery of Moscow in all four seasons is incredibly amazing. The Kremlin is located in the heart of Moscow, and from April to October every year, there is a changing of the guard ceremony for the Russian Presidential Guard Infantry and Cavalry Honor Guard every Saturday at noon.
Arriving at the ancient city of Golden Ring, the town of Sergiyev Posad, the sun unexpectedly came out. It was also the only time we had sun during our entire trip in Russia. I guess the sun knew we were heading back and wanted to give us some comfort.
The main transportation for this trip is train. We took overnight trains between cities in Russia, including first class, second class, third class, and high-speed trains. There are also yidengdu buses and subways.
Commonly used apps include Google Maps, Google Translate, Youdao Translate, and Booking.com. Although playing is tiring, it is very enjoyable. There are many joys.
Finally, a tip: it's more cost-effective to buy tickets at the local ticket office.
