Bangkok Thailand is always a great place for family trips and this is the viral pancake at Iconsiam. D Bake is on the same level as Sook Siam but their stall is located at Takashimaya area. You can choose between Pandan or Thai milktea flavour but it is better you buy both and try it. You have to eat it hot and there are plenty of seating areas right outside the stall too. These waffles are so crispy and they are not the usually waffles style. The chef will hang the waffle to cool it down before serving to their customers.

Indoor Floating Market Food Hall
At the bottom of Icon Siam mall is Sook Siam, a food court designed to look and feel like a floating market. There is tons of food - the prices are a bit higher compared to some other mall food courts, but the design of the space and the ambience make it worth the visit. There was also a traditional Thai dance show taking place when we visited, so you can enjoy some entertainment while eating. Aside from food, there are also shops for souvenirs and Thai massage places available.

Hello Bangkok and try out some bizarre snacks such as these creepy crawlies like scorpion and centipede. These delicacies are harmless and not poisonous, they are mostly farmed for consumption. It is worth trying something new in life and these bizarre snacks will get you excited. You can wash down with some iced coconut water too. There are also many other local snacks worth trying at this basement food market.

Sook Siam Bangkok!
SOOKSIAM is a streetfood inspired foodcourt which is location in the famous ICONSIAM shopping centre which is really popular with Singaporeans! I was feeling peckish after a whole day of walking around in Bangkok. I was very impressed by the amount of vendors that were selling their food in the basement of a mall! It took the chaos of street side dining away, leaving you with just the food for you to savour. It was a refreshing concept!
Do come with an empty stomach! I ordered pork knuckle and a corn dog which was delicious and very affordable with a price from SGD2-3! The vendors were so friendly and I would definitely be back for more food.
Do note that most vendors accept cash only.

🇹🇭 Sook Siam toilets arts
At Sook Siam, you can get all delicious street food in clean and air-conditioned environment. Naturally, you will wish for a clean toilet. When you are at Iconsiam, the toilets are your least concern because the toilets are clean and there are always toilet attendants around. The toilet theme at Sook Siam is about water barrels and so you have a barrel as your water basin to wash hands. All the walls are also decorated and there are tester products in the toilets as well. The retail shops will place their items in the toilet for you to test. This is also a good way of advertising and if you like it, you can visit their retail shop and buy it.

Like a night market, there are many different food and shopping options inside.
The food prices are more expensive than at night markets, but it is clean and there is no need to worry about hygiene.
There is air conditioning so you can eat comfortably.
That is why it is popular not only with locals but also with tourists, so it is always crowded.

This is a Michelin restaurant popular for Somtam, Hangjeongsalgui, and Gopchanggui.
It is popular with locals and is said to be one of the top 80 restaurants in Asia.
- Lung_ngen coffee
This is a Thai milk tea place that locals really like.
They make Thai milk tea right after you order.
It was fun to see the process of making it.
Really... I was surprised that it was so much tastier than I thought.
I personally thought it was stronger and tastier than Chatramyu.
- Langsang
Langsang is a Thai dish made with pork spine.
It's like our country's Gamjatang. I ordered it because I really wanted to try it.

Why I Love Bangkok: A Foodie’s Dream and a Shopper’s Paradise
Bangkok is a city that captivates you from the moment you arrive. It’s vibrant, energetic, and full of life, but what really draws me in is the food and the shopping—it’s a perfect blend of indulgence for the senses.
Bangkok combines two of my favorite things—amazing food and world-class shopping. It’s a city that keeps you coming back for more, and I love every moment spent there.🏖️Ambiance/Facilities:🏖️Ambiance/Facilities:

Sook Siam is at the ground floor of Iconsiam, located 299 Charoen Nakhon 5 Alley, Khlong Ton Sai, Khlong San, Bangkok 10600. The nearest BTS is the gold line Charoen Nakhon or you can take the free ferry ride from Sathon pier. Sook Siam is the indoor floating market, it brings together food and culture heritage from four main geographical regions across 77 provinces in Thailand. Street foods and snacks are popular with Thais and tourists and you can see everywhere in Sook Siam. There are thousands of business operators in Sook Siam. Frankly speaking the food here is more expensive then outside pushcart vendors

Iconsiam fresh food basement
Address: 299 Charoen Nakhon Rd, Khlong Ton Sai, Khlong San, Bangkok 10600, Thailand
Welcome to SookSiam which is the best food paradise in Iconsiam. You can find street food at street food prices here. If you are exiting from the Gold Line BTS, go towards your left and there is an escalator which will bring you right into SookSiam. This time, I even saw fresh seafood at SookSiam, fresh from Phuket. Plus, there are also new stores too. There is also the famous coconut cake from Jodd’s fair too. I have to buy everything and try it. Too bad, I am travelling alone and couldn't eat as much. But, I take them back to the hotel and eat it for later.
