The 5-meter-tall sculpture "Dancing Pumpkin" is super cute and incredibly photogenic. 3️⃣ Classic polka dot paintings + immersive mirror rooms + psychedelic sculptures - every room is a great photo op. 4️⃣ Pumpkin Mirror Room: There's a queue, and each person only has about 20 seconds to look around. You won't have time to use a camera here, so it's recommended to use your phone to take pictures through the small opening. 📌 Exhibition tips: 1️⃣ Attire: It's recommended to wear form-fitting clothing in solid colors (black, white, beige, or other low-saturation colors). The exhibition is full of highly saturated colors and patterns, which might be overwhelming for those with trypophobia. 2️⃣ Viewing order: You can scan your ticket and enter up to half an hour before your entry time. You must visit Part 1 before Part 2. Just had the most incredible time at the Melbourne Skydeck in Eureka Tower, and I couldn't wait to share it with you all! ✨✨✨ From the moment I stepped into the elevator, I knew I was in for something special. The ride up to the Skydeck was super smooth and quick, and before I knew it, I was 297 meters above the ground, looking out over the stunning Melbourne skyline. The views are absolutely unbeatable, especially at sunset when the city turns into a sea of lights. One of the coolest things I did was the Edge experience. Imagine standing in a glass cube that sticks out from the building, with the floor turning see-through right under your feet. It’s both thrilling and a bit scary, but totally worth it! You can’t take your phone in, but there's a pro camera to capture the moment. I also checked out the Voyager Theatre, where you sit in a special chair and wear VR goggles for a 5D tour of Melbourne. When I came to Melbourne, Australia, the seasonal climate was instantly opposite to that of Hong Kong, which was a bit strange~ After resting, I first traveled around Melbourne to see the city. The most central part of Melbourne is basically a Free Tram Zone, and any activities in this area are free! I really like this benefit! First stop: Flinder street Train Station Flinder street Train Station is a symbol of Melbourne, basically a landmark! This is the place you absolutely cannot miss when visiting Melbourne, and the must-visit check-in point is here! This is one of the earliest operating railway stations in Australia, built in 1854, and more than millions of people commute through this station every day. The iconic clock in the station is one of the famous photo spots for many people. Be sure to stand under it and take a photo as a souvenir! Recommended camera position: Take photos on the street diagonally opposite the train station to get a full view, and there won’t be many people. You can sit on a bench to take better photos. Second stop: Union Lane, Hosier Lane There are two famous graffiti streets in Melbourne, Union Lane and Hosier Lane. The two alleys are not far apart and can be reached in about 8 minutes on foot. As an important landmark of graffiti art, everything from walls to stairs, and even roadside trash cans, windows, and road signs are canvases in the eyes of graffiti artists. When we first reached Melbourne, we started our day with a leisurely stroll through Melbourne's laneways, known for their vibrant street art, charming cafes, and eclectic shops. We started from Hosier Lane and explored around laneways like AC/DC Lane and Degraves Street. 📍Federation Square, Melbourne VIC 3000, We also visited the iconic Queen Victoria Market, one of the largest open-air markets in the Southern Hemisphere. There were many stalls selling fresh produce, gourmet foods, clothing, souvenirs, and more. The market is definitely worth to visit 💯 Queen Victoria Market 📍Queen St, Melbourne VIC 3000. We also experienced Melbourne's cultural scene by attending a performance at one of its renowned theaters, such as the Melbourne Recital Centre and Arts Centre Melbourne. Do checked out their schedules for concerts, plays, or dance performances to prevent disappointment 🤣 Besides, we also took a scenic stroll along the Yarra River, starting at Southbank Promenade and crossing the pedestrian bridges for panoramic views of the city skyline. We accessed the Southbank Promenade from along the river and we also visited the most famous Brighton Beach to see the iconic Brighton Bathing Boxes, a row of colorful wooden huts lining the shore. We enjoy a very relaxing afternoon on the beach and took a swim in the refreshing waters of Port Phillip Bay. 📍Brighton Beach is located in the suburb of Brighton, accessible by train from Melbourne's city center I would also recommend you to try my favourite restaurant, Cumulus Inc. It is a popular dining spot located in Melbourne's central business district that has a contemporary Australian menu with a focus on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. This restaurant has relaxed atmosphere, stylish decor, and excellent service 🙌🙌 Prices vary depending on the menu items and drinks chosen, but we spent around $50-$70 AUD per person for a meal. Melbourne is a city that took my breath away with its diverse and striking architecture. From modern skyscrapers to Victorian-era buildings, this Australian gem has it all for architecture lovers like myself. As I strolled along the Yarra River, I was greeted by the sight of Federation Square's iconic modern design. With its sloping planes and mix of zinc, glass and sandstone, this public square shows Melbourne's embrace of contemporary architecture. Nearby Flinders Street Station, in contrast, is a stunning remnant of the city's colonial past. The prominent domed building built in 1910 remains a treasured landmark. Venturing into the Central Business District, I craned my neck upwards to admire the towering skyscrapers. Our guide highlighted the unusual triangle-shaped Tower Melbourne, before pointing out the striking blue glass exterior of the Eureka Tower. At almost 300 meters high, this skyscraper offers incredible views from its observation deck. Just outside the city center in inner suburbs like Fitzroy, Carlton and St Kilda, blocks of attached Victorian terraces with wrought iron lacework delighted me with their old-world charm. And the World Heritage-listed Royal Exhibition Building, constructed in 1880 for the Melbourne International Exhibition, remains an outstanding symbol of the city's 19th century pride and confidence. With its respect for the old and embrace of the new, Melbourne has curated an architectural experience like no other for visitors. The diversity of building styles here, from modern wonders to historic icons, tells the story of an innovative city confidently looking to the future without forgetting its past. an architectural building that was built as remembrance of the war, in other word the shrine of remembrance is a war memorial in melbourne. We did not have any plan to visit this place but it is on the way to Royal botanical garden Victoria and thus we make a quick stop to look at the building and take a quick break. The only thing I found was the spectacular view of city from the top of the stairs of this building.
