During my summer vacation, I visited Xi’an and had a blast.
I spent most of my time riding a bike around the city and checking out the different tourist areas.
Tang paradise is a great area where you can walk around and buy some snacks. There are many beautiful temples and it’s especially beautiful at night.

Tang paradise is extremely beautiful and gorgeous during Spring festival. Even in winter we can enjoy the amazing view of Furong lake. Xi'an, Tang Paradise
When discussing the tourist attractions of the ancient city of Xi'an, I am particularly fond of Tang Paradise. Compared to the hustle and bustle of the city that never sleeps, it wins my favor with its unique garden scenery, and I highly recommend it. Tang Paradise not only creates an atmosphere of traveling through time, making one feel as if they are in the prosperous Tang Dynasty Chang'an, but its meticulously designed night view is also breathtaking, making it hard to leave. I call it the 'Tang Paradise Night View,' which is truly exceptional.
In addition, the surrounding area of Tang Paradise, such as the Tang-style 'Furong New World,' is equally fascinating. These places not only retain rich historical and cultural elements but also have relatively fewer tourists, avoiding the crowding issues. Compared to the throngs of people in the Tang Dynasty City that never sleeps, this place offers a quieter and more comfortable touring experience.
It is particularly worth mentioning that the Fanglin Garden Hotel located within Tang Paradise is not only an ideal place to rest but also hosts grand lantern festivals during specific seasons, perfectly blending classical beauty with modern comfort. It is a rare accommodation choice during the trip. Here, I strongly recommend that tourists pay attention to the 'Lantern Festival' special event and consider staying at this hotel to fully experience the unique charm of Xi'an Tang Paradise, including its stunning scenery and profound cultural heritage.

If you are planning a family trip to Xi'an, Tang Paradise is undoubtedly an excellent choice. Not only is it less crowded with beautiful scenery, but it also offers rich cultural performances and a cool environment that makes it hard to leave.
Reasons to recommend:
Few people and quiet, clean photo backgrounds, free performances without obstructions.
Cool and comfortable, with plenty of shade and pavilions, it's a great place to escape the heat.
Diverse performances, live-action shows, and interactive programs, very suitable for children.
Great for photography, the man-made landscapes are equally stunning, no need to queue.
Ticket guide:
Adult ticket 120 yuan, child ticket 60 yuan (free for children under 6 years old or 1.2 meters).
It is recommended to buy theme performance tickets that include park entry, such as 'Drum'.
Tour route:
It is recommended to enter the park from the South Gate (Jiutian Gate) at 17:00, and visit Tangshi Gorge, Qujiang Hu Store, Shinu Pavilion, etc. in sequence. Don't miss the Dreaming of Tang Dynasty parade at 18:30 and the ultimate performance at the North Square of Ziyun Tower.
Performance time:
Starting from 16:20, there are free performances one after another. Plan your tour according to the map and performance schedule.
Tips:
Book the package ticket one day in advance to enjoy a better price.
Arrive early and start your tour when the weather is cool.
The 'Drum' performance on the third floor of Ziyun Tower is very exciting and worth seeing.
After the tour, you can enjoy a leisurely time at Luyu Tea House.

Seven Days and Six Nights Leisure Tour in Xi'an | Family Trip (Part 2)
Day 1: Arrive in Xi'an in the afternoon - SEG Plaza - Chang'an Food Street
Day 2: Xi'an Eternal Love Show - Qiulin Company Lijia Village Store
Day 3: Sajinqiao Morning Market - Yisu Society - Big Wild Goose Pagoda - Joy City
Day 4: Dongcangmen Morning Market - Shaanxi Natural History Museum - Great Tang All Day Mall
Day 5: Daming Palace - Tang Paradise
Day 6: Xi'an Film Studio - Yongxingfang
(Continued from the previous part) The ancient capital Xi'an, where the wind carries culture and the ground is steeped in history. Young children can't understand history, so this trip didn't include museums. The focus was on relaxation and leisure, without the need for military-style check-ins or walking 20,000 steps a day. Eat when hungry, sleep when tired, and continue to have fun when awake, so the itinerary was stretched out.
Xi'an has convenient transportation with an extensive subway network. This time, we stayed at a hotel near a subway station, relying entirely on the subway for travel. During the summer vacation, hotel prices in the city center doubled, but prices were still reasonable a bit further out, and it didn't make much difference where we stayed as long as it was near a subway station.
Great Tang All Day Mall
A large Tang Dynasty-style architectural complex and pedestrian street with a background of Tang culture, a must-visit in Xi'an, and it is indeed crowded. You can first watch the fountain at the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, then follow the crowd to see various performances at scheduled times. If you have the energy to squeeze in, go ahead, but with kids, it's better to just stroll around.
Daming Palace
Near the hotel, we took a casual stroll with the kids. Not recommended for a special visit as there's not much to see.
Tang Paradise
If you don't want to squeeze through the crowds at the Great Tang All Day Mall, come to Tang Paradise. It fully showcases the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty with many performances to watch. The evening lights are splendid, and the scenery is equally impressive.
Xi'an Film Studio
Established in 1958, many classic films have come from here, such as 'Red Sorghum,' 'Old Well,' 'Beautiful Big Feet,' and 'A Chinese Odyssey,' leaving many with fond memories. There are lush plane trees, nostalgic movie posters, charming cafes, and the largest film museum in Northwest China, with many precious film equipment, props, costumes, and introductions to film history and production processes. It's well worth a visit.
Yongxingfang
One of the 108 neighborhoods of the Tang Dynasty, it was the former residence of Prime Minister Wei Zheng. Now it is a themed street for 'Intangible Cultural Heritage Food Culture,' featuring the famous Silver Man Ashao, the viral Bowl-Smashing Liquor, various specialty foods, and local crafts and souvenirs processed by traditional artisans.

💗Other tips:
Tang Paradise covers an area of 1,000 mu and is a large-scale theme park rebuilt in the style of the Tang Dynasty royal garden to the north of the site of the original Tang Dynasty Furong Garden.
The Ziyun Building is the landmark building of Tang Paradise.
The Cai Xia Corridor is one of the important buildings in Tang Paradise, originally built during the prosperous Tang Dynasty, and became as famous as the Ziyun Building when Tang Wenzong renovated the Furong Garden.
STEPHANIE THOMPSON
Tang Paradise is still beautiful at night
Tang Paradise is best visited at night, with the lights adding a touch of glamour, making any casual photo shoot quite effective.
The garden design is very different from that of the south, more dignified and grandiose. The paths are wide, with plenty of shade from trees, which would be quite scorching if one were to walk around during a summer day.
Inside the garden, there are makeup shops and photographers for hire, and it's common to see men and women dressed in Hanfu taking photos everywhere.
The performances are worth watching. I arrived late and could only watch from afar by the lake. Those who bought tickets watched from a cruise, and the combination of song, dance, music, lighting, fountains, and water screens must be stunning.
Although it's a famous 5A-rated tourist spot, if you're like me, not dressing up or watching a show, just taking a stroll, it's not really necessary to spend over a hundred yuan on the entrance fee.
Traveling for Taste
Tang Paradise, I rarely use the word 'stunning' to describe a place!
🌸 Traveling from afar to a breathtaking feast, one glimpse of Chang'an in its heyday. Tang Paradise, this theme park built in the style of a Tang Dynasty royal garden, is not only the largest cultural theme park in the northwest region but also the perfect place for every visitor to experience the splendor of the Tang Dynasty.
🏯 Attraction Introduction: Tang Paradise covers an area of 1,000 acres, including 300 acres of water. The park is filled with antique-style buildings such as the Ziyun Tower, the Lady's Pavilion, and the Imperial Banquet Hall, each exuding the rich atmosphere of a Tang Dynasty royal garden.
🎉 Performance Times:

The 'Chasing Dreams in the Tang Dynasty' performance starting at 8:30 pm in front of the Ziyun Tower is a major highlight. Visitors who purchase tickets can board a boat and enjoy the show from the water, experiencing a different kind of visual delight.

A Romantic Encounter with the Ancient Capital on a Trip to Xi'an
🎒For the May Day holiday, I bid farewell to the streets of Chengdu and set foot on the ancient and mysterious land of Xi'an. Today, I am about to return to the bustling Chengdu, and I can't help but want to share the bits and pieces of this trip.
📅【Travel Recap】
🌞May 1st, the sun was just right, and I arrived in Xi'an. After putting down my luggage and taking a short rest, I couldn't wait to experience the city's nightlife. The lights of the Tang Paradise were dazzling, as if I had traveled back to the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
🌙May 2nd, greeting the first ray of morning sunlight, I embarked on the journey to the Terracotta Army. The awe-inspiring sight deepened my understanding of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's grandeur and talent. In the afternoon, I strolled through the Huaqing Palace, feeling the weight of history. At night, the performance of 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' intoxicated me, as if I had traveled to that romantic era.
🌥May 3rd, although a light rain started to fall, my boyfriend and I still decided to go out and wander. The Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, the Everlasting City, Muslim Street... We checked in along the way, feeling the unique charm of the city.
🎒May 4th, it was time to go home. After packing my luggage and having a taste of authentic Xi'an cuisine, I set off on the journey back.
💡【Tips】
📌When visiting Xi'an, be sure to make reservations in advance! Especially for popular attractions, to avoid long queues on site. College students, don't forget to bring your student ID to enjoy discounted prices!
📌Tang Paradise is really beautiful after the lights are on at night, but it's a bit too commercialized. However, it's still a great choice for taking photos!
📌It's essential to have a guide at the Emperor Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum Museum to better understand the history. Also, don't buy cinnabar in the scenic area, be careful of scams!
📌The scenery of Huaqing Palace is very natural, and the daytime photography effect is amazing! However, it's still recommended to have a guide to understand the historical background.
📌The 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' is really worth watching! The costumes, makeup, and scene settings are very meticulous, making one feel as if they are part of it. After watching the performance, remember to book a ride back to the city center in advance!
🍜【Food Recommendations】
🍜The noodle dishes in Xi'an are really large, so it's recommended that girls traveling together share a portion. The food prices inside the scenic areas are slightly higher, but the snacks near hotels and guesthouses taste good and are reasonably priced! My personal favorites are fried pancake strips and belt noodles, but the food here is a bit salty, so remember to drink more water!
🚇【Transportation Guide】
Transportation in Xi'an is very convenient, with subways and buses easily reaching all the attractions. Although sometimes there are large crowds, it's still much better than Chengdu's Line 2, haha!
🌈Everyone I met along the way was very friendly and enthusiastic, making me feel the warmth and inclusiveness of the city. Although the journey is about to end, I will treasure these beautiful memories in my heart❤️.

To attend a secular magnificent feast, to witness the splendid face of Chang'an. Some people think that the Tang Paradise is worth a visit, while others hold the opposite opinion. In my view, it indeed deserves a visit, especially the night view, which is very beautiful.

📷Photo suggestions
1⃣ Ziyun Tower: The iconic building of Tang Paradise, watching the sunset is naturally magnificent, its majestic grandeur and atmosphere are very suitable for taking photos in Hanfu.
2⃣ Cai Xia Corridor: There are two unique and exquisite pavilions on the Cai Xia Corridor, named Jin Pavilion and Yu Pavilion. The corridor itself is also suitable for taking pictures, especially better for night scene photography.
3⃣ Flag Pavilion: This is a popular photography spot in Tang Paradise, and taking photos in Tang costume has an especially good effect.
⚠Advice:
It is recommended that people with plenty of energy wear a pair of comfortable shoes for walking. Visitors with less physical strength can choose to take the scenic area's sightseeing car, which costs 39 yuan/person.
