I had tired the ATV in Phuket, although it was raining heavily, but it was so much fun. Unlike the ATV rides I did in other countries, this ATV ride was through Jungle. There are four options to choose, half hour ride, 1 hour ride, 1.5 and 2 hours ride. If you choose 1+ hours, you can visit the big Buddha as well. I think 1.5 hours ride is the best. This ATV ride is a bit challenging, especially when raining. it may not be easy for people who never rode ATV or a car. But you can still try. We visited the Big Buddha Hill in Phuket, Thailand. We stopped for lunch in our way up the hill where we enjoyed delicious Thai food with stunning views of Phuket. After lunch we continued to the Big Buddha. There is no entrance fee. There are 360 degree views of Phuket and nearby islands. You can choose to join the prayers led by the monks in one of the several shrines and get a blessing for your trip. The place is very well organised and clean. There are public toilets and also small restaurants where to buy some food and drinks. You shouldn't miss this spot when visiting Phuket. Totally recommend!

Amazing trek..completed upwards journey in 1.5 hours and down in 45mins Can be dangerous in dark or after heavy rain. Carry water bottle and get a stick with donation at the start of the trek. At the top there is place for meditation and couple of viewpoints. The head guardian of The Big Buddha himself delivers 7 mins meditation lesson.
