Moscow's great merchant, textile factory owner, cultural activist, and painting art enthusiast Pavel Tretyakov (1832-1898) had his own unique insights into art. He began collecting Russian art pieces at a young age. The 'Old Building' we visited has more than 60 exhibition halls.
