Wanda Reign 🇨🇳 Shanghai

Easily one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The view of the bund and Lujiazui from bed was special. The room had a bathtub big enough for two and an amenities list a long as your arm. The staycation package at the Wanda Reign included breakfast and dinner. The dinner buffet included; steak, artic crab legs, lamb chops, octopus and sashimi. My pictures do it no justice, but everything was excellent. For breakfast there were international, Chinese and continental breakfast stations. The rooftop bar has inside and outside space for a drink at the end of the day. They have a great selection of cocktails, whisky and beers. The staycation package isn't cheap, but I would say it's good value. Getting There- The hotel is on the bund but slightly inconvenient to a nearby metro, so I would suggest taking a taxi.

#christmaslights It was a vacation well spent! Three wonderful days and two awesome nights spent with family at a nice hotel by The Bund. Stayed at a luxurious hotel, had good food in nearby areas and spent the evenings roaming around feeling the warmth of Christmas 🎄🎄🎄 spirit. Such a pity that Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were so cold ❄️☃️⛄️we couldnt really go around much. But we managed to while away time by staying at the beautiful confines of our room. I hope to he spending more time with family and friends in future Christmases. Merry Christmas everyone! And a prosperous 2022 to us all!

From now on… I’m locking in this affordable hotel! The location is just too superior! Pudong Airport is only a 20-minute drive, Disneyland is only 25 minutes, and the subway station is just a 10-minute walk. They provide shuttle services to the airport, wildlife park, subway station, and Disneyland. The hotel’s restaurant is simply amazing! The dishes are much more varied compared to other hotels or B&Bs. When going to Disneyland, they even provide a Disneyland guide, and the service is super detailed and attentive. Hotel Environment The decor is very luxurious. The room is spacious, with great lighting, and the large screen TV projection is quite clear The bathroom has a dry and wet separation, the bathtub is quite large, and it’s very comfortable to take a bath. The mattress is large and thick, the whole house is smart, and the experience is great! Hotel Service Upon arrival at Pudong Airport, there will be a hotel car to pick you up. When arriving at the hotel, a staff member will help with the luggage and lead us to check-in. The front desk will ask about the next day’s plans and then book the hotel shuttle to Disneyland. First of all, the basic room is really ordinary, with a very poor view and severe obstructions. Don't even consider upgrading to the Yu Garden city view room, as what you will see is just a bunch of relocated houses. It's better to upgrade to the third level, the Bund Deluxe Room (the one that costs 3,000 on Ctrip), which is the 01 room type. There's only one on each floor, with a broad view where you can see both the Bund river view and the city view, feeling the contrast between the new and old Shanghai. The room also has a massage chair, and it's quite pleasant to have a deep massage while looking at the river view. Let's talk about the hotel's design. The public areas and rooms of the hotel are obviously not cheap in terms of materials used, and they don't look bad, but there's always a sense of old-fashionedness. Upon closer thought, it's somewhat similar to the European style under the last generation's Chinese aesthetic, with a lot of gold-plated faucets and crystal lamps that are exquisite but also give a sense of being outdated. The service is quite good for a hotel in this segment, I'd give it 80 points. The breakfast is not very tasty, the noodles at Songhe Tower should not taste like this, and the quality of bread, vegetables, and fruits is average. The swimming pool is not very good, neither nice-looking nor big. The Coolcore Bar on the 21st floor has a terrace, which offers the best night view of the South Bund angle.

I had the whole room to myself to use the hot tub/jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and showers. it's absolutely stunning and tranquil and they give you fruits, tea and water to enjoy whilst there. This hotel is top tier. The staff are amazing and they are there at your every beck and call. The breakfast is ridiculously delicious and it has so many western options! I truly felt pampered and I loved the personalized welcome greeting on the TV screen! #softlife

If so, you probably need to bring it to Wanda Reign Hotel's Cafe Reign for buffet breakfast, lunch or dinner. 🍰 This is the best buffet in terms of cakes and sweet things that I visited so far. 😍 🥧 The area is nice and quite spacious, there is a terrace outside with a nice garden view asked well. 👩‍👦‍👦 You can bring your kids worry free, they will be quite occupied in the kids room with video games, coloring books, toys and... their own buffet especially for kids.
