Summer Island Trip | Experience a Different Xiamen
Visit Xiamen to see the sea! I'll show you a different side of Xiamen, beautiful like a painting. This trip takes the road less traveled, offering a relaxing and light-hearted journey!
.
Route:
Spring and Autumn of the Small Town - Starlight Avenue - Star of Lujiang
.
Spring and Autumn of the Small Town - Zengcuo'an
A rising internet-famous spot in Xiamen, where you can experience the retro style of the Republic of China. Here, you can dress up in a cheongsam and pretend to travel back to the 1930s, where every photo is stunning. This town is not only a film and television scene but also a commercial area, where you can not only take pictures but also enjoy a variety of delicious foods.
Yanwu Bridge - Starlight Avenue
Hong Kong has the Avenue of Stars, and so does Xiamen! It's located above the viewing platform of Yanwu Bridge. The daytime has its own charm, and the night is even more dazzling with stars. Step through the Gate of Starlight, walk through the Starlight Corridor, and find the starlight stones with celebrity signatures and handprints. The strong movie atmosphere is worth the visit.
Viewing Kinmen from the Sea
Peace Wharf - Statue of Koxinga - World Trade Twin Towers - Yanwu Bridge - Close view of Kinmen Islands - South coast of Xiamen Bay - Sea view of Sunlight Rock - Peace Wharf
This is also a classic itinerary for a trip to Xiamen. This time, the journey is on the Star of Lujiang, which takes about 120 minutes round trip from Xiamen.
The boat has three floors; the first and second floors are inside the boat, while the third floor allows you to enjoy the sea breeze, and even make tea. Drinking tea while admiring the sea view is particularly pleasant. Before disembarking, you can also experience the culture of Xiamen's 'bobing' game.
The essence of viewing Kinmen from the sea is the ability to cross the median line and closely observe Dadan Island.
While on the boat, you can also enjoy the view of the high-rise buildings and seascape on both sides of the Lujiang River. Although it's an overcast day, the unique charm gives a sense of beauty in the mist.

A family trip to Xiamen for a seaside and sand digging amusement park route
-
This week we didn't go hiking! We went to the seaside this week~ The weather got warmer, and taking the kids to dig in the sand by the sea was so much fun!
It's a classic route, also very suitable for babies visiting Xiamen
Walk: Baicheng Beach - The parallel walkway under Yanwu Bridge - Twin Towers (nearby for rest and dining) - Shapowei - Aerospace Universe Mini Park (under the bridge at the intersection of Minzu Road and Chenggong Avenue, near Xiamen Port bus station)
-
·Baicheng Beach is actually not very crowded on weekdays, I prefer to play on the beach near the bridge, where it's shady and closer to the public toilets~
·Walking on the walkway, watching the sea buses, it's an off-the-beaten-path route~ It's recommended to walk here in the afternoon, it's so comfortable, and with some luck, you might see oxygen absorption!
·-Aerospace Universe Mini Park, a themed park is so much fun! And it has some climbing challenges, the kids are so happy playing!
-
For dining, you can find good food near Shapowei, University Road, and Twin Towers~

Shapowei, a filming location
Shapowei is the origin of Xiamen Port and has served as a sheltered harbor since the Qing Dynasty. Located to the south of Shapowei is the Nanputuo Temple and Xiamen University, and its name comes from being at the end of a long stretch of beach. The early Xiamen Port was an arc-shaped bay, with a crescent-shaped coastline and a continuous golden beach, hence the nickname 'Jade Sand Slope'. It is particularly suitable for those who appreciate cultural history and have a sense of nostalgia to visit. The now restored district blends tradition with modernity, and simplicity with fashion, attracting many people to take photos and check in, seeking a piece of history and capturing a moment of sentiment. Shapowei has been the location for numerous films and TV shows, such as 'The Beginning' and 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star', capturing its beautiful scenery on camera and drawing many young people to take photos, with its nostalgic, artistic, and retro atmosphere being particularly photogenic.

Yanwu Bridge
《Yanwu Bridge Travelogue》
Xiamen's Yanwu Bridge, this giant dragon lying on the sea, carries countless people's expectations and aspirations. When I set foot on this land, my heart was filled with excitement.
In the early morning, I came to Yanwu Bridge with the first ray of sunlight. The distant sky gradually turned pale, and the sun rose slowly from the sea level, dyeing the entire sea surface golden. Standing on the bridge, the sea breeze brushed my face, bringing a hint of coolness. The beautiful scenery in front of me was intoxicating, and I felt as if I was in a fairyland.
During the day, Yanwu Bridge is bustling with activity. The vehicles and pedestrians coming and going on the bridge form a vivid urban tapestry. The distant Gulangyu Island is clearly visible, with its red-brick green-tile buildings set against the blue sea, a sight too beautiful for words. I strolled along the bridge, feeling the vibrations under my feet and the embrace of the sea breeze, in an exceptionally pleasant mood.
In the evening, as the sun sets, Yanwu Bridge presents another scene. The afterglow of the setting sun dyed the sky orange-red, and the evening clouds on the horizon were as poetic as a painting. At this time, the sea surface was as calm as a mirror, reflecting the colors of the sky, making one feel the magic and wonder of nature.
At night, Yanwu Bridge has a different flavor. The brightly lit bridge deck is like a shining ribbon, connecting the two banks. The distant city lights are dazzling, reflecting off the lights on the bridge, forming a colorful night scene.
On Yanwu Bridge, I not only enjoyed the beautiful scenery but also felt the vitality and charm of the city. It is one of Xiamen's iconic buildings and a must-visit spot for tourists. It has witnessed the development and changes of the city and has brought endless beautiful memories to people.
Yanwu Bridge, like a bridge connecting the past and the future, made me linger and forget to return. If I have the chance, I will come again to continue exploring its beauty and mystery.

Yanwu Bridge is the closest bridge to the sea in the world. The lowest pier is only 5 meters away from the sea. It is also known as the boat floating on the sea. .
Take a taxi many times on the bridge. I only think that this road is very close to the sea, and the view is very good. When I watch it at a close distance, it is another feeling.
If you are sightseeing, you can go to the sightseeing platform of the bridge~
We are entering from the entrance No. 3, all the way, you can also see Gulangyu and Zhangzhou Port, and also watch The best location for the Petronas Twin Towers. The beauty of the
line is also fully reflected here. The curved lines extend far away and extend to the sea~
after many searches, finally find the best suitable for the twin towers. Location, you can see the bridge, you can also see the sea, the twin towers are as powerful as the land from the sea~

The Xiamen Yanwu Bridge is 2.2 kilometers long. It is a section of the Navy Pier of Xiamen Huandao Road to the Baicheng Section of Xiamen University. There are three interchanges to cross the other vehicles. The structure of the Yanwu Bridge is quite similar to that of other urban viaducts. The difference is that the Yanwu Bridge is repaired on the sea, and the bottom of the pier is full of sea water. The investment of
Yanwu Bridge reached 560 million yuan. Once opened to traffic, it became the most special landmark in Xiamen. In addition to many drivers driving through the bridge, many tourists and photographers also came to visit and take pictures.
Yanwu Bridge adopts the design style of fish-belly beam, with elliptical pier and white bridge, like a white dragon on the sea.
For the convenience of tourists, the Yanwu Bridge has a pedestrian area where visitors can take a look at the majestic view of the bridge and enjoy the nearby sea view. The Yanwu Bridge is the most drunk when the sun sets. At this time, local photography enthusiasts in Xiamen always put their feet in the right position to record the beautiful moments.
Every time around the island, the bridges and bridges are like two lingering dancers. They twist their bodies and gather the traffic together. The other side diverts the vehicles, and the geometric lines highlight the aesthetics.
In different locations, the bridge height of the Yanwu Bridge is not the same. Its lowest deck elevation is only 5 meters, which is considered to be the closest bridge to the sea level in the world.

## Yanwu Bridge
Address: Near the Navy Pier, Huandao Road, Siming District, Xiamen City
Tickets: No tickets required
Opening hours: Open all day
Located around Huandao Road The Yanwu Bridge, with an elevation of only 5 meters, is considered to be the closest bridge to the sea level in the world. At high tide, the sea water is almost flush with the bottom of the bridge.
Standing on the inaccessible viewing platform, the river on the bridge and the boat on the sea come to the boat to see the twin towers, overlooking the Gulangyu on the other side.
Dusk and night are the most fascinating times of the Yanwu Bridge. At sunset, the bridge outlines black lines in the orange-red sea, and the locals walk or exercise under the bridge. After entering the night, the bridge lights up at the starting point, and it looks like a dazzling circle of light.
In particular, in order not to affect the coastal landscape, there is no light pole on the bridge, and only the ground light attached to the guardrail is used to provide illumination.
