After exploring the gardens some more, we went on a couple of rides. The first was the ferris wheel! Who doesn't love a good ferris wheel? Feeling like you're in a flying bubble, able to see the great views from the sky!🎡 We then went on the even more thrilling swing chairs! The speed and height of the ride makes you feel like you're flying! It's amazing!😄 We got a little thirsty so mummy bought a like flavoured snow cone for each of us. It was really good and refreshing 🍋🟩🍧 We went back to the pile of snow to play in again for a little while before going tobogganing! That was a thrill too! You sit on a cushiony ring and they tell you when to go! Took a day trip tour to Hunter Valley. The best tour guide Sam drove us from Sydney central. The ride was 2 hours. Once at the farm we got to go to 2 wine tasting sampling. Each time we had around 8 glasses. This tour comes with lunch. Love how the farm feel. So peaceful. But the star of the show here is the wonderful High Cheese offerings. Similar to a traditional high tea but focusing on the various types of cheeses offered by the Dairy. Avg. Attractions - Winery, brewery and distillery all in one. Hope estate offers generous tasting options of their homegrown wine and paddles of their own beers and gin/vodka. Hotels - We stayed at the nearby Mercure Hunter Valley but there are lots of options in Pokolbin and beyond. Food & Restaurants - Hope Estate of a small and simple menu but the pizzas were fresh and delicious and definitely hit the spot while tasting. Pick up at 2:40 am, arrive Hunter Valley around 4:30 am. Check-in & briefing... We were drived for the place in 10 min...We are driving under DARKNESS! Then, it suddenly bright up as dawn comes. We wait for the technician to blow up the balloon... Finally 10 of us, in 2 compartments were in the basket of Balloon... We rise up gradually... I am scared of heights BUT I didn't fear for the whole course... Very great experience... We then have breakfast and get back to car by 9 am,; We then arrived the pick-up place by 11am !! First 3,800 metres, then 5,000 metres...but it seems not really high...

Another absolute favourite group of lights displayed were the ones that looked like sweets! They had cakes, candy you name it! And we did find them to be a little appetizing!🍭 So mummy took us to the food area where she bought us a delicious waffle on a stick with Belgian chocolate and M&Ms. The waffle was very yummy! We weren't big fans of the waffle being coated with extra sugar, that's the only negative but other than that? It's hard to get over the beautiful light displays. We saw colourful plants, flowers and hot-air balloons! In addition to that, we actually saw a Christmas ambulance! The cross was like a ribbon on a present box!🎁 There were some beautiful archways, star displays and interesting light displays that look like jellyfish!🌟 There were more lights in the food area, where there was a beautiful little castle. Mummy took us in there and it was out of this world! The first time I stayed at a hotel where kangaroos hopped right past my room door, this magical experience happened at The Lane Retreat in Hunter Valley. In the early morning, holding a bowl of cereal at the doorstep, bathed in soft morning light. Not far away by the vineyard, a few kangaroos stood quietly, curiously watching me, the "unexpected guest." At that moment, it felt as if all of nature belonged to me. I planned to visit them again the next day, but they disappeared like hermits, leaving a little regret but also a unique memory of the trip. Although Hunter Valley sounds very natural and rustic, The Lane Retreat’s design is full of modern aesthetics. The pure white buildings and clean lines create a strong structure in the vast countryside, making every snapshot look like a masterpiece.
