#biketour My bike tour through Parco dei Nebrodi in Sicily was an absolute adventure! 🚴♂️ Nestled in northern Sicily, the park is a hidden gem with stunning mountain views and rich wildlife. Starting from the town of Cesarò, I cycled through dense forests, serene lakes, and rolling hills, all while breathing in the fresh mountain air. The entrance to the park is free, which is a huge bonus for nature lovers like me! The highlight was definitely Lago Maulazzo, a peaceful lake surrounded by towering trees, perfect for a short break. Wildlife spotting was also incredible—wild boars, eagles, and the Nebrodi horses were all around. I spent about five hours biking through different trails, with Mount Etna always in the background. Pale scales and icy blue bloodlines, the dragon sealed in the canyon

White hexagonal rock pillars paired with crystal-clear river water, flowing quietly like blue bloodlines through the remnants of the fallen dragon. The greatest surprise of my trip to Sicily, Italy, was the magical Gole dell'Alcantara canyon. It was a hidden gem recommended by an old Sicilian colleague (a Frenchman with Sicilian parents) that I came to know about. The Alcantara Gorge (Gole dell'Alcantara) is located in the Alcantara Valley, nestled between the cities of Taormina and Randazzo on the island of Sicily. Rivers, waterfalls, pools, bizarre rocks, canyons, and greenery make it an ideal summer retreat for the locals! On the way to the canyon, you can also glimpse the mysterious remains of prehistoric castles (last two pictures), which are very interesting!
