An amazing experience to explore the stunning waterfalls at the Erawan National Park, Kanchanaburi
#waterfalls#100WaysOfTravel
One of the most popular falls in the country, the Erawan Waterfalls are nestled in the Erawan National Park, Kanchanaburi Province, West Thailand. There has 7 levels of waterfall, the distances between are from 10 metres up to 1,550 metres. It was quite easy hiking in the forest trails to reach the 7 waterfalls.
The park is generally quite busy every day and very busy during the week-end and public holidays. My local friend drove me there, it's about 70 km from the city centre and taken 1.15 hours drives. We came here in the early morning of weekday as there was not many visitors around. Be take noted that need to pay 20 Thb deposit for bringing water bottle and food, it could redeemed back if you have been brought back the empty water bottles, plastic bags & containers. That was helping out to keep a clean natural environment.
The waterfalls were absolutely stunning, I'm truly impressed by the scenic natural landscape along the trails. The water was clear & refreshing, perfect for swimming and taking cool photos. The most amazing experience is having the 'Fish Spa' at such natural environment.

Maple Gardens @Kanchanaburi TH
#yearofrabbit #newyearadventure #thailand
Our first trip in 2023, and our first destination is Kanchanaburi, Thailand. Kanchanaburi is a town in western Thailand about 3-4 hours from Bangkok.
Kanchanaburi has many historical sites to visit, including the famous Death Railway and Erawan Falls, etc. and the newest attraction, Maple Gardens. We were amazed by how large these bottle gourds are.
The admission fee is 120 Thb per person. You can enjoy the beautiful flowers and Longgan trees, you can also eat longgan inside for free! However, you are not permitted to bring the longan outside, just eat it there!😁🫰💕 #tripblazers
Wild Wild Wet @ Erawan Falls
A peaceful respite from the bustle of Kanchanaburi lies the seven-tiered Erawan Waterfalls, reputed to be among the most beautiful in Thailand… difficulty of access is moderate, with the top few levels featuring an ‘unpaved’ path albeit with clear signage. Lifejackets are also available for rent should you wish to swim in the clear waters, or just soak your feet for a free fish pedicure! Getting there is easy with regular buses departing from Kanchanaburi Bus Station. Totally worth a day trip for the fresh air and wonderful vibes in Amazing Thailand! 🇹🇭

massive cave in a national park!
this is one of the coolest cave I’ve been so far in the world. Phra that cave is located at a height of 726m above sea level. To get there, you need to hike up for 600m. The stairs are really steep, it is also the reason why there are not lots of people visiting I believe. it is challenging, but totally worth it ! we got the waterfall tickets, so once we got here we didn’t need to get tickets anymore. after 600m ascent, you will reach this stunning cave! there is one guide waiting for us, which guided us to walk through this dark cave. it was really fun and adventurous, we were really impressed by the size of the cave, it was enormous!! and there are lots of unknown habitats living in this cave.
the trip was fun!! strongly recommended#tripblazers #bucketlistreboot #mytripvlog

Khuean Srinagarindra National Park
Srinagarind Dam, located along the Khwae Yai River and surrounded by lushly shrouded hills, is the focal point of the serene Khuean Srinagarindra National Park. There are fewer people here than in neighbouring Erawan National Park.
The park is home to a rich assortment of animals, including civets, bats, leopards, and slow lorises, as well as spectacular cave systems with stalagmites and stalactites.
Visit the beautiful Huay Mae Khamin Waterfalls, which you can reach by boat or 4WD vehicle while you're here. The small park near the dam's viewpoint is a wonderful spot for a picnic.

Magnificent Erawan National Park
The magnificent seven-tiered Erawan Falls are the major attraction of the jungly Erawan National Park, which provides a relaxing antithesis to some of Kanchanaburi's emotionally charged historical attractions.
In a beautiful location surrounded by rich flora and limestone mountains, the water pours down the mountains. The blue pools are a beautiful site for a cool swim on a hot day, and a scenic hiking track goes up to the top of the falls (watch out for thieving monkeys along the way).
If you put your feet in the water, you might notice fish nibbling at your toes. Elephants, gibbons, and king cobras are among the numerous animals to be found in the national park. (You'll want to avoid the last one.)

Erawan Waterfall, Kanchanaburi
🚗 Erawan Waterfall is located in Erawan National Park, Si Sawat District, about a 1-hour drive from the city center. It is recommended to visit early in the morning as it gets crowded in the afternoon.
🏞 The waterfall has 7 tiers, and you can walk up to each level. Currently, the park has made the paths quite accessible with wooden stairs, so there's no climbing involved. You can swim at every tier, but you must wear a life jacket before entering the water. The life jacket rental point is at the bottom before you ascend to the first tier, so if you plan to swim, you need to rent a life jacket from the bottom.

Bangkok's Hidden Gem - Erawan National Park.
There are many beautiful national parks around Bangkok, and Erawan National Park in Kanchanaburi is one of them.
The park is dotted with seven-tiered waterfalls. Most of the visitors here are Western tourists. They are really relaxed. They walk from the first to the seventh tier, stop and go, and jump into the pool when they are tired, and they are immediately refreshed.
--
The water here is particularly clear, and there are fish in many pools! Whether it's for playing in the water, taking photos, climbing waterfalls, etc., it's very suitable. The most important thing is that it's really not hot in the big forest, it's very cool😌
The ecology here is so good, so everyone must remember to protect it. In fact, the scenic area does not allow water bottles. If you bring one, you can pay a deposit of THB 20. Remember to throw the water bottle and get the deposit back.

Tickets🎫: Foreigner tickets are THB 300, children tickets are THB 200, and one car is THB 30. Tickets can be purchased on site: The park is open all year round from 8:00 to 17:30

Seven Tiers of Waterfall in Kanchanaburi 🇹🇭
#thailandtrip
📍Erawan Falls, Erawan National Park, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
Visited the famous Erawan Falls that is located at Kanchanaburi and this place is definitely worth the visit and should not be missed when you’re travelling to Kanchanaburi. The waterfall is located inside Erawan National Park and charges of 300 Thai baht is implied per adult foreigners. There are seven tiers of waterfalls and the hike was kinda tiring with steep steps, we only managed to hike to level 4 of the waterfalls but the view was amazing! Love the emerald green colours of the fall, and that it is so huge that visitors can just jump in! Also, love that visitors can enjoy the waterfalls and the safety jackets are available for rental! Would recommend visiting this majestic and beautiful waterfall while in Kanchanaburi!
Let’s escape the heat and chase waterfalls at Erawan
#weekendgetaways Erawan Falls would make a good weekend retreat when you’re at Kanchanaburi. If you do not plan to drive or ride a bike, you can board the bus from Kanchanaburi bus station at THB 60 per 1-way trip, which I have included the bus schedule (in the photo reel) as at May 2024. You can spend minimally 2 hours ascending the different levels of the waterfall and enjoy the different views. Do budget more time if you plan to swim and/or let the fish nibble your weary feet. A point to share is the Park officials would require you to rent a life jacket before dipping into the waters, as part of safety reasons. We like this getaway because not only we get close to nature but enjoy the cool waters. Do also time your trip not to be close to the driest season, else there would not be much water to be seen.
Thailand's Maldives in Kanchanaburi
Friends, this trip I want to take you to the Maldives of Thailand, right here! It's not too far, just in Kanchanaburi. The accommodations here have stunning views on the Srinakarin Dam, with plenty of activities to do: kayaking, water sports, watching the beautiful schools of carp, and dining on a raft in the middle of the dam while enjoying the breathtaking sunset. You won't be disappointed with a visit here.
