We all know that Gardens By The Bay is a touristy place where most of the attractions like the cloud forest, flower dome, floral fantasy,, OCBC skywalk, etc.

For example, head for some art sculpture hunting located thruout the 100 over hectares of land comprising of the bay south east and central. If not, enjoy the air conditioning in the Gardens By The Bay souvenirs shop where they sell tons of souvenirs and collectable items only found in singapore. Furthermore, now its the Avatar Theme, therefor you be able to find limited edition avatar collectibles and t shirts.
If this is not enough, head out into the outdoors and look out for popup exhibitions like the kidsmania located in the centre of GBTB, go take photo at the floral clock located near the visitor centre or if plants and flowers interest you, head to all the educational signboard and standees to know more about the spices and type of flowers and plants.
The Flower Dome @ Gardens By The Bay
#singapore #flowerlover #urbanexplorer #attractions #mustvisit #gardensbythebay #flowerdome #flowers
Gardens by the bay have many attractions to choose from. But if you are looking for something reasonable at only $8-$12, you can head to the flower dome located near the ticketing counter.
Flower dome is an air conditioned place where it show cases the many different species of plants and flowers. But what is interesting is the many themes Gardens by the bay put up every 3-6 months.
For locals, we enjoy a cheaper discounted rate, but do take the chance to visit the flower dome as its showing the flowery romance of Italy. You will be able to see the iconic houses, flower decors on benches and historical replicas and the many hand sculptured love shaped flowers all around the flower dome.
Heritage Garden, Different Cultural Gardens
Gardens by the bay is known for its cloud forest and the flower dome which is the iconic attraction where most tourists and even locals go to, and these 2 attraction requires a purchase of ticket to enter.
But do you know there are several few gardens here that is totally free, just that it's in the outdoor and not air-conditioned like the cloud and flower dome. Go to the area where the heritage gardens are located very near the 2 domes.
The heritage garden trials will bring you along the Indian, Chinese and malay forest and explaining the different uses where each cultural uses the flowers and plants either as a religious offerings or just medical or herbs purposes.
This is a scenic enjoyable walk suited for both kids and elderly and even wheelchair friendly too! But I do reckon to head here early in the morning to avoid the hot afternoon sun.

Syed Alwi Road In Little India
Syed Alwi Road is popular among tourists and locals especially the Indian community where most will come here for their shopping of clothes, groceries, Indian ornaments and many more.
Also, there are many traditional authentic restaurants located along this popular bustling Syed Alwi Road here in the district of little india. During the time of festival, especially closer to deepavali, you will see the entire streets being decorated by beautiful lightings hang across the streets. It's indeed a sight to see and a place must visit in singapore to understand the different cultural needs and experiences.

The Corridor Garden
Hot Park has thus area called the corridor garden located very near the visitor centre which is similar like what you see in many of our HDB units where your corridor has many kind of different plants that home owners will plant it outside their units.
The corridor garden in hortpark has been created to replicate our city life in singapore but still able to grow ornamental plants in our common corridor spaces where you will also be able to scan a QR Code and they will guide you along. How interesting is that!

East Coast Park Lagoon(Many Food Options)
Thinking of somewhere to go this weekend? Head down to east coast park where this is the longest beach in singapore from Fort Road all the way towards tenah merah. This place is popular among joggers and cyclists especially in the morning!
After a great work out, looking for much friendlier options, you can head to the east coast park food lagoon located right in the middle of east coast park itself where most of the stores will start opening from 10am/11am in the morning.
There are wide variety of options especially towards our local sibgapore food like chicken rice, prata, carrot cake and hokkien mee, curry puff and even coconut and sugar cane for a refreshing drink!
This place will be very crowded especially during the weekends evening, even with the huge floor spaces of seating, parking too is hard to find! Do go there early if you don't intend to fight for a lot. Food here is generally good, but a bit on the pricy side due to a tourist location.

The Panda Kai Kai & Jia Jia Enclosure
The river safari had a very well known enclosure and its well talked about when visiting the river wonders at river safari.
The Panda enclosure that contains kai kai and jia jia and also the cute fluffy red pandas. These 2 animals are endangered in the wild and have to be kept in their habitat at a temperature of 19 - 22 degree Celsius. You will be able to see the red panda at a close up where at times you will see it climbing above your head.
Sadly, during our visit we were not able to see the pandas as we were told that they were feeling under the weather therefore wasn't fit for human viewing. And recently, these 2 pandas has also given birth to a cutie little panda called Le Le. Do drop by their enclosure, maybe you might have more luck in seeing them, these 2 pandas are indeed adorable. Also, there are alot of merchandises that showcases these 2 pandas, from bags, cups and even soft toys, this is definitely not to be missed when visiting river safari.

The Mama Panda Kitchen In River Safari
When visiting Rivier Safari, do make sure that you drop off at the Mama Panda Kitchen. This is a place to get your tummy filled and you will not miss this place as this is right after the kai kai and jia jia Panda enclosure in River Safari, before the long bridge cross the water.
This place is popular especially among kids as this restaurant is dedicated to the 2 adorable pandas called kai kai and jia jia who is also a star in singapore. You will be able to find food options that resembles the pandas in the enclosure, like the Panda bao that comes in 2 flavours, chocolate and custard or the main course where it comes with a bun with a chicken patty and fries, basically a burger but a Panda burger!
Kid will be entertained with this adorable design by the restaurant and what's more, this restaurant is overlooking the waters which makes this also a very chilled relax place to regain that lost energy while walking in the park.

Been to river safari located at mandai? This attraction is dedicates to mostly marine life located in the Amazon River, broken down into 6 different sections, the amazon flooded forest is one of my favourite attraction in River Safari.
The Amazon Flooded Forest showcases fishes like the Red Bellied Piranha, The Giantic but adorable mantees, The giant River otters, The electric eels and many other fishes that you can see in normal aquarium shops but much bigger than your usual sizes as you know in the Amazon everything is humongous! These are all fresh water fishes and you will be able to glance thru a glass to see them in their man made which look like their natural habitat.

Photo Worthy Spots @ Gardens By The Bay East
Many people head to main area of either gardens by the bay, satay by the bay or marina Barrage. There is an area located right across the Barrage called Gardens By The Bay(Bay East), this is a spot normally popular amongst runners or cyclists due to its many unshadded area in the park where it tends to get really hot even in the morning.
But this is a spot to visit and not to be miss as it overlooks the water of singapore's straits. One portion of the park located on the right after you cross the Barrage bridge is newly build. With many beautiful spots also overlooking the marina bay sands building and even the singapore flyer. A sight not to be miss!

World Class Chef Gordon Ramsay Reataurant
Marina Bay Sands is a popular tourists attraction for many people who visit Singapore. There are countless of up class Chinese cusine, pizza, Italian restaurant.
There is 1 particular restaurant, well known by many is the popular Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay. If you are a steak lover, this is a definite musteat place to recommend or to at least try once. Of course this comes at a price, not forgetting the amazing view of the marina bay waterfront.
We ordered a Dry Aged rib eye steak($70) and also the Sunday roast(USDA Prime Striplion - $45) that comes also with Yorkshire pudding! The bread basket they served($4) was rather reasonable, and honestly it was good, so aromatic!
So do check bread Street kitchen out when you are at MBS. Do alsp male a booking especially on weekends as I was being turned down twice before during dinner.

Cafe, Restaurant in Kampong Gelam
Singapore has an amazing Muslim community located at Kampong Gelam where once used to be called Kampong Glam.
At every corner of Kampong Gelam, there are funky mural wall arts, many pop up cafes both mainstream and non mainstream, restaurants serving authentic Greek, Turkish, Lebanese food, mostly halal due to the community located around the area. These foodie lane can be found in Bali Lane and Haji Lane, just make sure to come down with an empty stomach and leave this place with a satisfied tummy as there are so much cafes/restaurants to explore.

Awesome resort fun
Address - Resorts World Sentosa, 8 Sentosa Gateway, Sentosa Island, Singapore 098269
Resorts World Sentosa is a completely integrated resort with attractions, dining establishments and entertainment venues all in one place! The iconic ones like Universal Studios Singapore and SEA Aquarium are really popular so aim to visit on weekdays to avoid the crowds.
It is super convenient to bring your children here as well because it is fairly kid-friendly, with marked out boxes to park your prams. Also, I love that the hotels are right where the fun is so I don’t have travel too far.
However, it can be quite expensive here so make sure your budget is well-planned out first!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rainforest Lumina 2021
Rainforest Lumina 2021 (Singapore) is the final season of the ever popular Lumina enchanted night walks all over the world.
Have you wondered how the zoo looks like at night when all the animals are back to their rest areas? Or are you always fascinated by winter illumination overseas that we can’t have in Singapore?
Rainforest Lumina is the closest thing to illumination you can get to witness in Singapore even when it’s not December!
Fun right? If you haven’t seen any of the previous season, it’s definitely time for you to experience it. It may not be as comparable to what we do have seen overseas but it’s still something.

Wild wild weekend at Singapore Zoo
Had a wild wild weekend at the Singapore Zoo! It’s been years since I last visited the Zoo. The last time was probably in Primary School? And it has been over more than 15 years 🙊🙊🙊
It was truly amazing getting to reminisce the old good young times. Turned into a kid for one day and were fascinated by the animals and animal shows, especially “Splash Safari” where you get to see the sea lion performing! It was so cute and smart as well! 🦭😍 Much lovesss for this little mammal~ Do remember that you will have to do bookings for the shows two hours beforehand!
Explored the Zoo and got to visit the different animals like the varieties of monkeys, giraffe, zebra, and was even surprised to see little penguins! 🐧
Headed to the River Wonders next and yes, you wouldn’t want to miss out visiting the pandas family, Kai Kai, Jia Jia and Le Le! Lucky us got to see Kai Kai chewing on his bamboo and a glimpse of Le Le’s back! 🐼🎋
The Singapore Zoo and River Safari is definitely one of the attractions the young and old would want to visit! 🦓🦧🦘🐖🦒🦜🦋🦩🦚

rail corridor
#exploresgtogether #urbanexplorer #hiking #attractions
The Rail Corridor is also known for its rich heritage. At the beginning of the 20th century, the railway line was used for commuting and transporting goods between Singapore and the rest of the Malay peninsula. But in 2011, Malaysia returned it to Singapore, and thus another form of travelling now takes place – hiking!
With enhancement works, the trail has now been modified for easy access. Some key highlights to look forward to will include the restoration of landmarks like the Bukit Timah Railway Station, two steel truss railway bridges, lookout decks to immerse in nature’s beauty, and paths to enjoy the rainforest experience.
Pictured is the Upper Bukit Timah Truss Bridge that dates back to 1932, and remains the only Pratt truss bridge in Singapore. The Pratt truss design features a single tension diagonal in each panel and a compression vertical with parallel chords and an inclined end post. This spot indeed makes a very gram-worthy backdrop!

Bollywood Veggies Organic Farm (also known as Bollywood Veggies) is a farming collective and organic growing education center located in the Kranji district of North West Singapore.
We were here for lunch at their Poison Ivy Bistro. The restaurant is located in the farm and they use fresh produce from the farm as ingredients for the food served to customers (think farm to table concept!). We did not make any prior reservations and thus had to wait almost an hour for our turn. We took the time to luxuriously explore the plantation and throughly enjoyed ourselves, that helped work up an appetite too when we got our seats. Suggest you make a reservation first at the bistro before coming by, they can get very busy on weekends.

Japanese themed cafe in KAPmall

Momiji cafe is a Japanese themed cafe located in Kap Mall. You enter through a small door and order your food at level 1 before heading up to the sitting area located at level 2. The staircase is decorated with structures to mimic the Tori gates.
Level 2 is spacious and have 4 themed booths to reflect the 4 seasons - summer spring autumn and winter! Pre covid, they also allow patrons to put on the kimono costumes and use the props.
Food is surprisingly VERY good. The mentai pasta is delicious and the tamago sandos really blew my mind! Toast is thick, buttered richly over grill to have this crispy brown exterior but bread remains fluffy inside. The tamago is really just egg Mayo but I still cannot wrap my head around how they make egg Mayo so tasty, it’s massive so expect to create some mess while eating.
