Koh Chang in Thailand was the perfect island. we could rest at the Tropical Beach resort and got to do some exploring. There is an old abandoned resort and cruise ship on the island. Our room was right next to it, so we got go exploring. Unfortunately we couldn't get onto the ship but it's still awe inspiring. Summer trip in Koh Chang island, Thailand

August and September is low season in Thailand and I was lucky enough to get cheap flight tickets and hotel in Thailand. I took 6 hours bus from Bangkok airport and arrived to this beautiful island. It supposed to be raining season, but all my 5 days holiday, rain was only during the night time. Price for hotels and restaurants cheaper then in Pattaya and Bangkok. But not much entertainment. #islands

Why do people prefer to go to Thailand instead of Vietnam?

This is one of the kind trip to the remote destination called Lonely Beach. You have to take a ferry first from the mainland and then go there by your own transport or take a local taxi. Even better, rent the motorbike and you got your own wheels to explore the hidden paths that lie beyond the beach. The road is quite hilly towards the end, but still pretty manageable.

The white sandy beaches are perfect for soaking up the sun, and the views are simply the best 🌥👍🏻. You don't need to go anywhere else when you're here. The beautiful sea and delicious restaurants are all you need. The deck bar on the beach is the perfect place to chill with a drink, and there are plenty of activities like kayaking and paddleboarding. The photo opportunities are endless 📸. Getting to Koh Kood is a bit tricky, as you can't bring your car. You'll need to drive to Laem Sok Pier in Trat Province and take a boat. There are two options: 1. A one-hour trip for 350 baht per person, which includes transportation to various resorts. 2. A speedboat trip for 600 baht per person, which takes about 45-50 minutes and goes directly to the resort. Once you arrive, renting a motorbike is easy and most resorts offer them. Despite the journey being a bit of a hassle, it's definitely worth it for the beauty of Koh Kood. Tolani Resort Koh Kood

We absolutely enjoyed an amazing 6 days at this Koh Kood paradise. We celebrated a beautiful wedding hosted and prepared by Tolani. The staff made us feel truly special and created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. We also enjoyed many resort activities such as the fire show (the best we've seen in Thailand), BBQ nights, and Polynesian nights. The reception kept informing us about the best things to do on the island, so we got to experience the local Loy Krathong festival. They also have a lot of equipment in good condition for water sports activities, and they can help you rent a scooter if you want to explore the island on your own. The restaurant offers amazing food along with the best views. The breakfast buffet is definitely worth mentioning! We have so much to say about this place and the people who took care of us, but the biggest stamp of quality is that we will definitely visit again in the near future. It's a really beautiful and peaceful resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful even before we arrived. They communicated excellently and did everything to make us feel welcomed and cared for. We highly recommend visiting. We loved our stay and the view from the room was amazing!
