📅 Travel Itinerary Day 1: Japan → Sydney! I slept so soundly on the plane 😴 Day 2: Dinner at the Grounds of the City. The chiffon cake was sold out, but the tiramisu I had instead was delicious! The Harbour Bridge was also beautiful! 🌉 Eating Aussie beef at night and strolling around the harbour, it was a truly satisfying day 😌 My friend's guide was amazing 🫶 Day 3: Departed for Uluru. Sounds of Silence was a sunset, stargazing, and dinner tour 🌆 The sunset while sipping champagne was just blissful 🥂 For dinner, we enjoyed an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring salads, meats like kangaroo and lamb, and desserts including cake 🍖🥗 As it got dark, we turned off all the lights and it was pitch black. Time for stargazing. They taught us about the Milky Way and the Southern Cross, and it was like a starry sky I'd never seen before! 🌌 Flashlights were prohibited, so it was a shame we couldn't take photos of the food or anything else. 😢 From the PR video, I thought we'd have to wear shirts or something, but everyone was just casually dressed in T-shirts and it was fine. ☺︎ Day 4: We took a camel sunset tour. 🐪🌄 We saw Uluru and Kata Tjuta, and afterward they gave us bread and coffee! The bread was hard and traditional? ? There were signs like 🐐 and baby 🐪 all around, so it felt like a zoo. Back at the lodging, we prepared to explore Uluru! We only had about three hours, but we walked faster than the guidebook suggested, so we walked three courses, which was longer than expected, and got a good look at the cultural center! It was so much fun seeing new things like rock paintings, plants, and nests. For dinner, we had a BBQ at the Outback Hotel! 🍖 We had emu, camel, and kangaroo sausages, as well as buffalo meat! It felt strange. Day 5: After breakfast, I had a buffet and walked to a nearby observation deck for my final look at Uluru. 🥲 It was amazing. There was a shuttle bus two hours before my flight, and I took it to the airport. There was a souvenir shop and a small cafe, and the history of Uluru was posted on the wall. 🇦🇺 I returned to Sydney, and since I had about two hours until my next flight, I took the train to a nearby supermarket! Day 1 – Arrival & Settling In Touched down at Ayers Rock Airport and checked into the cozy Outback Pioneer Lodge. Did some light exploring and grabbed groceries at the IGA in Yulara’s town centre—stocked up for the journey ahead! Day 2 – Uluru Walk & Sunset Magic Joined the Mulgas Adventure 4D3N Camping Tour! Started strong with a base walk around the iconic Uluru, soaking in its cultural significance and textures up close. The evening ended with a breathtaking Uluru sunset—unreal colours lighting up the sky. Day 3 – Kata Tjuta & Restricted Beauty Woke up early for a stunning sunrise over Uluru, then headed to Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) for a hike through the majestic domes. Some areas had photo/video restrictions to respect Anangu culture—truly a place to experience, not just capture. Day 4 – Kings Canyon & Outback Stars Tackled the Kings Canyon Rim Walk—a highlight of the trip! Towering cliffs, ancient rock formations, and breathtaking views. At night, we camped under a canopy of stars—stargazing in the Outback is next level ✨ Day 5 – Culture & Lights Returned to Ayers Rock Resort, visited GOCA (Gallery of Central Australia) for local Aboriginal art, then ended the day with the dreamy Field of Light installation by Bruce Munro. Although I have seen countless photos of this big rock on social media, I was still shocked when I saw it in person! The rock changes color at sunset, which is amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't join the stargazing tour and missed the chance to take close-up photos of Uluru under the Milky Way. Some tips: 1️⃣ The highest temperature in Uluru is 35-36°C from October, so most day tours start at 4 am, which is really early! If you can't get up early, I suggest you go in winter. 2️⃣ You must stay at Ayers Rock Resort. The nearest town to Uluru, Alice Springs, is 500 km away, which is too far.

Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is located in the middle of Australia. The most famous is Ayers Rock, which is known as the heart of Australia and the navel of the world. The Japanese drama "Crying Out Love in the Center of the World" was filmed here. Many fans of the drama would come here to check in, so many people also call it "the center of the world." "Uluru" is the name given to it by the local Anangu people, while "Ayers Rock" is the name given to it by the Australians, both referring to this huge rock~ Ayers Rock is 335m high and about 9.4km in circumference.
