I am a single mother homeless with two children and was finally relieved thinking I found a place that we can call home until we got on our feet. When I booked our studio I asked the consultant if there were any time restrictions on stays here and was told no only that after every 28 days you have to renew your stay. When I checked in I asked the lady at the front desk and was told the same thing. Two weeks into my stay I went to the front desk to pay my extension and was told my room was given away by the manager Prasand fortunately the lady was able to fix the issue because of the incident i asked her again about the policy and she confirmed there are no time restrictions I expressed to her that I had intentions on staying for some months because my family and I will be moving out of state the beginning of 2023. She gave me a rental agreement that held our unit for us with a departure date for then. I went down to the front desk this morning prasand was the attending front desk and told me that I have to leave on the 28th day for 48 hours due to HIS policy. I tired to explain to him that I was told otherwise and had no where else to go and he said regardless of what I was told he determines how things are done in his hotel. I contacted the resolutions department the lady I spoke to contacted him with me on the phone and he told her it was a NEW policy he put in place because there are people in the past that have had trouble paying . That does not pertain to me in anyway, I’ve have never caused any conflict I work 6 days a week most days from 4pm to 12 am and I’ve always paid on time . I began asking tenants about their stay and came to find out that most have been here 3, 4, even 7 months and have only had to renew every 28 days which is what I was told when I moved in. I read multiple reviews on this location and one thing is obvious prasand has horrible customer service and a pattern of discrimination. I would like to add the staff are very nice always pleasant but he is a problem and needs to be removed playing with peoples lives especially children is wrong!! I have my copy of my rental agreement I hope my formal complaint can be resolved to help us for my children’s sake and for anyone he tries to do this to in the future.
