My friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!

This hotel is conveniently located right by the highway, which is great for self-drivers. There's a gas station, supermarket, and restaurants just outside. They did email me to cancel my booking right before check-in, but thankfully, after contacting Ctrip, I was able to check in smoothly. The hotel environment is quite nice, and you can see the stars at night. The room facilities are pretty basic, but everything you need is there. It's perfectly acceptable for self-driving travelers who aren't too picky.

The room is perfect. The hotel provides free parking, which is very convenient for self-driving tourists. The hotel room is very clean and comfortable, the bed and pillow are very comfortable, the bathroom has a heated towel rack, and a makeup remover cloth that is rare in New Zealand, and it is equipped with multiple chargers, which is very thoughtful. The best thing is the spa massage bathtub, the water temperature is super hot, the massage force is very strong, and it is very comfortable!

Had a great stay ! The motel room was clean and tidy,and the staff were really friendly.The bef was very comfortable,and the kitchen was well equipped with all the cooking utensils we needed. Would definitely stay again

The location is easy to find, and parking is super convenient, right in front of the room. The room has a kitchen, which was very important for us as we like to cook our own meals. The owner is Chinese and speaks Mandarin, which was a huge plus. Overall, it was a great stay!

Spacious and good. The next day, I returned a rental car from Christchurch Airport. I was wondering if I would sleep in the city or outside. I was good at choosing this place. Save the cost and the hostel is very spacious. There's time to go to the airport, and we're walking around the valley of Hutshan. I had a rice cooker at a Korean restaurant.

Overall was good. Although late check in but the receptions still gave a very clear instruction. We got the ground floor room, and the car may just parked infront of the room. Super convenient to move our luggage. The location also very close to downtown.

🌟 The first time I stayed at the motel, it was clean and tidy, and the equipment in the room was relatively complete and clean. The whole area has neat lawn greening and flowers, which looks pleasing to the eye. The owner Peter said that their couple had taught English in Tianshui, Gansu for several years. He also liked that guests from China would give fresh milk when checking in. The accommodation did not provide breakfast, but Peter said that he could drive us to the nearby coffee for 2 minutes after 9 o'clock the next morning. The store had breakfast, and later the time was too fast to have a chance to eat. He drove us very kindly to the car rental store near the airport. 🌟 The cost of Uber from Christchurch Domestic Airport to the hotel is 27.36 New at 10:30 pm. 🌟 The check-out time is before 10 o'clock in the morning. The house project next door also started at about 9:30. The art studio room on the 15th faces north. The sound of the surrounding high-speed traffic does not affect sleep at night. It will be clearer to stand at the door in the morning.

The big brother at the front desk was very friendly, took the booked room and told how to wash the car in the yard. The room facilities are very new, the kitchen supplies and facilities are very complete, and the room size is very suitable.

good location. with free parking slot. the room is big. only one point, the room is at 2nd floor which if it is at 1st floor that will be better.
