Really great location within Furong Town as it is roughly located in the middle with easy access to nearby restaurants and performances. The staff are very friendly and helpful with problems if you have any. It was amazing that the toilet had a bidet which was a useful amenity. Additionally the balcony view was great for eating skewers and listening to the water stream. The beds are comfortable with 2 pillows provided. The breakfast is good for the morning with many options available. The pick-up from the station was great and convenient leaving you stress free, also providing transport to the station for a small fee which felt worth the amount we paid. The owner also left us a small gift which was really nice. Overall a good experience would come back here.

Very friendly staff. Location is right on the riverside, slightly away from the main bridge area. Good view. We had three queen bedroom which was very comfortable. Received one complimentary traditional dress for 2 hours which was a bonus. No breakfast at the property though. No in-room refrigerator if that matters.

I don’t really have much pictures, but the hotel was very clean, the air con and everything else was working perfectly fine. The best thing about this hotel was how kind and extremely helpful the staff were, held my luggage, came back to tell them I’ll take a little longer and eating nearby. They gave me a portable charger. And they planned a full itinerary to enable me to complete Grand Canyon Park, Tienmanshan, and the National Forest park in 2 days. Only thing to note, is that the rooms usually have 2 beds minimum so it’s perfect for groups.

This hotel is worth every cent, the rooms are clean and tidy with beautiful decor. It is nicely located close to the entrance of the town and provides an amazing view to the waterfalls. I would totally recommend a visit to this place; The best part was how helpful and attentive the staff is providing ease to schedule transport to and fro the station, notes about the town and helping carry all the luggage

The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to assist us with planning activities and handling bookings. They were consistently responsive to all our enquiries, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. The location was exactly as described—peacefully situated near the forest, offering a relaxing and natural setting. One area for improvement would be the availability of more vegetarian-friendly food options. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely book here again when revisiting the area.

The hotel is really cool. I loved it. Very clean, well organized, robots bring you food to your room, near metro station, near the pedestrian area, is in a perfect location. The girl in the lobby reception are super friendly and they will help you in anyway possible. Remember to ask for your free welcome cocktail 😉. Jing made me mine and it was delicious. She was wonderful. Help me out with all the questions I had about transportation, restaurants and guidance in general. She and all her colleagues are doing an amazing job. Even if their English is not the best, they do everything possible to understand you and help you out with all your questions. Highly recommend 100%. Thnx

Hilton is a trustworthy brand. I stayed at three Hilton properties in Changsha and Zhangjiajie, and among them, Hilton Garden Inn was the last and the best experience. Its excellent location combined with a complimentary room upgrade and top-notch service truly stood out, even though it wasn't the cheapest (the other two were also Ctrip 4-diamond rated). The staff were proactively polite and offered thoughtful touches like tea and congee. After hiking Tianmen Mountain, they even thoughtfully provided a foot-soaking tub. The room was clean and tidy, making for a comfortable and peaceful stay, and the buffet was the most extensive. I frequently saw notes in the self-service laundry area requesting 'laundry and drying to be delivered to room [number]' and noticed laundry bags hanging on door handles, a clear sign of a quality hotel recognized by foreign guests. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend Atour S Changsha Wuyi Square (formerly Hunan Provincial Grain Bureau Old Site)! This Soviet-style red-brick historical building from the 1950s, a Chinese 20th-century architectural heritage, perfectly preserves its original stone plaques, five-pointed star gatehouse, retro red walls, and era-specific slogans. It offers a unique historical charm amidst the bustling city, with tranquil and elegant courtyards and a strong cultural atmosphere. The biggest surprise was that the entire hotel was completely free of the musty smell common in old buildings or any renovation odors. The ventilation and sanitization were impeccable. The guest room furnishings were warm and soft, with thoughtful and meticulous arrangements, making for an exceptionally relaxing and comfortable stay. It completely sheds the impersonal feel of traditional hotels, providing a strong sense of home and belonging. The service was warm and attentive throughout: Front desk staff, Jiarong, handled check-in efficiently and gently, patiently guiding us on nearby attractions. We highly recommend the in-house photography service, Wei Yu Travel Photography; photographer Xiao Ming was very professional, actively guiding poses and selecting the best angles, and the final photos exceeded our expectations. When checking out and arranging for refunds and luggage storage, Miss Muhuo was meticulous and thoughtful, handling everything perfectly. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was top-notch. Staying in a historic old house and enjoying a comfortable and thoughtful travel experience, I left with a fantastic mood. This is definitely my first choice when visiting Changsha!

This is a wonderful hotel! It's located in the center of the ancient city. The view from the balcony is stunning. The hotel has a very friendly atmosphere. The girls at the reception and the main lady are always happy to help you with anything you need. They arranged a transfer from the train station and found a driver to take us to the hotel. We then arranged for the driver to take us to Tongren Airport the next day. A little about the driver: Reliability, good attitude, quick response, and a reasonable price for the service. About the room: Very beautiful interior and design. Clean and snow-white bed linens, soft pillows, and comfortable beds. Good plumbing in the bathroom. There are rubber slippers. The shower has good water pressure and excellent towels. Hotels in the ancient city usually provide disposable towels, but this hotel had regular, good towels. I was very happy about this. 😊 The tea area and balcony access are separate, aesthetic spaces for enjoying the atmosphere of the ancient city and immersing yourself in the culture. A tip for travelers with sensitive hearing: stay out late and enjoy the night views, and use earplugs before bed. The hotel is located in the center of the ancient city, so be aware that there are many cafes nearby with loud music—an integral part of the evening atmosphere. Our room was on the 4th floor. There is no elevator, like many hotels located on both sides of the river. This is a unique and exclusive feature of this place. We knew about this, and it wasn't a problem for us. I recommend this hotel!

The room was spacious and clean, and it was dry and odorless despite the humid weather. It offered a first-row view of the Tuojiang River. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, including high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off. The breakfast was rich, varied, and delicious! They also helped with planning our ancient town itinerary. The butler service was truly excellent! Definitely worth staying again next time! Highly recommend to friends. 100% satisfied with the experience!
