Direct access to Panmen Scenic Area A standout perk is its location right beside the historic Panmen Scenic Area, home to ancient gates, pagodas and canals. Suzhou Railway Station is only a short drive away and the nearest metro station is about a five‑minute walk, making it straightforward to reach popular gardens and business areas without losing that peaceful “garden retreat” base.

I highly recommend this hotel for several reasons: 1. I'm a light sleeper when traveling for business and need a very quiet environment. The manager switched me to a quiet room, and I slept wonderfully. 2. All the staff members, from the front desk to the manager and even the security guard at the entrance, were incredibly friendly, greeting guests warmly and always ready to help. It's the first time I've ever felt so completely at home in a hotel. 3. The breakfast was delicious, and they even offer free late-night snacks. 4. The bathrooms are well-equipped with disposable toilet seat covers, and the 'Ermupu' facial towels are a nice touch. Strongly recommended! It's much better than the Hilton I stayed at last time. Everything was top tier. From the check-in where I was upgraded to a river view room, the clean, spacious and inviting room to the service and superb breakfast. The view from the restaurant was amazing. This was my pre birthday trip and the Hyatt made it so special. I even got a slice to birthday cake. The lady at the front desk who checked me in spoke really good English and was so kind and caring and she’s also a Gemini 😁🎉 I would 100% recommend and come back here.

During the New Year's Day holiday, I was planning a trip to Nanjing and compared various hotel chains. Ultimately, I felt that Jinling Hotel had the best location, so after reading reviews, I booked a room in the Asia Pacific Tower. The hotel's location is fantastic; it's just a two or three-minute walk from Exit 6 of Xinjiekou Metro Station. Whether you're taking a taxi or the metro, nothing feels far away. Upon entering the room, I was impressed by the thoughtful layout and excellent facilities. The mini-bar was complimentary, and even the AHAVA toiletries were a pleasant surprise. After using them, my hair felt voluminous and my scalp wasn't itchy or dry – I even asked about the price because I wanted to buy them for home, haha! The concierge and housekeeping services were also top-notch. I order a lot of takeout, often several at once, and it's reassuring that the concierge department verifies the room number and name. When the robots are busy, the concierge staff personally deliver the food. Yesterday morning, when a concierge staff member brought my takeout, he noticed a bag of my previous takeout outside my door and kindly took it away – I really appreciate his attentiveness! When taking a taxi, the concierge also helps with opening and closing car doors and carrying luggage. The housekeeping hotline was very responsive; when I mentioned my pillow was too soft, they promptly provided me with a suitable latex pillow. The cleaning lady thoughtfully tidied my small desk and even left extra bottled water. All these little touches are examples of excellent attention to detail and warm service. Jinling Hotel will definitely be my first choice when I visit Nanjing again.

This was my second stay, and it was just as great as the first. The hotel is right in the Old East Gate scenic area, surrounded by delicious food, and getting around is super convenient. The service attitude is consistently attentive and thoughtful; they're always ready to answer any questions. Since it was late autumn, they even gave me a beautiful autumn leaf artwork when I checked out, which I absolutely loved!

Facilities: Building 3, room amenities are average, but the bedding is good. The corner room has great natural light, and the breakfast restaurant is ordinary. Next time, I'd like to try other buildings. Cleanliness: The room's cleanliness was decent, but the restaurant's hygiene wasn't great. The cups weren't clean. Environment: Superb! The Chinese garden is beautiful, and each building serves a functional purpose, feeling very lived-in and authentic. You don't even need to go to the scenic area to experience the Chinese aesthetics of Slender West Lake, and Quyuan is an excellent restaurant. Service: I realized I'd forgotten my cherries in the fridge after checking out. I contacted the hotel, and they kindly held them at the front desk for me. The service I received throughout this process was excellent.

This is the most comfortable hotel we've stayed at, and the kids absolutely loved it! Besides the hot springs, there are also small animals, arcade games for children, and even a beach, making it truly ideal for families of all ages. What's even better is that Slender West Lake is directly opposite the hotel, just a short walk away – super convenient! Every staff member at the hotel was also incredibly friendly and approachable. Knowing we had children, they thoughtfully and proactively provided kids' slippers and toiletries, which was a very kind gesture. Overall, our stay was very comfortable!

The location is excellent, and the high-floor view is quite good. The afternoon tea included in the Trip.com package was incredibly good value for money, I just forgot to take a picture before eating it. The room is quite spacious, clean, and tidy. The facilities aren't brand new; there's no high-speed hairdryer or smart toilet, and the power outlet next to the desk was a bit difficult to open. There's only one tissue box, placed on the vanity. However, these are minor issues and don't really matter; they're easily adjustable. What I found unacceptable were two problems. Firstly, the elevator shaft connecting the suspended lobby to the first floor constantly emitted a whistling wind sound, which was noisy and unsettling. Secondly, I'm not sure if the air conditioning system is old and ineffective, or if they're saving energy and haven't turned it on properly. I couldn't adjust the temperature or mode. Outside, the temperature was dropping fast, nearing zero degrees, yet even with the in-room AC control set to 28°C, there was still no airflow. I called the front desk, and it took an age for someone to arrive. They pointed a forehead thermometer at the vent, it beeped, and they claimed the vent was blowing 26°C, saying there was no problem and that this was the set temperature, controlled centrally by the hotel. The problem is, I had the whimsical idea to hold a paper-thin tissue up to the vent, and it didn't even flutter.

This was a great trip! Families with kids and friends traveling together can confidently choose this hotel. I took two kids by myself during the autumn break and wasn't disappointed. We stayed for 3 nights, and they even upgraded my room. I'll definitely pick this place again next time. Downstairs at breakfast, kids can easily find something to eat, so you can just wake up and head down. We also visited Hongshan Zoo, which was a good fit for us, and getting to the high-speed train station was convenient.

New hotel, friendly staff but is going to be outdated soon. Bad sound proofing , lots of drunk Chinese people shouting in the corridor at night time. The breakfast variety is so poor for Europeans. Please teach your staff in the restaurant to cook sunny side up eggs and refill the dishes without reminding. Overall, it’s not “real Hilton” experience.
