Fast checkin. Great value considering quality and prices in the surrounding area. Comfortable stay. Didn't go to the restaurant but nice to have it handy as nothing to eat nearby. But 15 minutes walk gets you to some great eateries. Happy to stay here again! Oh, and rooms had some interesting mindful features (seem pics) đ«¶

I expected much better service from a branded hotel like this, but the front desk staff were quite subpar and didn't seem willing to help at all.
Also, the hotel's setup for requesting room cleaning easily causes misunderstandings. On our second morning, we clearly took down the âDo Not Disturbâ sign before going out, but the room was left uncleaned. When I called down to get fresh towels and mentioned this, the front desk tried to shift the blame to us, claiming we never took the sign down.
On a positive note, I have to praise the housekeeping staffâthey did a great job and kept the room sparkling clean.

I was a bit hesitant on the first night because the hotel was so incredibly cheap, which is great. But after staying for a night, the experience was fantastic. I have a small suggestion: you can ask the front desk to be placed near the elevator, as many rooms are quite far back and a long walk, making it easy to get lost.
It was an easy place to locate and within the notable bus routes especially when one wants to visit the Man United Stadium. My only concern was not having a heater in the room already and an iron station fitted. Apart from that, the service was top notch.
The hotel's location served our trip's purpose perfectly, and the buffet was truly outstanding. It offered a wide array of food options, all included in the hotel's charges. I would enthusiastically choose this hotel for future stays.
The hotel location is ideal within the grounds of Old Trafford cricket ground and not too far from the motorway and was easy to find. Car parking was free which is excellent for being close to a city centre.
The check in staff were helpful and the room was clean and moder with sufficient storage. The price to upgrade breakfast was reasonable.
The downsides were the cooked breakfast didn't taste great, sausages and bacon weren't great quality and I've had tastier hash browns in other hotels. Choice is fine though fairly limited and fresh fruit didn't look appealing. Pastries were good though, especially pecan twist.
I could not get the wifi to work the whole time I was there, (even with a Hilton Honours account) and phoned Reception and they said to keep trying and it would connect, but it didn't. The person at checkout eventually managed to sort it, but was too late by then.
The view from my room was unfortunately literally a building sit (though at breakfast you do get an excellent view of the stadium in the restaurant. You can hear the trains at night but only softly. The shower was not very powerful and is a movable hose so kept moving at an angle even when in free standing mode.
.Overall, a reasonably good stay, but would expect more from a Hilton.

This room was actually designed for guests with disabilities, so it's very spacious, making it comfortable for anyone to stay in. The hotel's location is unbeatable, right near Piccadilly and just a 3-minute walk away. Beyond football, Manchester is quite charming to explore; the University of Manchester campus and several libraries are truly stunning.
Hotel Pool has now beeb decommissioned and no longer operational. Gym was available but not much equipment available. During my stay there was a maintenance malfunction resulting in two whole floors of the building having to endure loud drilling noise throughout the night as no onsite maintenance team to fix. Had to move rooms at 11pm and entire floor one stank of ******** - concierge advised the hotel have this problem frequently but they are unable to police guests who are smoking **** in their rooms. Not the best five days business trip overall although menu was great and staff were very friendly. Daily car parking charge of ÂŁ5 per night for guests should be abolished in my opinion.
Experience an abundance of unparalleled facilities and features at Travelodge Manchester Birch M62 Eastbound. For visitors traveling by automobile, complimentary parking is available. During leisurely days and evenings, on-site amenities such as daily housekeeping enable you to fully enjoy your accommodation. Kindly note that smoking is prohibited in the hotel to ensure fresher air for all visitors. At the hotel, an assortment of easily accessible and delicious meal choices are available to satisfy your appetite whenever it strikes. At Travelodge Manchester Birch M62 Eastbound, guests can access vending machines that provide light snacks and beverages 24 hours a day.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. We were a little disappointed, however, that we were unable to have a drink at the bar (even though there were lots of seats available) without pre-booking. Maybe guests should be informed of this when booking. Otherwise, we had a good time.

SSaransklipi[âThe hotel is right next to the airport, which is super convenient for travel. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the service was warm. It's a worry-free stay if you're catching a flight, and it offers great value for money.â,âThe location is excellent, just a 3-minute walk to the airport. GGuest UserOverall, it was a good experience. Ideally situated for JetPark Ringway, but getting to the upper level of the hotel car park isn't clearly signed, and parking spaces are tight.
GGuest UserStaycity is great, although they duplicate charged me which I have already paid thought agent earlier. Agent helped me to contact Staycity and they corrected it immediately. When I arrived Staycity, they knew and told me the money would be refunded to my credit card shortly.
Staycity is my second time to stay, it is convenient, clean, kitchen, bathroom, beddingâŠ.. room size, everything is great. I absolutely will recommend my friends to stay here when they visit Manchester.
CChiyudejiaoziThe room was tiny, only big enough for two beds. However, it was very clean and just a 6-minute walk from Manchester Airport, plus it was easy to find by following the signs. Ibis and Holiday Inn are actually right next to each other, door to door. Most people just stay a night before an early flight, so it perfectly meets basic needs. I arrived at the hotel at 11 PM and left for the airport at 5 AM the next morning. It was affordable, highly recommend!

TTheVoyagerThe room was clean and cosy and front-desk was friendly and responsive. We booked mainly to check out the pool, spa and gym as advertised by the hotel. So it was really disappointing when we found out that these facilities were closed on Xmas day and on other days operated at limited hours when we were there. The pool, sauna, steam room and gym are operated by a separate company from the hotel. That meant operating hours of those facilities are not catered for hotel guests at all. And it also meant sharing the facilities with members of the gym. So if youâre thinking of staying here and using the gym or pool, just bear those things in mind. Breakfast selection was quite limited. Very bare selection of any salads or greens. Quite embarrassing as well to see that clean plates were not available several times when there were less than 20 covers at breakfast. I understand it was the holiday season and the hotel is understaffed. But Iâm sure this is not the first Christmas or NYE the hotel has encountered.
Ttraveller2002Absolutely loved our stay at The Midland Manchester â everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and couldnât do enough for us. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely looked after, and the service throughout was faultless.
The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud â we had some of the best nightsâ sleep weâve had in ages! The room service was prompt, professional, and the food was delicious â a real treat after a long day exploring the city.
Speaking of relaxing â the spa was absolutely divine. Clean, calming, and wonderfully designed, it was the perfect escape. The massage was one of the best Iâve ever had â incredibly soothing and tailored to perfection. If youâre in need of some proper pampering, this is the place to be.
Location-wise, you couldnât ask for better. Right in the heart of Manchester, everything is within walking distance, yet the hotel still manages to feel like a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle.
All in all, The Midland is a true gem. Comfortable, elegant, and run by an outstanding team. Weâll absolutely be back!

Ccindy0072I discovered this hidden gem by accident. I had almost given up on finding a hotel that was close enough to the airport as well as to local shopping and had ac. There are only two things I have a problem with in regards to this place. Please note there is not an elevator or lift as the UK states. The other draw back is there is no way to shield the light in the bathroom area. It is hard to describe. There is a beautiful glass door to the right and left in the bath area with a sink in the middle of the space. If one has to get up to use the facilities the light being turned on glares in the face of the other one in bed. One other note is to be careful when closing the glass door. When I closed the door, my finger got closed in the door and it actually cut my finger below the cuticle. After 3 days, my finger is blue and sore.
While the hotel is directly under the local airport's flight pattern, we never heard planes unless we were outside.
The grounds are astounding as is the building itself. Make sure to check out the artwork throughout the place. If you like hidden staircases, watch out.
The place appears to be kid friendly. There is a fabulous playground adjacent to the property. Make sure to purchase duck food for the locals.
The bar, while somewhat limited in its offerings, was suitable for us. As to cost, the prices were comparable if not better than other bars/pubs we have visited..
We did not dine in the restaurant, but from what I say, the food looked amazing. The young man working reception was so very nice to help with our luggage as well as anything else we may have needed. The young ladies working in the bar were also very nice. In fact, they were so embarrassed by my asking to take their photo. They said no one had ever asked to take their photo.
