This is my second visit to the Quartz for medical tourism. The location is perfect in a nice part of town and the upper plaza has its own level connected to the New City Medical building and so medical offices are easily and safely accessible to guests. Pool and spa were well maintained and a beautiful garden is also out in the area. Within walking distance is a market and a ****** and little shops. Taxis are easy to find should you need. The rooms are exceptionally clean with comfortable robes and attention to details like lighting and temperature. The staff is pleasant and there is always someone who speaks English well enough to communicate. They are friendly and helpful. There is an upscale Spa and artist feel to the place. I will be back.

Disadvantages: This hotel is in the city center, the traffic volume is relatively large nearby, the sound insulation effect of the room is not ideal. Another point is that this hotel does not provide breakfast (it is a high-class hotel nearby, after all, the accommodation fee is so high) Advantages: Excellent location, convenient transportation, close to the airport and long-distance bus station. The best place to enjoy the lively, diagonally opposite the hotel is a well-known RIO shopping plaza, which has Adi Nike stores, well-known cosmetics stores, Apple stores, etc., a small partner who knows Spanish, about a Mexican girl. In the Spanish-style love movie (about), there is a Starbucks coffee shop under the hotel. You can have a cup of matcha star ice music (personal preference) in the afternoon. If you can’t sleep at night, you can also think of your sister. Come to the small bar next to the hotel lobby for a drink, and have a good night's sleep. Maybe there will be an affair in your dreams. Last reminder: Tijuana is a relatively bad border city in Mexico (the murder rate of drug abuse is high), so nothing to run around.

The room was decent, the soap and shower gel were good. There is a shuttle, but you need to book in advance, and it is provided at a fixed time, not on call. The quality of service depends entirely on the attitude of the front desk staff. Some are very good, while others are very average and not very friendly. But it is still reliable. It is a 10-minute drive from the airport.

The hotel should have been newly renovated in the past two years, very new, good facilities, swimming pool and gym. Breakfast is not bad, there are many varieties. The room area is really large, the health is good, and the network is very fast. Near the hotel is a few relatively large plazas, and there is a Wal-Mart, which is very convenient. The 260-degree Korean buffet barbecue next to it is super delicious. The per capita tip is more than 100 yuan. The quality of the meat is much better than all the same price barbecue I eat in China. The price is OK, I feel a little higher than many holiday Inns in China, and I will stay on a business trip next time.

GGuest UserAfter an extensive, comprehensive evaluation of the hotel, here is my all-embracing review. Nestling off the bustling main artery, the hotel presents an intriguing blend of tranquility and proximity - a feasible oasis in the city that never sleeps. Whisked away from the vying sounds and frenzied pace of the city, I was quite stirred by the subtle charm the location exuded. However, the first impression that the undersized lobby casts is reasonably disappointing. A scanty, compact 300 square feet area, serves as the reception to this behemoth of 30 plus rooms. The minute scale of the lobby conveys a sense of congestion and leaves you yearning for a breath of spaciousness. This confined area undoubtedly generates an air of claustrophobic discomfort. It's a flimsy prelude to the expanse that a 30-bedroom hotel should authentically represent. A walk through the confined corridors leads you to the rooms which, regrettably, also echo the narrative of limitation. As you move deeper into the quarters, the crimped dimensions unfold rather starkly. One can't help but consider the bathrooms as a mere afterthought. Suited to the needs of a minimalist, their size threatens to confine rather than accommodate. With showers that barely offer free movement, it's a restroom experience that is far from luxurious. Furthermore, the room size itself epitomizes compact living. The accommodations, restricted in their realm, leave scant room for sprawling comfort. However, it's worth mentioning that for lone travelers or those with a penchant for coziness, the small room size can be a unique allure. On a brighter note, this diamond in the rough does hold a surprising facet at its zenith. The roof of the hotel unfolds a panoramic view of the urban tapestry. Eyes meeting the skyline, skyscrapers standing tall like guard posts, and the city lights dancing to the beats of a never-ending nightlife, endow an unforgettable experience. Therefore, despite the hotel's petite dimensions and limited amenities, this aspect proves to be an intriguing silver lining. Thus, to encapsulate, the hotel encapsulates an interesting dichotomy - of limited space and extensive views. It's an experience that tests your penchant for comfort against your desire to be close to the city's arterial pulse. Undoubtedly, this hotel might not be the epitome of luxury, yet it offers elements that appeal to certain tastes while enhancing one's city stay with invaluable city vistas.

GGuest UserWell, knowing that this hotel belongs to the Marriott family, it is surprisingly basic. Of course clean but with little care in the interior, the lights the way the customer is received, in general, small things make life better, and here at this Marriott could have been improved very easily. In Tijuana people travel by Uber or taxis from the hotel for many reasons, especially because of poor public transportation, thus, customers wait in the hotel lobby for their taxis, and many customers can coincide at the same time, and there is only a sofa and two armchairs (3 squeezed and 2 like Winston Churchill in single seats) and nowhere else to rest yourself or your bags. This is making the experience a bit off a sort of train station-ish platform. The breakfast is acceptable, providing all you need, but the the dinning area is very dark, badly lighted, to be honest you can’t hardly guess the time at all. The furniture there is very cheap, and doesn’t make you feel I want to read tye newspaper while having breakfast but I just want to finish and leave this 7/11 store. I am sure that I might sound a bit picky, but I am not, it is very easy to make small changes, non expensive that can improve the whole experience greatly. It is a Not a cheap place to stay, let’s remember this.

GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our stay with a few minor exceptions. Unfortunately the TV in our room didn’t work eventhough it was connected to wifi. The phone in the room didn’t work so we had to use our personal phones. The shower head is a rainfall type, but the water sprayed out in all directions instead of straight down which made it a little tricky to shower. The rooms have a system in which the room key is required to have electricity in the whole room. If you take it off, everything turns off. That means you can’t leave things charging unless you get a second key? We also were told that we could check out later the day off, but that was not an option because the hotel was so booked. Even though there were a few icks, it was overall a nice place to stay. The staff are very friendly and respectful. The bed is comfortable, the sheets smell great, the rooms are very clean, and the building is beautiful! It has a 5ft pool and a small jacuzzi (no bubbles) just warmer water than the pool. Pool water is great temperature. There is also a spa and massage services on the very first floor! Overall a nice place and I’d recommend it!

YYUSUKEWhen I got to the room, it was clearly not cleaned. I was immediately changed to a different room, but perhaps the cleaning staff and the front desk did not work well together. I understand that there are times when the hotel is quiet, but the front desk staff and parking attendants were sitting on the sofas in the lobby, busy playing with their smartphones and chatting. I felt relieved that the rooms were card-keyed instead of cylinder-keyed, but I was a little worried that the rooms were structured so that the floors were accessed by stairs. The front desk staff did not seem to be keeping an eye on people entering and leaving in particular. This was my first visit to Mexico, and I have never stayed in other hotels, so I cannot say for sure, but for some reason there was a window facing the hallway. Of course, there were blackout curtains, so the inside of the room could not be seen from the hallway, but it was a little bothersome. Maybe it was so that in the event of an emergency inside the room, the window could be broken to enter? The room was clean and spacious for the price. Another plus point was that there were two bottles of water. The bed was quite soft, so some people may hurt their backs. The floors are all smooth stone, so it feels clean. However, be sure to wipe the soles of your feet after a shower. I almost slipped and fell (lol). Maybe the room I was given was the wrong one, but it was a room facing the inside of the building, so there was no view from the window. The location is very convenient, about one and a half blocks into a side street from Revolución Avenue. At night, all the side streets are darker and there are fewer people than Revolución Avenue, but I think the street lights in front of this hotel are brighter than other side streets. There is a 24-hour drugstore at the intersection one block from Revolución Avenue, and there were no homeless people sleeping on the street, so as long as you pay attention to other people's movements, you should have no problems in terms of security. Overall, the stay itself was comfortable, but it felt loose in places, or the low quality was noticeable, so if they could improve that, I would feel comfortable staying here.

GGuest UserGOOD: hotel is secluded and secure due to its gated parking lot distancing the hotel from public access way. It has onsite restaurant with outstanding Rib Eye steak for $20. Most staff speaks some level of English and they allow guest(s). Its located close enough to walk to night spots but far enough to get good night rest. BAD: bed is not the greatest and linens dont cover the entire mattress. Shower has warm water, room is basic with limited channels on tv. UGLY: gym is unsat. Everything is broken. Canvas roof is in poor state as it appears to soon collapse from rain water collection. Floors epseems always be dirty and walls between rooms are thin. Price increases during the week and overall property seems to be deteriorating.
