What an amazing place to stay. The detail is impeccable in every part of the hotel. The decor is beautiful and the rooms are so great. The only thing I would comment on are he pillows. They weren't very comfortable.
We made a temporary reservation due to weather problems. There were no hotels nearby, only motels. I was a little worried about hygiene and safety issues. When we arrived, the front desk staff was very enthusiastic and gave us two bottles of water and chocolates. The room was large and there was a stove for cooking. I arrived at almost 7 o'clock in the evening during a holiday, and there was no restaurant to eat. In the morning, I went to the Bosca cafe opposite to have a rich breakfast. We had a lovely stay at this resort. The staff were excellent, very polite and efficient. The facilities, including the golf club over the road, hot pools, gym and sports court were great. There was a real family atmosphere and early mornings and late nights were nice and quiet, so we could truly rest up. The dinner at the restaurant was eclectic and delicious, though we needed to book due to its popularity. Our only criticism would be the buffet breakfast that was overpriced with not much to choose from, so we only ate there once. Other that that, we will definitely return and recommend this place to others, particularly as a spring or winter resort location due to its hotpools.
Hotel location is very good to find, we are driving, so navigate over, just on the roadside, very easy to find, there are many parking spaces below. Because of personal negligence, the wrong day was set, it was originally impossible to cancel, and I found the wrong time when I checked in, but after the application, the order was cancelled for free. The foreign country was particularly touched. The front desk brother was still at the check-in and sent a bottle of milk, which was delicious. The sanitation is very clean, the moment I opened the door, I was very satisfied. What made me most satisfied was that the hot water and water volume were particularly large. There was a SPA bathtub in the bathroom. I didn’t try it without commenting. There was a small detail that must be praised. The shelf of the towel was actually heated, and the small objects and towels were hung overnight. It’s a bit far to go out to the concentrated restaurant and need to walk about one kilometer. The overall living is very quiet and very satisfied!
We stayed as a family of 4 the rooms were emaculately clean, the beds were beautiful and very generous sizing, local milk in beauitful glass bottles connecting the local rural communiy was a great touch.All appliances were new and whisper quiet, which meant we all slept very well. Glenys gave us plenty of advice on where to take the children, local hot pools were a hit and the domain next door with playground gardens and basket ball courts for free family fun, the exploding geyser was great entertainment, very handy location to all the walking tracks up mt Te aroha, supermarket and shops easy walking distance from motel.
The service was second to none.
Rod and Glenys were amazing hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we all had the best stay.
We had car trouble, and they opened their garage and time to help us get back on the road forever grateful.Truely, beautiful caring people.
We will be back again soon and have told all our friends and family of our new favorite motel

After we checked out, we are shocked that the hotel double charged the room fee to our credit card without informing us. The receptionists are apathy and unhelpful. We are disappointed with Novotel.

Although we went to use the in room telephone, it was not connected, and there was no sign of a connection cable.....
We had an 11a.m. checkout when I reserved the room.
On the information sheet we got on arrival, check out was 10a.m.
When we quiered the conflict. The receptionist made it sound like she was doing us a favor 🤣
YYUJUCheck in was smooth and quick but changed room twice to get everything right. Our first room had urine stains on the toilet, which means this room was not properly cleaned up. That was terribly disgusting to find these spots. Also, the smart TV in the first room didn't work. Our second room was find but has no bathtub as requested. Changed to the third room and finally get the okay one with great AC, working TV and cleanness. It was our first time stayed in a 5-star hotel in NZ and was surprised the standard is quite low compared to the other 5 stars in Asia. Has small heated pool accommodating 6 people max. Swimming pool and sauna were fine but steam room didn't work. Service okay and great breakfast. Will consider the other place next time.

GGuest UserBasically, this hotel (inn) has everything you want, but the quality is not high. The biggest advantage is that it is very convenient if you are traveling by car. The fact that you can park your car at the door is very good. Don’t count the other things. , which is also good. There is a large supermarket opposite which is convenient for shopping!
WWendyWe were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, tidy, and really well presented. The bathroom was really big, and the shower was awesome. We were a bit worried about traffic noise as it's on a busy road and next to a BP station, but once the windows were closed, it was so quiet. You honestly couldn't hear anything. You do have to go to another motel to book inn, which isn't a problem, but it should be mentioned when you make your booking. Will definitely stay here again.
