Overall good experience, excellent communication with Mr Gogo via WhatsApp. Room service is available. They take Visa cards but don't leave it until the last minute in case the machine isn't working (internet connection). If you want to be sure of Visa payment, settle your bill the day before checkout. They will do all possible to facilitate using the payment of your choice. Staff were very friendly, always happy to help and spoke English, some quite well. Pool was clean but needs more lounges and pool towels. AC worked well. Internet was spotty, sometimes good, sometimes slow or cutting in and out. Good variety of food at breakfast-local food and omlettes/toast.
I had an early morning flight and had to check out at midnight, so I went to bed early. Just after I slept for a while, the shrill alarm sounded, so I quickly got dressed and prepared to evacuate. At this time, another shrill male voice was speaking loudly incomprehensible words. I hurried downstairs to ask the reason, and found out that someone secretly smoked and triggered the alarm... I couldn't fall asleep when I returned to the room, and checked out in a daze before three o'clock. Shouldn't the hotel apologize or even compensate me?
I visited Timor-Leste for the first time on a solo trip and stayed at this new hotel for one night.
Until the day before, I had been staying at another hotel where I had several unpleasant experiences. But everything changed once I moved here — the facilities are new and modern, and above all, every staff member I met was genuinely kind and welcoming. Thanks to them, my trip ended on a very positive note.
The airport pickup was arranged quickly at a reasonable price, which was extremely helpful.
If I visit Timor-Leste again, I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel.
Highly recommended.
First of all, there is nothing fun in East Timor. It is relatively scarce in terms of tourism resources, transportation is not convenient, and prices are relatively high. Then as for the hotel, it is just so-so, a bit like the guesthouses in China. The facilities are relatively old and the business is relatively small. There are no slippers in the room, and you don’t have to bring your own toothbrush or other toiletries. There is no free mineral water, only bottled water service, which can only be said to be make do. The free breakfast is relatively small. It may be because it is closer to the airport and the transportation is more convenient. The infrastructure of the whole East Timor is really poor.

MM468113****The hotel was very nice, the breakfast was good, and it was right across from the beach. The tables and chairs outside were very cool to sit on.
