*”We stayed at KK Sapa Hotel 1 night on 10 May and had a truly memorable experience. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in easy. Although we arrived in the morning, the hotel kindly allowed us to pre-check in and stored our luggage until the official check-in time at 2 pm. Our room on the 17th floor was spotless, with all lights, power outlets, and washroom facilities working perfectly. The air conditioning, water heater, and swimming pool on level 13 were all in excellent condition. Breakfast at level 2 was impressive, offering a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The hotel’s location is very convenient — just a 5-minute walk to shopping streets, 8–10 minutes to the bustling city center, 300m to Moana Café, and only a short drive to Alpine Coaster and Cat Cat Village parking area. The view from our room was fantastic, even though fog covered the scenery for two days during our stay. Overall, KK Sapa Hotel exceeded our expectations. We will definitely book here again when visiting Sapa in the future, and we highly recommend it to other travelers. A solid 10/10!”*

I had a wonderful stay at Phuong Nam Hotel. The location is very convenient just about a 500-meter walk to Sun Plaza, making it easy to explore the area. Even though I arrived early at 6am from Hanoi, the staff were very accommodating. While waiting for the 2pm check-in, they kindly allowed me to freshen up and store my luggage, which I truly appreciated after a long journey. The breakfast is also worth mentioning only 100,000 VND per person, with a wide variety of choices. Definitely great value for money. Right in front of the hotel, there’s a shop where you can buy many items at very affordable prices. It’s always packed with people, which shows how good it is and it’s totally worth checking out. Overall, this is one of the best hotels I’ve experienced. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sapa!

I seldom write negative reviews. Unfortunately, I have to do so this time. This hotel markets itself as 4-star, but 3.5-star is probably more appropriate. I booked a Family Room for 2 nights, and it felt like the family room hasn't been occupied for extended period. When we checked in, (1) TV was not working, (2) safe was faulty and couldn't be locked, (3) lamp by the bed was not working, (4) fridge was barely cold (staff explained that the power is weak. But the fridge was room temperature throughout our stay), and (5) the wardrobe door cannot be closed properly; the light from the wardrobe was kinda annoying at night when the lights were off. The family room has no window and the restroom has a musty smell. During our first night (April 2), we asked for an ice bucket at the reception - we collected it physically from a male staff who was on duty and who was visibly upset and was moderately shouting at guests who called the reception. Overall, the location is great. Staff (esp Mr Thomas) tried their best to fix the problems in our room. I walked past the other rooms facing the city and they looked more pleasant than the family room. However, I would advise AGAINST booking the family room (which is the most expensive room type). Again, I don't think it's a 4-star hotel, though the staff are commendable. I think the management should do something to rectify this problem as there are several negative reviews on the same observations. Thank you.

This hotel offers excellent value for money and is spotlessly clean. My stay this time was absolutely fantastic! The hotel boasts a refined ambiance, with spacious and tidy rooms. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring I slept soundly through the night. The front desk staff were warm and attentive; check-in was swift, and they even thoughtfully recommended local dining options. The breakfast selection was rich, offering both Chinese and Western dishes, and everything tasted great. Its convenient location makes getting around easy. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit. A definite five-star review!

Found the overall experience to be just okay. The rooms were decent… Nothing particularly impressive, but comfortable enough for a short stay. Cleanliness and basic amenities were acceptable, though not memorable. The view, which is often a highlight in SaPa, was unfortunately underwhelming. Instead of scenic mountain or rice terrace views, it felt quite chaotic and lacked that “wow” factor you might expect from this destination. Breakfast was passable. There were some basic options available, and it’s fine if you just need something quick to start your day. However, the quality and variety were quite limited, so don’t expect anything special. Overall, the stay was average. While it wasn’t a bad experience, I would probably consider exploring other hotels in SaPa next time for better experience.

We arrived in Sapa before 7 AM via the Hk Sleeping Bus, and the office was incredibly chaotic and crowded. We had pre-requested a hotel drop-off service, but it was so busy that we considered just walking, as Google Maps showed our hotel was only a 10-minute walk from the office. We decided to wait a bit longer for the drop-off service, and it's a good thing we did – that walk would have been impossible! Sapa has narrow streets, lots of steep inclines, and many construction sites. If we had just walked without knowing, it could have been a real problem. Anyway, despite being on a slope, the hotel staff greeted us warmly and happily stored our luggage for free. The room was spacious and in great condition. My only minor complaint is that there was no toilet paper holder, which was a bit inconvenient. Don't expect much from breakfast. The location, however, is excellent. Sapa Station is very close, and we only took a taxi to Cat Cat Village; everything else was within walking distance. For Cat Cat, I recommend using Grab. We asked the hotel to call a taxi for us, and I feel the driver overcharged us significantly. For our departure, we had also requested a pickup. When the scheduled pickup time approached and the bus hadn't arrived, the staff members personally contacted the bus company to confirm and reassured us. Thank you, everyone! ^^

This homestay offers amazing views of the valley and rice  terraces. The bungalows are very clean and new. The staff here is what makes the places. They are so attentive and do anything for you. Speak perfect English if you need it. The homestay is a bit of a ways down the hill, but this makes for excellent seclusion and peace. Definitely recommend this place.

The hotel is located a bit outside the city center, so getting to the main attractions takes some extra travel time. That said, the trade-off is a noticeably quieter neighborhood, which was nice for sleeping and unwinding after a busy day. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the facilities in general were good — no complaints there. Two things worth noting, though. First, the air conditioning was quite weak and struggled to cool the room properly, which can be annoying depending on the climate. Second, the toiletries provided (shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, shaving cream, etc.) felt cheap. I'd recommend bringing your own if you're particular about that sort of thing. Breakfast was a highlight — good variety and quality, a pleasant way to start the day. Overall a decent option, especially if you don't mind being a little farther from the action and you pack your own bathroom essentials.

A good, clean, and quiet hotel. Here’s what stood out: - Fresh and clean rooms + new plumbing. - Excellent valley views (if your windows face that way). - Extremely accommodating staff (they tried to resolve issues and even allowed our friends to use the pool). - Lots of beautiful butterflies flying nearby. Things that were 50/50: - Hotel location: It's a bit far from the city center, up on a hill. This makes it quiet and free from smells, but you’ll need to take a taxi or scooter for about 7-10 minutes to get to the center. - Good breakfasts: They can make fresh scrambled eggs/omelets or soup. However, if you stay longer than 5 days, it might get repetitive. - Open and cool pool: But there might not be enough sun loungers, as there are only 6 available. - Only some of the staff spoke English. What I didn't like: - No currency exchange. - No spa. - After breakfast hours, the hotel restaurant and bar are open for orders, but half of the cocktails weren't available due to a lack of alcohol (they were out of 3 types of rum).

JJM travelsPositives: Immaculate service. Very warm, welcoming, friendly and personalised experience. The team takes the time to speak to each and every guest, always greeting with a smile 💕 Laundry was USD4 /kg. Very nice strong smell for the detergent. Great selection of food and wonderful ala carte breakfast buffet. Scrambled eggs were so so good! The beef soup as well 👍 Loved the house pets 💕 Location is great! Not too far from city, yet far enough for peace and quiet. Near the rice fields, amazing views and fresh air. Near the alpine coaster. Massage was great too. A lil pricey but so convenient and worth it. The overall vibe was fantastic and relaxing. Definitely coming back here again despite some of the negatives below. Negatives: Insects everywhere! On the bed too! No bed bugs, that's clean. But due to the location and how each house is built, tons of little flying insects. The mosquito net helps keep most of the insects off the bed so we kept it open over the bed. Not so much privacy as the porch and tub had direct view of another room's porch.. Might have gotten exposed once or twice... we did ask for a private room but were placed right next to the pool deck. The dining place mats were dirty and re-used. They ignored the dirty spots and just placed the utensil on the mats. I had to wipe my utensils clean and placed them over serviettes instead. Too many steps 😅 we checked in after a 2d1n hike up Fansipan so our thighs were screaming with each step up and down within the Hotel compound. Overall, definitely a 9.5/10 stay!

MManish NegiD Home Sapa: A Memorable Stay in Charming Bungalows My recent stay at D Home Sapa was truly a delightful experience, marked by beautiful scenery, comfortable accommodations, and warm hospitality. Nestled in the stunning landscape of Sapa, this property offers a unique combination of rustic charm and modern amenities that makes it a perfect retreat for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure. Breathtaking Views and Tranquil Atmosphere One of the most remarkable features of D Home Sapa is its breathtaking views. YYeh YI would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Sapa Passion Hotel and Spa. They say they aim to provide “a home away from home,” and they truly delivered on that promise. From the moment we arrived in Sapa early in the morning, the staff kindly allowed us to check in early. After an overnight sleeper train, being able to rest a little before exploring Sapa was such a blessing. As soon as we entered the room, we were amazed by its spaciousness and cleanliness, and the clear view of the lake from our window was simply beautiful. The receptionist also suggested several local activities for us, and although we couldn’t join due to the weather, we truly appreciated her thoughtful recommendations. On our departure day, we took a night bus out of Sapa, and the hotel generously let us use their bathroom to freshen up before our journey. It made our departure so much more comfortable. We felt genuinely cared for during our entire stay, and I sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sapa.

AAnonymous UserBasically everything is pretty ok. But it seems that because it is new, working for guests is still quite boring, I feel that the staff have not come, the areas have not been optimized to use, so although it belongs to banyan and 5 star grade, I think it is only 4 stars at the current level. domestic. Even my room when checking in, there is no bath salt, so the room cleaning needs to be revised. The check-out process is also quite long. Hope the resort will improve and develop better in the future.

DDeeeeengdongIt’s quite far from the downtown area, and the road has a lot of steep slopes, so walking from the city center to the hotel is difficult. However, it’s close to Cat Cat Village, making it easy to visit on foot, and you can even see part of the village from the hotel. ^^ I looked at all the hotels in Sapa with a swimming pool, and this one is definitely in the top three. I also liked that they have shower facilities available after swimming or even after check-in/check-out.

LLils01Great hotel. Good location. Very clean. We had a quiet room on the third floor. The window did not have a view of anything except a wall which was fine as we didn't stay in the room much. There was a lot of variety for breakfast and the view front the pool was amazing. The gym was a good size. It needed dumbells heavier than 10kg though but a good gym hotel with lots of room. Service was excellent. Would definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserService: The service was truly excellent, exceeding my expectations! The staff were incredibly polite. I had booked a sleeper bus to Hanoi through Klook, but the HK company hadn't confirmed the pick-up via email. The duty manager was super helpful in contacting the driver for me and assured me not to worry, saying, 'If they don't show up, I'll take you there myself.' So nice of them! Their front desk can also book buses, and it's a convenient shuttle point in the town center. Excellent service! Location: Right in the heart of Sapa town, just 20 meters from Sun Plaza. The location is superb! Very convenient for exploring and dining. It's on the main street, surrounded by many restaurants, cafes, and massage places. Sapa at night is beautiful and comfortable. Cleanliness: If I had to nitpick, it would be the cleanliness. The towels weren't very clean; I'd suggest they switch to disposable towels. The room itself was clean and spacious, and the air conditioning worked great. Overall, the value for money is fantastic, highly recommended!

GGuest UserDelasol's Chapa Brasserie Restaurant's breakfast buffet has an impressive spread divided into different stations. First is the hot coffee/tea and other beverage station. Succeeded by a table of cold cuts, cheese appetizer and salads. Next station is the breads, pastries and pancake corner. Followed by the highly patronized Hot counter for made to order Pho and Egg dishes. h other local dishes but leaned more on international cuisine. Finally the main course array with a line up of asian oriented dishes are enough for every palate to enjoy in the morning. Stepping inside, we were greeted with a meticulously indochine inspired dining hall with wood and leather studded chairs. The showstopper is floor to ceiling glass windows which have a panoramic view of mist shrouded mountain range further adding to the enjoyment of the dining experience.
