We are a couple from Germany and Croatia and we had an amazing stay Yuyian No.8. The best hotel and service we had on our 3 weeks travelling China. The staff speaks only a little bit English but was able to communicate with us via WeChat and provided excellence service 24/7. One day they packed us a breakfast package, because we wanted to leave early in the morning. They provided a tea tasting and arranged a taxi driver for us. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the rooms are super clean. We stayed for 2 nights and didn't want to leave. Everything looks beautiful like in the pictures.

The room was very clean. It was only 5 minutes' drive from the Huangshan bus stop. The hotel provided free pick-up and drop-off. The hotel staff provided good service. The housekeeper helped us plan the climbing route. The parent-child room we booked also had large floor-to-ceiling windows. They also gave us trekking poles. When we went to the high-speed rail station to take the bus, the hotel also enthusiastically helped us contact a carpool. The overall experience was very good. It was a very pleasant living experience.

You can walk into the hills along the stream straight from the hotel. The host was very friendly and helpful. She picked us up and dropped us off where we wanted to go. The rooms were great. They were clean and had every thing you could want. The restaurant food was delicious, made by local cons from the village and cooked to meet our dietary needs - we are vegetarian. The swimming pool was in use. So do ask before you arrive.

I originally wanted to stay at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, but I made a reservation after seeing that the B&B was also very close to Emerald Valley. The stay at Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was remarkable. Received a call from the host (小李管家) while on the way to confirm my arrival time and needs. She even helped me arrange a driver to pick us up from the Huangshan North train station at a reasonable cost. Driver (李师傅) was friendly and gave us lots of tips while visiting Huangshan and we ended up using his services throughout the 3 days we were there. When we arrived, 小李管家 was right at the hotel entrance waiting for my for us and checkin into our rooms was a breeze. Rooms were clean with all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. Most impressive was the hotel layout and design which was very artsy and minimalist for a place like Hongcun. It was simply amazing! Me and my family especially loved the lobby and the coziness especially in front of the fireplace during winter. Hotel Location was within walking distance (200m) to Hongcun Ancient village and around 40mins drive to Huangshan mountain and around 1.5hrs drive to the Huangshan North Station or Tunxi Ancient Street. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and relatives if they are planning to visit Huangshan one day!!!
