Hotel is about 8-10min walk from the bus drop off area. Staff were polite, attended to my request promptly. We booked the family room which can accommodate 7 of us, however there were only 2 towels plus 2 disposable towels provided in the room. The hotel staff provided us with more towels upon request. The room was clean and tidy. There were 2 double beds which fit 4 of us, while another tatami bed barely fit the other 3 of us (wished it was bigger tatami), but it is just for one night, so it was alright. The room equipped with a big window which facing the Main Street, which is a plus point, great morning and night view of snow town from the view! Breakfast was great! A lot of variety and it was delicious.
The hotel even gave us free frozen foods as supper. There were free 泼水成冰 activities provided by the hotel too. Overall the stay was great.

I chose the Wanda Realm Qiqihar, expecting a five-star experience. My reasons for picking a 5-star hotel are usually for a rich breakfast, excellent service, and complete facilities. However, this stay left me very disappointed.
First, there was no space in the hotel's ground parking lot. A staff member directed me to the underground parking, explaining that hotel guests could get free parking if the front desk handled it. When I checked in, I mentioned I'd parked underground and asked them to sort it out. The two girls at the front desk said the underground parking was paid. I explained that there was no space above ground and the security guard told me to park in underground section M, assuring me that hotel guests could park for free. They exchanged glances and then said they would 'apply' for free parking for me. This already put me off – if I hadn't pressed the issue, would I have been tricked into paying for parking?
After checking in, I went to my room. I had booked a family room, but when I entered, I only saw one large bed. I had to go back downstairs to the front desk. They explained that they didn't know how old my children were, so they hadn't made up the extra bed, and then sent someone to do it.
The next day at breakfast, the whole rhythm of the restaurant's service felt off. Many serving dishes were empty, but it took a long time for food to be refilled. The watermelon platter was almost empty when I arrived, and they only brought out a fresh plate when I was nearly finished eating. All in all, it was a very disappointing stay. I won't be choosing Wanda Hotels again in the future.

Cleanliness & Basics: The room was clean and we had hot water for showers.
Authentic Experience: We enjoyed feeling immersed in the local neighborhood, with lots of small, inexpensive restaurants nearby.
Points for Foreign Families to Note:
Language Barrier: The staff were very kind and helpful, but did not speak English. They managed communication using translation apps, which was fine but required patience.
Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast was entirely Chinese-style (congee, egg, steamed buns, pickles).
Amenities: Don't expect extra facilities like a gym or pool. It's a place to sleep and clean up, not a resort.
Local Focus: The inn is clearly geared toward domestic travelers, so room decor is simple and functional.
Overall: This inn is an excellent, economical choice if you prioritize a clean room and good value. We were comfortable and would use it again for a budget trip

This stay was absolutely fantastic, and the room facilities were simply impeccable. The bedding was top-notch, and the mattress was perfectly soft yet supportive, ensuring I got a great night's sleep every night. The 65-inch smart TV had a crystal-clear picture and fast internet, which was perfect for catching up on shows in my downtime. And those blackout curtains? They were excellent, completely blocking out all external light, so I could sleep in without any disturbance.

Big thanks to Sister Qiu for always responding to our inquiries and to the boss, Hongbo, for the warm hospitality and care. We had a very comfortable and fun four-day, three-night stay (Dec 27-30) in Snow Valley. The warm beds, hot meals, and enjoying all the entertainment activities in Snow Valley and Snow Village gave our group of four an extraordinary winter experience.
At Xiongling in Snow Valley, we tried snowmobiling, snow tubing, skiing, and snow drifting (super thrilling!).
**Friendly reminder**: Please wear sunglasses, a mask, and a snow hat. This will help prevent the cold snow from hitting your face when you're snow drifting. The snow hitting your face is incredibly, unbelievably cold!
For the Yangcaoshan itinerary, I recommend buying tickets for the horse-drawn sled and taking the snowmobile all the way up the mountain. Hiking would be a very long and time-consuming distance. For the second half, we opted to hike down to Snow Village, and the snow scenery along the way was absolutely spectacular, perfect for photos. You can also buy a small sled to enjoy some exciting mini snow runs on the way down.
**The only drawback**: The shower head in the bathroom had low water pressure, so it took a bit longer to shower.

We had a wonderful stay here and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The place was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location peaceful and had beautiful views.
The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful, always making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Every detail was well prepared, and the amenities provided were more than enough for a comfortable stay. The food was amazing too. I’m so thankful that they also serve halal foods.
Overall, this homestay exceeded our expectations. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay!

The hotel was clean and tidy. I stayed here for three days and had a new, unique experience each day. Harbin in winter is truly romantic, offering a feeling that no other city can. I think everyone can relate to this: when you're happy with your accommodation, you naturally have a better time exploring. Their butler service was incredibly attentive, showing genuine care both before and after check-in. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the room was kept very clean. Five stars for them!

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was excellent – right off the Yangmingtan Bridge. Free parking was a big plus, and there were plenty of spaces. Downstairs, you could find all sorts of restaurants and supermarkets, and food delivery came right to the door. You could even see the Yangmingtan Bridge directly from the room. It had a fridge, washing machine, and induction cooker. The disposable toilet seat covers and disposable towels/bath sheets were a nice touch! And the best part: it's pet-friendly! Pet-friendly! Pet-friendly!

We booked two rooms for a family trip. The front desk lady was very nice and gentle. The security uncle was very reliable. It was very convenient to eat and play around. The facilities are old-fashioned European style. It's not too old now. It's just that the toilet is a bit old-fashioned. But it doesn't matter. Some people may not be willing to use smart ones. The hotel and the room are very clean and quiet. It's easy to find, with a pedestrian street and an underground shopping mall at the door. The surrounding facilities are complete. There is also a night market nearby, you can search it. There is also a zoo and an amusement park. I must eat Qiqihar barbecue, which is really fresh meat. It's delicious. We just go to other cities, otherwise I really want to bring some meat back. It looks very beautiful and has patterns, not fishy at all. In this city, most people I met are very good anyway. Everyone can rest assured to play, just ask if you don't understand. No one will cheat you. But still pay attention to safety. There should be a good hot spring, but we didn't have time to go there. I will come back to make up for it when I have the opportunity in the future.
Facilities: old European style
Hygiene: clean and tidy
Environment: convenient for eating, drinking and having fun around
Service: very good attitude
Found a gem of a hotel in Yabuli!
They provide all the necessary amenities, and the heating works wonderfully. That window view absolutely blew me away! ❄️
The service was outstanding.
There are many shops around here, and they all offer free pick-up and drop-off.
On this side of the mountain, there's also a laundry room, a children's play area, a gym, and a bar. The mountain restaurant serves delicious Northeast Chinese cuisine at great prices, and the portions are huge!
You won't have to worry about boredom at night – you can just head over for a drink.

MM1y0k1i5w****Snow Valley Nannan Homestay exceeded our expectations! The guesthouse is surrounded by white snow, and the courtyard has swings and a snow slope, perfect for kids to play in. The room facilities are complete, with a well-functioning water heater and reliable Wi-Fi, making it easy to stream videos and upload photos without issues. The owner is a fantastic cook; their authentic Northeastern dishes like Stewed Chicken with Mushrooms, Di San Xian (stir-fried potato, pepper, and eggplant), and Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork) were incredibly delicious, generously portioned, and affordable. They also provide free snow tubes, shovels, and other snow play tools, saving us the cost of rentals. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a quiet night's sleep to recharge. The owner even helped us book our return tickets, taking away any worries. It was a comfortable and stress-free stay, definitely the best value for money in Snow Valley!

GGuest UserDo not be fooled by the two stars hotel rating when selecting this Homestay. This Homestay offers a different experience as you could wake up seeing snowfall from your window, playing at the slides outside the hotel for the children and enjoying the sumptuous restaurant food behind the hotel in the negative temperature. The Manager of the hotel rendered professional service as she helped us book all the attractions and the driver would pick and send us there. The driver is very experienced and careful when driving in thick snow. The ski resort is near the Homestay which my boys spent 3 hours skiing. In addition, the Manager instructed the kitchen to prepare fries and pop corn chickens specially for my children. Excellent service and we truly enjoyed our stay at this Homestay. Keep up the good work!
KKennyOTM🏡 A Dream in a Snow Globe | Dayin Guanshan Tingxue Homestay
My heart found its winter home at Dayin Guanshan Tingxue Homestay in magical Snow Town. Waking up here isn't just about a room—it's about an experience. Picture this: soft morning light filters through paper-cut window decorations, glowing against wooden beams dusted with frost from the outside world. The warmth of the kang (heated brick bed), the rustic charm of the decor, and the incredible hospitality make you feel like you've stepped into a living postcard. It's the authentic, cozy Northeastern farmhouse dream, nestled right in the heart of a fairytale.
From our doorstep, the adventures unfolded into a winter wonderland:
❄️ Da Tu Ding | 大秃顶子山
Just a short journey away lies the ”Big Bald Top” mountain—the pinnacle of Heilongjiang! We took the thrilling over-snow vehicle ride up to its majestic, snow-blanketed slopes. Standing at the peak, above the sea of clouds, surrounded by endless rime ice and pristine powder, felt like touching the sky. The raw, powerful beauty here is absolutely breathtaking.
🌲 Shi Li Hua Lang | 十里画廊
A gentle stroll from the homestay leads you into the ”Ten Mile Gallery.” This is not a painting—it’s a living, frozen masterpiece. We wandered through a silent forest transformed by nature: every pine branch elegantly curved under the weight of perfect snow, creating dreamlike tunnels and sculptures. The silence is profound, broken only by the crunch of snow underfoot. It’s a peaceful, meditative walk through the most beautiful art gallery on earth.
✨ The Magic Formula:
(The Cozy Soul of Guanshan Tingxue) + (The Epic Landscape of Snow Town) = A Memory That Will Warm You Forever.
This isn't just a trip; it's a feeling. The perfect blend of rustic warmth and untouched winter majesty.

MM250700****While scrolling through Xiaohongshu for travel tips, I stumbled upon a photo of this place featuring motorcycle travelers – helmets hanging on the wall, group photos of fellow adventurers – and it instantly resonated with me. Driven by an impulse, I set off, and the moment I walked through the door, I wasn't disappointed. The walls weren't just adorned with photos of motorcycle enthusiasts checking in; there were also postcards and handwritten letters from guests all over the world. These messages conveyed sentiments ranging from the exhilaration of riding thousands of kilometers to the joy of seeing the aurora for the first time. It felt like stepping into a 'spiritual gathering place' for passionate travelers, where even the air hummed with the warmth of dream-chasing.
Settling in, I felt even more at ease. Both the room and public areas were spotlessly clean and tidy. The bedding was neat and odorless, there was no clutter on the tables or floor, and even the smallest details in the corners were meticulously maintained. This cleanliness wasn't a forced orderliness, but rather a comfortable ease that instantly melted away much of my travel fatigue.
What truly touched me was the human warmth here. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and genuine, taking the initiative to chat with us about travel routes in Beiji Village, sharing aurora forecasts, and offering photography tips. The hotel even provided free hot water and ladles, allowing us to experience the fun of 'splashing water into ice.' Everyone else at the hotel was also very friendly. Occasionally, when chatting with other travelers in the common area, the feeling of being strangers vanished instantly.
In the biting cold winds of the far north, 'Motorcycle Enthusiast Home' wasn't just a clean and comfortable place to stay; it fulfilled my passion for motorcycling and allowed me to experience an unexpected warmth.
GGuest UserThis trip was great. Thanks to Brother Xiaodong for taking me to many places and introducing special features to me. Going here feels like going home and my mood instantly healed. After eating dumplings, frozen pears and jelly persimmons, Brother Xiaodong was worried about whether I was cold or not and prepared them for me. The big cotton-padded jacket is really considerate
MM2ge3c9w2****Staying at this B&B in Yabuli, the moment I walked into the room, I was immediately charmed by the classic Northeastern floral bedding. The room was spotlessly clean, the pillows and duvets neatly folded, and the heating was cranked up – it was freezing outside, but inside I was sweating in just a t-shirt! The comfort was unparalleled. The owner pays attention to every single detail; staying here isn't just about getting a good night's sleep, it's about experiencing genuine Northeastern hospitality.
MM825645****This stay completely exceeded my expectations—it was the most delightful surprise of my trip! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; it's just a few minutes' walk to the subway, surrounded by shopping areas and great restaurants, making travel and dining effortless. The front desk service was warm and professional, check-in was efficient, and they even proactively shared local sightseeing tips. When I casually mentioned needing a charging cable, they immediately helped me find one—the attention to detail was truly thoughtful.
The room itself was even more impressive. It was spotlessly clean, not a speck of dust anywhere. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the blackout curtains were excellent, ensuring I got a peaceful night's sleep during my travels. The bathroom had a well-designed wet/dry separation, ample hot water, and the toiletries had a fresh scent and felt high-quality. The in-room smart devices were easy to operate, and the Wi-Fi signal was stable, perfect for work or entertainment without any lag. The complimentary drinks in the mini-bar were a nice bonus.
The breakfast selection was extensive, offering not only standard Chinese and Western dishes but also delicious local specialties. Any requests during my stay were met with a quick response from the staff, and I felt completely at home throughout. It offers excellent value for money, suitable for both business trips and leisure vacations. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely choose to stay here again next time!
TTan Bing XiangThis is one of the rare occasions that i wanted to write a review because the accommodation and services are truly exceptional. Let me put it upfront that if you choose this accommodation, you will NOT regret your decision.
When we arrived, they provided transports from the train station (yabulixi) to their place. We were greeted by them and throughout the interactions they are very friendly. They are very hospitable and will do their best to take care of our needs.
The owners also assisted us and provided tips and places to go and even go to the extent of getting his people to ferry us around the places (yabuli ski resort, datudingzi mountain, snow&ice fantasy and snow town) at an affordable rate. Without his assistance, I don’t think we would have navigated better. It was a pleasant trip and they really did their best to provide the best services.
The owners also brought us to restaurants to eat during our stay as well as ferry us back to the train station at the end of our stay which was not required but they did it for us. We truly appreciate the services they have provided!
Their rooms are clean as well and they provided amenities such as slippers, towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer, toilet seat paper, beds are arranged well and there’s water heater as well.
If you have many choices to pick from like i do and you are still deciding, please give this a try because it will be an exceptional experience!
To the owners: thank you for your exceptional care and services. If we do come back again, we will stay at your place again!
